Bottle hunting and metal detecting go hand in hand! We are all treasure hunters at heart.
And we do both! Treasure is Treasure.
Most bottles are worth far more than anything ever found while Metal detecting. History is important as always but value is what makes it real treasure. Awesome find and story!
Was just thinking about you guys. Been watching dig that bip for a long time. Possible collaboration to dig some privys or town dumps with them. Would make some great YT content. Thanks!!!😊❤
@@user-bv3cl2cl8b I’m always game! Haha!
Congrats Charlie! Awesome discovery! The history is worth as much as the bottle! Cool, cool.
Except for the gold escudos people dig from the 1715 fleet wrecks in Florida. Those are all minimum five figure coins, some even in the six figures. Boy is finding one of those a dream.
Glass is only valuable until the shit hits the fan. Then you are stuck with worthless glass. I would much rather stack silver because in that moment it only gets more valuable. Glass is cool tho. Great content fellas
Wow, congrats from another retired L.E. officer! That was definitely the find of a lifetime.
congrats Charlie!! I'm a metal detectorist and bottle digger too. about 10 years ago I dug a green East End Dairy bottle from 1934, only 7 or 8 known. Then found another one a day later. I sold 0ne of them and got my daughter a new car! It is indeed exciting when you find treasure like that...good job!
I have a friend in Tennessee who found a bottle and bought a car with the money from the sale. What a cool story!
Yeah not when you’ve been trying to find and collect treasures for years rarely ever get a deal then some random person finds the holy grail and sells it for a freggin car so it’ll never see the light of day or be in a museum
Unbelievable once in a lifetime find. Congratulations Charlie
Wow! Amazing find!
You poke around and look for anything else in those walls? Id start thinking there’s gotta be another one and tear my whole house apart 😂
That was amazing, congratulations Charlie, that's better than finding 10 gold rings.

It's incredible that the bottle didn't break when it fell from the attic! I'm sure that bottles were made of thicker glass back then but it's great to have that good fortune! Congrats!

Hello John,Mike and Gary
Started metal detecting in the mid 1980's and switched to bottle digging and hunting in 1990. Bottles are fascinating and some very valuable. I discovered a unique Memphis whiskey barrel call Stillman & Breen. That bottle today is worth $30,000. I sold it for $7,500 several years ago. Great find Charlie and congrats.
Good things really do happen to good people. Thanks for making this video.
Who knows, maybe there's another one in the walls! Beautiful bottle. Ive never even seen one of those in pictures.
Thank you for sharing this educational experience....Thank goodness I've kept my Pepsi collection for over 45 years and plan on adding 6 to 12 of those to the market soon. I also have a Hutchinson bottling machine from the original Neimi and Ladvala, Biwabik Bottling Works. (Also know where a couple more have been stored.)
Maybe a future privy dig at the property even if it had a privy or not? Thanks!!!😊❤
Now that's saving history, daggonitt!
What's its true date?
Great job-Charlie!
1925-1930
Congratulations on the awesome find!🎉
I can't seem to sell any bottles on eBay, but you managed to get twice as much as the most expensive Pepsi bottle ever sold for.
Beautiful bottle!! Its Attic Mint.
Who knew, great find Charlie.
That's incredible. congrats Charley.
Freaking amazing! When I was doing demo work in a 1940's house in Baltimore II had a box full of ammunition fall on me. Not worth much though.
I guess it has to be said " Good Grief, Charlie Brown "
Haha!
Congratulations Charlie
Congratulations Charlie hope you fine more
Pretty awesome. Thanks for sharing the story and a huge congratulations to Charlie!!!!
Thanks for sharing!
That's awesome Charlie! Congrats. I found a 1915 Coke a Cola bottle demoing a local press building. It to is a local bottling company here in Vermont. I found it in a wall. I think a carpenter drank it and placed it in the wall to get rid of it. 🤷♀️
Take the money and run Charlie You got top buck for that just like beer can collecting the bottom drops out sooner or later.
Nice vid
Awesome find for sure
That’s an awesome find, congrats Charlie!
Congrats! That's amazing. I found a $1000.00 quarter and thinking about selling it. How the taxes work for ya? Congrats again!
Amazing!
Well done Charlie 🫡

You don't hear very many incidents like this happening. Metal boxes with money, but a bottle?? Holy crap, Charlie, what a find indeed!! 9 G's should help with that great vacation with the Wife, or Partner!! WOW!!
Nice find 😊
Awesome!
Omg Charlie that is awesome
Nice bottle guys!!!
It looks wonderful :O
There are so many ornaments
Great find and story! I wonder how much more the bottle would have been worth if it were unopened?
That will buy some nice hunting rifles😂😂 congrats Charlie
😮 Way to go charlie🎉
Hmmm good to know 👍nice find🤫
Can you imagine when it fell from the ceiling IF it hit the hard floor and shattered? UGHHH
Sweet find! Congrats! I assume this is early 1900-1920 era? Is there a specific date range on it?
1925-1930
Awesome
If it would've been a snake, it would have bit you! Congratulations Charlie. Look around some more. Maybe you'll find another one in that ol house🍀
i know most metal detectorist are not bottle experts . But there are bottles worth a lot more than what you can find with a detector. that Pepsi just goes to show. I just dug a Pepsi worth 200.00 dollars.
Dang!
cool
If the house was from 1940 then it couldn't be left from someone building it since it's a 1925 era bottle. Oh and do you live in Greenville SC? I heard that's where that style was used.
Sounds like you need to finish your RENOVATION. More to come?
I have only one question.... Did he make sure nothing else is in the attic?
I may have missed it in the video, but what year roughly is this bottle?
1925-1930
WHAT YEAR??????
1925-1930
With that kind of money he can put a down payment on one of those metal detectors that reaches 30ft depth.
No detector needed
Greenville 😀🫡, My brother lives down there. A hello from NY and a congrats. I don’t think you’d of minded if that hit you in the head. 😅
Awesome! Yea, knock me out please I'll be ok once I wake up. Haha
