Actually I have the same bike and the same slipons, since new. At low throttle setting, they deepen the sound making the SSS sound smoother and less metallic. No impact on the beautiful burble when slowing down. Twist the throttle though, accelerating in sport mode, and OMG they roar like a wild animal. Haters gonna hate. I love my Akros - they add serious class around town, and deep character when sending it out in the wild.
So you get a better sound than stock at a much cheaper price than full pipe Akrapovic but don't loose passenger foot pegs or put extra heat near the rider. Shame they don't make a full pipe but ending in the stock low position.
Even the full exhaust system only ads 3 hp on a dyno. so I doubt the slip ons ad any hp at all. and the stock bike already sounds pretty sweet when at idol.
As found out, while testing a Ninja 1000SX ,by putting Akrapovic can on a system with a cat still installed, they produced LESS power than the OEM one...only spend your cash on a full system!
@@HeyAddieImTojo I completely agree with the Termis on a Duc. The system for the 939 doesn't match up without some metal fabrication to the 950, sadly. That, and Termignoni has never released a remap for the 950, though a good dyno shop could probably solve the issue. But to put a cat-delete slip on set of Termis from the 2017-2020 SS on a 21-22 isn't a bolt-up/plug-n-play operation at this point. Maybe one day...
Do these add any more performance than the stock? Can the installation of the slip-ons be done at home or in the shop only where they tune it to the exhaust?
If that cats arent removed you really arent altering anything about the exhaust other than look and sound. Almost no change in airflow through the motor.

see this is the type of information i look for as a SSS owner ^.^ thx

Is the bike louder without the slip on exhaust?
@@rxtract5239about the same in decibels, but it’s a deeper, more bass sound.
Not much, just a deeper tone

the damn thing was barely even revved
Looks better But Sounds for me its the Same 🤷🏽♂️
What makes these better than the stock?
Looks and sound
The engine was off for literally more than half of the video.
Is it louder than inline 4
No, this exhaust is not loud, just a deeper tone than stock.
yes if you put it on an inline 5
1200€ y suena exactamente igual que el original. No merece la pena
il fait moins de bruit que l'original🤭

True dat
I this case You are wrong. On the SSS its only the tips. has no effect whatsoever more or less HP
It's called a reflash or get a power commander. You can't just put a slip on on a liter bike.
I had a GSXR600 and put a shorty M4 slip on and noticed it lost power. So sluggish I refitted the stock can.
Your supposed to partner exhaust systems with tunes even if it was a full system
How much was the slip on?
Putting anythin other than Termignoni on Ducati’s is a crime!!!
Why?
@@omarleonrey3459 Just a joke since termignoni is italian ;)
No Termi for the 950…yet
@@andrewsulgit9831 it literally has existed since 2017. No full system afaik, but this is a slip on video. Anyway, it was a joke

What year is your bike ?
2020
Has the stitching frayed on the seat yet?
Wow that was fun.
Nice
one munite o silence for 30' of sound....
Sounds awful and there's only Euro5 to blame
Bi cylinder
Hate Euro 5
just install a full exhaust. In my town there are bunch of old bikes with aftermarket exhausts, no cats and they never get in trouble for it.
@@abyedrikn Would rather not spend 2k to need to go then get a tune. I'll just leave it stock, sounds exactly the same as this.
That fear band... U start riding?
Show👍🏻👍🏻
I realize I'm pretty off topic but do anyone know of a good website to watch newly released series online?
@Tate Albert i would suggest flixportal. Just google for it :)
@Curtis Harlem thank you, I went there and it seems like a nice service :D Appreciate it!
@Tate Albert happy to help xD
