All 3 members were incredible musicians that gelled together. No one gives Krist enough credit. So much personality and catchy baselines

I do, Ive always seen it. Tell his wife she's lucky she got to him first, bcuz I'd have been all over that, guy... in a nice, decent way, lol. He's amazingly talented, and, if I could just have some of Krist's "chill" (and self- confidence). Chilled at being poor, chilled at being rich. Maybe that extra height gives a guy some kind of extra confidence to know that no matter what, they can often reach what other ppl cant, and they'll probably always be useful for something good to someone, and if I can just play dat bass, gotta have that bass. He's a happy man. That's not to say that shorter men are not as valuable, they can do things that tall men can't. Tall and chill just works for Krist and who he is.
Krist and Pat Smear have such good chill. Fun chill. Happy Pat. Easy going. Seen some shit, but always rock steady like Krist.
Eventually you get back around to -they're both awesome muscians, and bands always need some genuinely, uniquely chill bookends with talent. Nirvana wldn't be Nirvanas without Kirst and adding Pat was definately going to compliment the whole group. He def earned his spot when it became permanent.
Kurt had the worst kind of stomach issues in the world. Unpredictable, can't "enjoy" food and eventually even chocolate milk and shakes cause revolt. Pain, nausea. Hard to manage the world when you're not getting all 60 vitamins and vital trace minerals. He cld order the best food by gourmet Chefs in 5 star hotels but there's always the possibility its gonna make him feel much worse after eating, than when he was hungry. Its hard to fake feeling good so often. Very good money couldn't get him in front of the right Doctor... and if it did he may have been judged, not helped. Or seen as a cash cow to milk for awhile for money or clout.
Modern medicine drags out the cure to make the most money they can. Our food in medicine is currently screwed.
The Hippocratic Oath seems non-existent. ("First do no harm..." ) Docs rarely admitt they don't know or cant fix it. Sometimes they try and only make things worse. Sometimes the cure is only temporary. Having your sromach removed is never a great option when & if it comes down to that. I don't know that that's what happened with Kurt but when it doesn't get resolved that's often the end solution. The elites keep a lot of the best and safest cures for themselves and their own kind. Even stomach or gut removal, if it comes to that, will bring a new set of problems, demands and sacrifices. Constant risk of sepsis at the site, on and on.
So, Kurt had the worst kind of stomach probs, and btw, he's not a sell out for wanting to head toward easier pop rock, or even poke acoustic genres and songs, Please understand that the screaming and anxt that Grunge requires took its toll. He had the worst stomach, BUT he had great writing, singing and guitar skills. Plus all things considered, a good personality and most of all, he had excellent best friends. Great friends and co-muscians probably helped him tolerate the bad digestion and self-medicating hell he ended up with, for as long as he could. Idk. There's so much we'll never know. But when food, mortal substinance becomes the enemy. You've got big probs. Big probs. Kurt had both the best and the worst of many things. But none of you would have traded places with that stomach and digestive hell. Not even for money, not even for fame. Health is your greatest asset. Trust me.
PS. I'll know this is long, but I just have to add this... As far as Francis, he may have been worried his (self confessed) neuroticism was going to rub off on her, and mess up her stomach too if she was predisposed. If stomach problems aren't straightened out perfectly and early on, it's just a roller coaster of hell. I'm not saying he's any kind of hero, but when people try that exit, if they're capable of truly loving, and Kurt was, it's usually because they're afraid they're going to hurt the ones they love the most.

0:05 That "intro" is literally a disco breakbeat !
There's even an interview where Dave talks about it.

@@areamusicale Tony Thompson does a normal "flam-kick" thing, dave puts the hi hat and the kicks in the middle, it's not literally the same thing, any drummer knows that

@@gustavovieira7708 I wish I had that clip where Dave talks about it ...
The only "difference" in the break-beat I am talking about is that the original is made with a keyboard, the other one by drums (Dave also slightly opens the hi-hat while playing it; the original is rather bland).
