I remember it was a big things when there were movies coming on television on a Saturday or Sunday night. I loved hearing that music come on before movies on Fox or ABC. The good old days. Watching these commercials from the 70's and 80's bring me such peace. Thank you for uploading these.
Definitely remember the Dr Pepper commercial, it was catchy and popular for yrs. The Enjoli perfume commercial was really something, I remember singing it!! The voices of the advertisement ppl were very dull back then.
LOL @ the guy running through the door in the OraIda commercial Another LOL @ “What’s with the big box?” Like he genuinely didn’t know it would be included in the commercial.
I think its pretty obvious that it was to show the comparison between medicines printed on the side of the box magnified. Critical thinking really is a thing of the past!
Everything tasted better back then before the Government got involved with lower sugars and banning trans fat oils and other delicious but deadly ingredients.
I was not expecting the John Madden-style door smash at 3:37! LOL Horror Rises From The Tomb is my kind of movie! You know how hitting a keyboard number on a video takes you to a certain point, well hitting the "4" key takes you a few seconds ahead of the sound @ 6:44. "MY DRESS MY DRESS MY DRESS" Heck that commercial is full of more weird sounds! "What's with the big box" my thoughts exactly

#24 inspired a very first car purchase in my family long ago same color same everything as in the commercial including though not limited to the turbo it was a showroom car right out of & off the line
@@michaelabercrombie7698 In 1980? Not really. The 1979 Iran Revolution reduced oil output and when adjusted for inflation is one of the largest spikes in terms of the average price of oil. This graph is a bit out of date but still shows the overall picture: i.imgur.com/HOL7yBK.jpg This spike is basically what forced consumers to consider more fuel efficient foreign cars and cause the American auto industry to offer captive imports and redesign their cars.
Better than our commercial today now a days we have some gangster rappers on commercials talking about and rapping about mtn dew when back then they didn't have that crap I wish I could see how life was in the 80s and 70s and 60s just all of it
@@SeanSolomon11287 nothing sad about being old enough to remember the classics and being above ground to tell us. Life is a precious gift at any age.Btw at fifty something years old sadly I'm old enough to remember them too. 😉Lol!
Rive Gauche was my favorite perfume! Its funny, but after 40 years watching the spray and wash commercial I still want to punch out that stupid careless man that spilled his food on that womans dress!
Jason Douglas I think I figured it out. Bizarrely enough I just seen her on an episode of the show Northern Exposure. I’m 99.99% sure it’s Valerie Mahaffey.
She was on a Seinfeld episode where she dated George and he told her she was pretentious. She was the chopsticks-in-the-hair girl. Can't remember her name though
I wish we could go back to these old commercials
I remember these ads well. I loved those movie bumpers of 1970s, and 1980s. When ads on TV were wonderful...none were dull, and most had jingles.
Yes, definitely.
So crazy how much memories old commercials can bring.
Those old ads are fun to watch
Agreed, makes me miss the 80's

Man I miss the 80s I'm an 80s child thanks for these videos
I'm a 90's kid, but I still love 80's commercials, shows, movies and video games.

7:12 when the guy puts that big ass box of dristan on the table I just died laughing....lmaooo....
😂😂😂
At least it wasn’t suppositories....big pain in the ass
It does say it on the box so i guess it’s true...
LOL @ the guy running through the door in the OraIda commercial
Another LOL @ “What’s with the big box?” Like he genuinely didn’t know it would be included in the commercial.
Hahahaha....i was cracking up when that guy just ran thru the door!!!
We still didn't have cable in our area at this time we had a rotary antenna lol brings back a lot of memories

You're on a need to know basis here, pal.
My sister loved Doritos in the 80s lol the packaging is so old lol
Doritos brought back the original taco flavor in the the original package.
The voiceover pretty much described every Happy Days episode ever made 😂
Yeah once Fonzie jumped the shark fuhgeddaboutit!📺📉
Almost all the commercials have singers in them touting the items. I miss that and tv show theme songs
Its neat to see what commercials my mom was watching when she was pregnant with me. She was probably little over 2 months pregnant
Shaun Tabor that's really awesome - hope you enjoyed this experience, i'm looking for more 70s/80s/90s commercials actually haha
I would like go back to the 80's . This society blows nowadays...

That graham cracker cereal was actually good. I wonder why they stopped making it?
That was a fantastic Pepsi commercial! Those were the days......

I can bring home the bacon!
Fry it up in a pan...
And never let you forget you’re a man!
This commercial really stuck in my mind...40+ years later!
I am too tired for all of that.
Maybe I can do one of those things. If I can get a nap afterwards.
"Homer, I'll tell you what I told Redford; it ain't gonna happen."
Finally something for classic South Florida. Publix is now approaching it's 90th year, same great slogan. This is gold for everyone from Miami

Did they still have pub subs back then?
Still drink Pepsi to this day... Wow.... That's crazy lol
That's character actor Herb Vigran as George the Milkman in the Graham Crackos commercial. I remembered him from a Brady Bunch episode.
Some of these are from the 70’s, such as Graham Crackos; that was a 1978 commercial. Still, what a fun glimpse into the past
The way I classify these videos is purely by the date that they aired, not by the year the individual commercials originate from.
My childhood.
Had to poor a pound of sugar on the Rice Krispies Cereal it takes like packing peanuts 😂

Amazing sequence
American advertising was so harmonious in those days!
Bring back Graham Crackos😂😂
36 out of 50 drivers of T-Bird, Monte Carlo and Grand Prix preferred the Mirada
That is such an oddly specific claim
I'm wondering about the other 14....
I remember all the comercials they were much more realistic that made want you go out and buy the product.
Dodge mirada that’s a rare one!
Gangsta!
For a very good reason....
enjoli i remember that commercial lol
im so old i saw the sting in theaters lol
I'm so old so old the rainbow used to be black and white when I was a kid 😅
3:37 NICE CRACK, SIR !
A watch with a musical alarm?!.. NO WAY?!,!
What're they gonna come up with next?
They should redo the Enjoli commercial 🥰😍
I agree. I used to love that commercial when I was younger.
I blame the Enjoli commercial for making me think I have to do it all! Lol. Now I’m exhausted. Lol
I remember Gramcracko’s & this commercial! Yummy
16:31 Old “YSL” Commercial Wow!
13:00 I had several in the late 90s.....They were cheap and easy to work on.

Wonder where Connie Reyes and her daughter are today?
Connie's either in a nursing home; or dead in the ground....
I actually remember a lot of these; they're gonna be burying my dead a** soon....
RIP!
Poor David Naughton, he suffered the same fate as Lance Guest... bad choices after a great movie.
14:14 I actually remember the regular flavor Doritos from when I was a kid. They were surprisingly good.
They were excellent!
Also the bag was filled to the top.
WPLG ch 10 - Miami - wow back then Ann Bishop was the big anchor they still use the tag line "one and only"....
17 mpg is "good gasoline millage"? Detroit, please.
For a domestic late 70's/early 80's sedan, that was a pretty average MPG.
Also remember gas was cheaper.

Also, in those days the EPA's city mileage figures tended to be low. Normal driving around town tended to be higher.

Question... Was that Elizabeth Shue in the Aquafresh commercial?
This was two years before she started doing commercials, also doesn’t look like her to me.
