S4 is definitely great, this is a GTS which was a further improvement on the S4 aesthetically and mechanically. This one is a manual too which is the ultimate 928 spec for many
You’re welcome! And thank YOU for watching. We’re going to try and feature more of the products and techniques to expand out videos, so this is great to hear that we’re going in the right direction
@@IAMDetailing Yes in deed! And you're welcome. As soon as I refresh my BMW Z3 I'm going send it to you guys for a detail. You guys do impeccable work 👌🏽😎💯
One of my favorite Porsche's of that era. I wish I had acted on a chance to buy one of these machines for $25,000 years ago. Their values have went way up. One of the best more modern day Porsche Grand Touring cars. And with that powerful and smooth V8 engine. Very nice job on your detail too. The car looks back to as it should. That leather restoration was amazing also. It brought those seats back to looking like factory. I was really impressed with that repair.
These videos are so well done. Old black Porsche paint can be a nightmare and your crew just jumps right in. Good vibe in that place. Wish I lived closer.
Freaking amazinz Job guys, as usual! This is one of my childhood's dream car. A rare beast in my country at that time. Keep going and bring us more stuff like this, please!!! Greetings from Spain!
This reminds me of my favorite Lexus LS400 with a red interior, I always loved a 1990 Lexus LS400 with a red interior, especially with the black paint and gold badging.
That is some amazing detail work, a lot of men hours and a lot of extras, touch up paint, dent repair. That should not be cheap. Some pointers though. I would never detail the interior after the exterior, you can mess up easy. First i wash the car with a two bucket, there is no reason to use a foam cannon and blow dry the paint when it is in such a bad shape, you could never make it worse than it already is, then inspect the paint for defects, clean the interior, do the exterior. When I check the paint i look for dents and paint chips or some scratches and ask the owner of the car if he wants to repair those defects, If he wants to I do those and then do the correction. I do not repair paint chips after applying the ceramic coat, it makes no sense. Also the leather repair was nice but the color was a little off, but it was so much better than before, but it shows it was repaired. But all in all and incredible and labor intensive job.
This car has the bowed out GTS strip at the back - like so many do - difficult to fix. The rear bumperettes are quite easy to remove - probably quicker than masking them out and makes that area easier to deal with. Fantastic job on the paint, interior, engine and underneath. very impressed - How long did this whole process take?
Looks like it would be a sensory over-load in real life (makes me wish I was there to smell the interior!). That car is going to turn heads, that's for sure.
Hello there, great video as always. One question i have, is, the dilution of Koch GSF, to get that thick foam. I also use it, but in the 30ml per liter as per instructions, i dont get that thick of a foam. Thanks in advance
Gorgeous transformation on a beautiful classic, well done! Just curious how you liked that thick, slick ceramic coating compared to the other brands you use? Also, was the passenger door and rear hatch repainted, as I thought I saw some waves in the paint? Doesn’t really matter, she looks stunning! 👍🇨🇦
It’s depend on paint, type of damage that needs touchup and the situation. Mostly, we use single stage paint for touchup, and from previous experience the coating messed up the touch ups a little bit, so we are usually doing it as a last step, especially if it’s not big chip/scratch. There is not much difference to do before or after coating.
Since there was previously some paint work done, we had to be careful with each panel, but the paint was fairly soft so it wasn’t that bad to work with
Unbelievable!!!!!!!
Came out pretty good, eh?
@@IAMDetailing you guys are amazing!!! The very BEST!
Beautiful job guys :) I don't care what anyone says, the Porsche 928s4 is one of the most gorgoeus cars ever made.

928GTS are worth this kind of investment....Superb job as usual and thanks for the written details about products used .

Such a beautiful car, especially the GTS! I’ve always loved the 928 because it’s different. Awesome job on the detailing!
This is one of the best looking Porsches ever designed in my opinion. Top 5 for sure! 💯
It’s such a “different” looking car that will stand out among the rest forever
Thanks for watching!

Remarkable results. I've never seen any detailing quite like this. Well done.
Possibly the best interior color of any Porsche!

