Lapua Center X Tested - Very Surprised.

Today we're testing Lapua Center X ammunition. Baseline groups shot with SK Match out of a custom Vudoo Gunworks 22LR rifle, then we put 5 different five shot groups on paper at 50 yards. We also got Garmin chronograph data for everything. Pretty surprised by the results of this testing today! Have you tried the lapua center x or the sk match through your rifle? FYI - on the last Lapua group you might notice a mystery shot appear in the footage...that's because I forgot how many shots I fired and accidentally added a sixth shot.

It’s amazing how lots shoot differently. I had my CZ 457 lot tested Tuesday and one particular lot of SK Rifle Match tested best.

Nice video. I think you proved to your self why you need a confortable shooting position with a front and rear rest for maximum precision. You will never be disapointed with Lapua products. The Finns have a great history of shooting, it shows in their products, like Sako Tikka Lapua and Vihtavuari

Lapua CX usually performs well in a custom made rifle, not always but more often than not, it's just a high quality ammo and delivers for it's price. That being said SK rifle similarly outperforms it's price point in those rifles. Based on shooter skill and target range it's often hard to justify the added expense of CX unless it's a big match with more on the line. Both of those choices with Eley Match are probably the majority of what shooters use. Sure wish SK and Lapua faucets would open up again LOL.

WOW great shooting from the window - STANDING. I guess that's what a balanced rifle will do for you. Have you tried Long Range or Super Long Range yet? Craig over at PDC does make one heck of chassis.

My Garmin does that too. If I operate the bolt a little harshly, I will see phantom shots between 375 and 475 fps. If you don't move the rifle much, then you won't see that.

I don't have a high end 22lr but my grandpa's old 1943 Winchester model 69 shoots eley crazy good for what it is. I can pretty consistently nail 8 in plates out to 200 I know it's not close to what y'all shoot with the purpose built rifles but it has helped me learn to judge wind when im shooting my 308 out to 5&600 yds

@@PrecisionRifleNetwork indeed. Both brands of rimfire come out of the same factory in Schönebeck, Germany. I suspect each brand has its own production lines and are made to different specifications for the markets they serve. Some barrels prefer SK, some Lapua. Mine prefer Eley 😁
