I grew up in that city 40+ years ago. Something to understand - it's like a big village, and everyone's related. Every cop there knows that he's probably facing off with his cousin's best friend's wife or something. Besides, for a Dagestani of any Caucasus man it is unimaginable to engage in a physical confrontation with a woman, even if the woman (rightfully, in this case) is getting in his face. Sad, tragic days. Those cops need to realize that they are serving the wrong master.

You're asking for a lot in an authoritarian nation. This is Dagestan. There's a long history of dislike and distrust of Moscow there.

We have and so much time even before this mobilisation but for a reason and I don’t know which one you didn’t broadcast that, stop blaming our people, you have no rights to do that, you weren’t here, you weren’t one of us!

@@unknown98217 Dagestan has been a part of Russia for a long time now, they are technically Russian. Do you know how many areas like that with their own variants of ethnicity make up Russia? It's a big place. If you were to say 'they're not Russian, they're Yakuts etc etc you'd be left with very little land that's 'Russia' as you picture it.
