The flavacol works best in a salt shaker, and then I keep the open carton inside a gallon ziplock to keep it from clumping. I've had the same carton for 2 years, and it's not even half empty.
I heard making popcorn in your airfryer is dangerous. It won't cook well as most models won't reach the required temperature to pop the kernels. Popcorn kernels can also become lodged within the air fryer's heating element, which may cause the appliance to short creating a fire hazard.
I agree that popcorn doesn’t seem like it would be 100% safe. You might get away with it a number of times, but then a piece gets caught in the heating element and possibly catches on fire. Also it might be light enough to get blown around and up into the element as well. I’d suggest skipping this one for most air fryer models or at least be aware of the potential dangers. But I appreciate the ingenuity! 😊
The easiest popcorn ever - 1/3 c unpopped corn put into a paper lunch bag. Fold over the top so that it fits in your microwave. Pop on high for 2 minutes. Remove the bag and empty the popped kernels into a bowl. Put the bag with any unpopped kernels back into the microwave for another 2 minutes. Listen for the popping to slow down and remove the bag from the microwave. Dump your popped kernels into your bowl. I usually salt and butter my popcorn after each popping session. If you want, add more unpopped kernels after the first session, add them after you remove the popped kernels from the bag. If you want it plain or with just Brewer's Yeast, you don't have to worry about added calories from any oil.
I have to use a rack on top of anything light, like bread, bacon, cheese, pepperoni or it flies all over and hits the heating element and burns and smoke. I definitely won't be trying any popcorn 😂
You just use what you have. Do not stress over it. I have 2 different branded airfryers, one back in NZ and the other in Thailand and neither are fancy but they do most things just fine.
Thank you for this nice video, but I find the title a bit clickbait as I didn't learn much new information. Merci pour cette vidéo sympathique mais je trouve le titre un peu raccoleur car je n'ai pas appris grand chose de nouveau.
These are excellent tips - thank you.! Seeing you steam the broccoli was a real eye opener.

The popcorn that she showed certainly don’t look under popped giving me a quantity of popcorn she added to the air fryer

I don't own air fryer, but may one day.
What if you don’t have your kind of air fryer?
