Thank you so much bro. 2nd video I’ve used to fix something. 2015 Nissan Versa note here. Not an easy fix at all but wasn’t TOO bad. Hardest part was unhooking the hoses from the bottom.. no way I could have done it without sliding under the car (barely fit). My problem was a/c would stop blowing cold/ car overheating at stop lights.. everything was normal while driving though. Fan speed was very weak when I checked under the hood. All problems fixed now! Thanks again!
Just want to give a huge THANK YOU for this video! I was able to follow the steps and complete the repair in about 3 hours. I've never changed my own battery, so this was a big job for me. I ordered the part on amazon and it showed up next day. Thank you again for your help...no way I could've done it without the tutorial!
Great video. Helped me get started. The Nissan I worked on had hoses clipped to the bottom of the fan and I could not reach them from the top. I had to jack the car up to unclip them, pull the old fan out and then reclip the hoses once the new fan was in place. Now I know why the shops wanted $700 for this work.
This tutorial video helped me out a lot. The hardest part of the process is removing the fan out of the engine bay and reinstalling it back in while ensuing all hoses fittings connected. Appreciate for sharing!
Thank you so much for making this video, I needed to replace the fan on my 2015 Versa Note and this step by step video helped me do it. Thanks dude, couldn't have done it without you.
I have a 2014 versa note. My ac stopped working at an idle and the temp started rising. I'm pretty sure it's the actual fan. Did you try the relay first? Or did you know it was the fan itself? Thank you
Beautiful! I found the right video for my daughter's car after watching your video for the Versa. Had no idea you have so much content. Will definitely like and subscribe since she is young and dad will probably be doing most of her repairs until she is able to afford the expense of a non-family member mechanic.
For anyone having trouble removing the radiator on a 2015: The two oil lines (I think its ATF fluid?) do NOT need to be removed, they can simply be pulled away from the radiator without undoing any clips. If you remove these lines then you will drain ATF fluid
Changed radiator motor. Tried turning on car. Would not start. Battery was fine. Went on internet. Found this is common and everyone pointed to TCM reset. Easy to do. Turn car to on, then off, then on, then off, then on, then off. Three times. Then try turning it on. Also found out car will go into this failsafe mode if you try to turn it on while hood is open. Opening the hood while the car is on will also trip the failsafe and you will need to reset the TCM. Must be a way to work on this car with the hood open and motor running but for my part, which was changing a $70 fan and saving my friend $700, that is as far as I wanted to play with this car.
Hello Friend, thanks for the video, do you mind sharing what made you change the fan ? was it completely dead, car over heating or some A/C issues, not cooling while idling ?
Hey good video, I just did an engine swap for my aunt on a 2015 note s. The car was in a mild front end crash a few years ago and she just kept driving it. We are finding out now that her engine failed from overheating from the fan not working likely from the wreck. After the swap I a new fan in and it is only coming on with the ac turned on. Do you have any idea what the turn on point is for the fan to kick in with the ac of. Monitoring LD it was up to 205 and still had not kicked on. We generally do not do automotive we are a GSE shop for the airport but I am doing this as a favor to my aunt. Any help you can send would be great. Looking for the turn on point of the fan w/ac off and some ideas of why it would work w/ac on and not with it off. Thanks
Dullah Goso hard Yeah I’ll try again tomorrow, I did let it idle for 30 minutes or so this morning but it only got up to 206. I guess I figured it would kick on by then and I panicked a bit knowing the previous engine failed from overheating. Thanks for the response.
Thanks for the assist on this, it helped out immensely. Just a quick question, after install, the car didn’t start for about 1 hour, then it started and shows transmission symbol on dash. Any ideas?
You probably tried to turn the car on while the hood was open. This trips some kind of failsafe and you have to reset the TCM by turning the car to on and off, three times. Then it will start. I ran into this too. Very annoying.
Hi friend. tell me nissan note 2016 year, how to translate consumption in miles to kilometers on the dashboard, and temperature from faringates in Celsius ??
I have a 2014 versa note. The cooling fan just quit working. My ac stops working at an idle. Did you try the relay first or did you know it was the fan? Just trying to narrow it down. Thank you. I hit the sub button as well
I have a Nissan Note 2013 where the car vibrates when the fan comes on I can feel a mild vibration on the steering what do think the issue would be and how do I solve it?
I’d never done this type of project before and it took me about 6 hours, that’s with identifying the problem first and going to auto parts store several times.
I attempted this on my versa note 2015. When I tried to remove the fan there was 2 hoses clamped to the fan at the bottom. I couldn't get them off. Any help?
Check your battery because even with the fan out of the car they car will still start and drive you probably unplug something try checking the wiring if the battery is good and also scan for code
I took my 2015 Nissan Versa into a a Goodyear integrity tire shop and they want to charge me $800. To replace my radiator fan, but they are trying to fuck me with claiming that my car battery is bad. They really tried to force me into replacing it. I TOOK The battery to Autozone where I bought it and they tested As Good. So WTF!? Isn't $$800$$ enough I think they fucked up something else and trying to blame it in a "bad battery ".

Bunch of lies. Most is right, but the fan plugs do not just slide out. Each one is locked in differently. Both have a toggle lock. Top one is on the top and bottom one is on the bottom.

What about getting the plastic piece off bumper? I can't seem to get the clips undone. It's already off in the beginning of the video

Thank you. Can you please do one for a Versa radiator replacement
I need to replace the radiator should i do the same process or should i remove the bumper completely to make it easier?

You probably have to drive it and get it to the operating temperature so the computer can tell the fan to come on

Make sure you reconnect the ground wire when you put the car back together.. that’s likely why some of y’all can’t start after changing your fan lol

On ur Nissan Versa note? If so can u let me know how?
I have a Nissan Note 2013 where the car vibrates when the fan comes on I can feel a mild vibration on the steering what do think the issue would be and how do I solve it?
If it's the fan that cause it to vibrate yes but you might want to double check to make sure the vibration coming from the fans
Yo papa you missed that the left bonnet rubber fell down in the front panel of the car it nah go lock good. Or it might vibrate at high speeds
How long does it take from start to finish to remove the fan and install a new one?
Its all up to the experience you have
