In Russian if you protest against the war it’s a prison sentence, if you call it a “War” on social media or in public it’s a prison sentence, if you resist the conscription it’s a prison sentence, if you disobey an order to fight in Ukraine it’s prison sentence, if you surrender to Ukrainian forces when you are returned to Russia it’s a prison sentence; that’s why they are leaving.
The writing is on the wall: Once the iron curtain closes, all of Russia will be a prison. This will greatly simplify the logistics of incarceration. At least one logistical problem Russia knows how to deal with…
Sorry for the cynicism. My heart is with the Ukrainian people these days, but I wouldn't want to be Russian either.
And if more than half of the population stands up and protests, what will they do? Lock everyone up? Half the country?
Ukraine have text men they will house them in prisons for the duration of the war if they surrender and not telling how they surrendered at least Ukrainian prisons are safer than Russian. If they fight or kill Ukrainian civilians they have promised they will face a war crimes trial.

I wouldn’t be too sure about that if it’s Russian prison what we’re talking about.
@@alfchuah If you can call rotten food a meal, sure.
It's funny that only now they leave or protest, and not from the begining. Now that they might have to fight.
It's not funny at all, it's the sign of a degenerated society.
Yeah, everyone in Russia is apolitical until THEY get drafted. Then suddenly they become very interested in Russian politics.
Wow! That's sad 😔 displace them from their own country .
Draft is not the same as mobilization, reservists are not the same as conscripts.
Russia has a mandatory military service rule if you don't go to higher education academies so pretty much everyone is considered a soldier, which means yes they are conscripts. This aren't actual reservists as you'd see in Europe, they are people forcefully made into reservists
These men should be fighting against Putin.
Shouldn't you?
OK, armchair warrior.
No matter what they choose to do, they'll have consequences. It's easy to say what one should or shouldn't do, when you aren't faced with that choice, but to do it is entirely different. Hopefully something positive happens soon so no more have to suffer from this war, but I doubt it.
We are called to take a stand. If all people refused to fight, there would have not been any wars. No one should be required or forced to fight anybody's chosen wars. NO ONE! "I have put before you Life and Death. Choose LIFE, so you may live." Old Testament Scripture.
Suddenly, the war becomes very real to many Russians . Easy enough to play the tough guy act when the war is happening in another country fought by others. But now they face the possibility to be sent to front, not the same refrain
If the men leave does he then have the women fight in the war?
Equality is only wanted when there is an advantage for women.
The people who are leaving are not even 20% of the Russian population. There will be plenty of men left in Russia.
"When I look into Putins 👁 💀 👁 eyes I see the KGB/NKVD/Cheka/FSO/FSB/XYZ/GRU and East German STASI too." Republican Senator John McCain
Odd.. when I look into his eyes it just reminds me of my ex. 👀🤮
For many others he was "true democrat" or "genius"....
@@someoneout-there2165 You should reconsider your taste. lol
For the whole time during the video there was huge smile on my face. Lots of love to valiant Russian people protesting and ukraninas from India. Slava Ukraine 🇺🇦

They only began to protest when the war reached their doorstep. Sad, they should have taken accountability for their government years ago.
President Putin should send his daughter and his son-in-law to the front line fight for the war too.
