Hi Lauren! I just found your channel a few days ago. I love it! I have lupus, and after my youngest son was born nearly 5 years ago, I had postpartum hair loss. Then when he was 9 months, he had major surgery, and the stress of it (combined with lupus, which already can cause hair loss), I lost SO MUCH HAIR. It's still not totally back. I'm definitely going to look into this!

@@BoldlyLauren yep I understand. Mine is hashimotos, which is difficult to diagnose it seems, but eating gluten free helps.
I only wash my hair once a week.. do you think I would be able to use this without washing my hair? I tried other products but they just felt too greasy and I could not use unless I washed my hair daily.
I think you will be ok! It's not oily at all and almost absorbs on contact. While I wash every 3 days or so myself, I don't notice myself needing to wash more frequently when I use it.

No offense but I think when women are postpartum and they use hair regrowth formulas and gave good results it's hard to know if the product worked or if their hair grew back normally.
I lost hair during postpartum but it had grown back several years ago. This hairloss had happened after a surgery, and had thinned out significantly and wasn't coming back (could have been from the anesthesia or from the stress)

How does this work for androgenic alopecia?
Hi! I actually wondered that myself - truthfully, I'm not sure. I would imagine it would help because it's caused by DHT, but I know alopecia can be tricky to manage.
@@BoldlyLauren Yes, I wasn’t sure, either. My child’s hair started getting really thin at 19, and at 24 I realized she had patchy baldness that she was hiding under hats. I took her to a dermatologist who diagnosed AGA. She even biopsied a few places on the scalp to confirm it because of her age (young for female pattern baldness), but indeed it is AGA. The dermatologist did labs, all normal, but sent her to an endocrinologist to make sure she wasn’t missing anything. The endocrinologist also did labs that were normal but he said he suspects that, while my daughter has normal levels of DHT, etc., the hair follicle is super-sensitive to the normal amounts of DHT that she produces. That’s probably TMI 😂. This serum is a bit pricey, but if it would help I will spring for it! And if it will help instead of the meds, even better! Thanks for your help, Lauren!
@@Eris1701 anytime! If you do end up getting it for her, I would love to know how it works. Like I mentioned, I took my progress pics 4 months apart but usually people will see results anywhere between 3-6 months!