What an iconic classic Porsche. Still one of the best designed exteriors and interiors ever made.
Speechless!!!
Great job on great car guys!!!!!
I wish my '88 928s4 Black/black look's like this.
Flawless content again guys, looking forward to the next one!!
We really appreciate hearing that Mike! Make’s it all super rewarding 💪🏼
One of the finest cars Porsche ever made and probably my favourite 😎👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧❤️
Best detailing channel .
It must be great being the owners of these cars.. how satisfying to have video documentation of your cars transformation.
That’s a huge reason why we do it! It helps to know how much effort goes in to it
My favorite Porsche model... Thanks for the vid guys

Epic… unbelievable work man ship… well done 👍
And no treatment to the wheels, tires, rims, or breaks! Missed it boys!

Amazing work! Big fan…

OUTSTANDING!!!
Freaking phenomenal! Your videography is great, but your car work is out of this world!

Spectacular!

Still beautiful, the Porsche was really 20 years ahead.
Fantastic work ! Well done!
I have a Black 928s4 with a olive interior. I have only seen a couple Blk/Burgundy
Wow, just wow!
Awesome job guys, well done.
Even if it’s not a 911 flat 6 still a great product from Zuffenhausen that you brought nicely back to standard
Keep on going
Thank you Francis! We’re going to do just that 💪🏼
Great work.
Cleaning the shark! 🦈
Why is there no ❤️ button in UA-cam yet?
Great job.
Fantastic!!
Como mola el interior burdeos!gran trabajo!
picking one up this week!
Nice. Tinted windows are in order, otherwise one shakes and bakes with the hot sun coming through.
Oh how many sunburns I've got on roadtrips from the nice slanted windows

Great eye Alan! Thanks! 2-3days dry ice
3-4days for the rest I believe
@@IAMDetailing what is dry ice?
Amazing!
So the seats were cleaned/restored without taking them out of the car? Also no steam cleaning of the dash & door panels?

ive watched a lot of your videos and i wonder why do you touch up the paint after the coating?

I remember that Tom Cruise used to drive one of these 928 in the Risky Business.
I forgot about that!
@@IAMDetailing looks like you already know which movie you're going to watch this evening
Paint correction means polishing by compounds?
That Interior is gorgeous, great job on that correction! How was the paint to work with?

How did he repair that leather seat?
Came out perfect… business as usual. 😎👊🏻🔨
On a side note, who owns that Volvo station wagon and will you be working on it?
Thanks Joe!
I do believe we’ll be getting a volvo video going here soon 😉
@@IAMDetailing Looking forward to it. 😎👊🏻
imagine getting a new car back !
MERVEILLEUXXXXXXXXXXXX
How much does it cost for the job?
😍
Wow.
How much would a job like this typically cost??? For a 928 GTS it’s probably worth it!
Great detail, but I just can't get past that interior color. I can't believe that was even an option. Mauve? Dusty Rose? It did clean up nice though.
Purple interior? WTH? The car looks fantastic....outside🤣
I feel like there might have been some illicit substances in use by the Porsche engineers during these days lol
@@IAMDetailing I guess the interior catalog is as wild as the exterior
what is the cost for this type detail? i have a 2007 kia sportage with 200,000 miles that i'm planning to sell
🧢
I'll take it
Looks like this 928 lost 15 years of yuck in a few hours. Awesome job wooooo😳
👍👍👍🔥
Dope….. risky business iconic car……

Jealous of the manual transition. But I do have factory purple interior matching purple exterior. You wont see many of those.

Nice job although not as rare as a GT
Ez work .......
💣💣💣💣
Nice but the interior color doesnt sit well with me if it was mine I would do it black
To each their own!
Прівет, с України
this is just awesome, if this car had a black interieur , that would be even better....the purple is not for every taste.....
Horrible background music. But still a thumbs up.
Great job. My favorite car of all time but that interior color should be illegal. Ruins a beautiful car
Soul destroying music
Great job, great car but what an ugly interior😮
