yes! yes! YES! I love all your work, I've said before that you are a true master artist/craftsman, your eye for detail is incredible! This is my all time favourite guitar, so I'm in heaven! thank you so much for showing us your work. x
This is for sure better than the one Trogly documented. I deal with a lot of old instruments and I think there are some real question marks about the Murphy lab stuff.
Amazing work on this! Question on the original, what do we think caused the circular scratches at the volume pots? Was it jewellery scraping the finish as the volume pots were turned on and off?
Just curious. I noticed on a previous video that you would use a heat gun before you would take a (I think) abrasive 0000 pad to it. I’m assuming it’s to dull the gloss of the paint. My question is why do you heat it first?
I believe, Kirk Hammett will order 2-3 clones of his original Greenie to have on tours instead of ordering from Gibson :) Amazing attention on detail. Congratulations and greetings from Greece!
Master luthier and artist right here. As painful as it was to watch the relic process, the end result was worth it. Surprised Gibson hasn’t tried to recruit you
Hi Dr. Nitro did you see in the Andertons interview that the Murphy Lab was doing fake scalpel lines until it finally ‘discovered’ how to crack nitro with temperature changes. Which makes no sense because Tom Murphy said he knew about cracked guitars staying in a cold car overnight. It was bizarre.
Hi, nice job..another thing i noticed was that the ABR-1 bridge you used? Looks more like a real Vintage ABR-1 bridge?…the body is thinner with pointy ends, like a real 1950’s ABR-1 …witch model Abr-1 is that? “four uncles restorations?
Hey man! Just stumbled across your channel and saw the demo of your 59’ PAF clones. How much does a set of those usually cost to make and ship to America? I want to get a set next year. Also, fantastic video. Subbed!!
I did a relic process on my strat and it turned out great...but I don't dare with my Les Paul, I would just like to remove the gloss a little bit so that it is more matte.....
Now that looks like a $50,000 guitar…if there is such a thing! Beautiful work! I’ve aged many pickup covers plus other metal pieces, if you don’t mind telling, what is your process? You don’t have to say if you don’t want, I’d understand. Have a great day! ✌️😎🎸🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶
