In my opinion i would slow down on the tech side of the house and make it more of a home by buying 'home stuff' such as blinds/curtains, beds, wardrobes etc. you get my drift :)

I thought the same thing but if u look at that part of the video u can see the sun actually goes straigght through the window onto that wall so he would have to put it on the oppossite end

The reason why the grass died, was a stupid mistake by Luke and Alex. One of them decided that it was a good idea to mow the grass. When infact on a new lawn you are supposed to let the grass root, which means letting the grass grow. The lawn that they use in new builds are often cheap seed meaning that they need longer than a high quality lawn.

In your office, there is that little awkward corner. Board that off to make a 90° corner, cut a hole into the landing where the corner is and display your computer there but you can still use it while your in your office. It is like the server room in your old bedroom.

He's a very clever kid. You might not want to hear that if you're jealous but he's a nerd when it comes to gadgets and computer stuff. I have nephew who has aspergers but since he was 12 he was an ebay tycoon. He brought and traded things growing up and now he's really well off because he could just obsess over it

hi Alex liked the video, move your big tv away from window before you lose it!! as you are not there all the time. love the layout, nice house, you have lots of inspiration, the smallest room arching into the bigger one, looks nice tidy workspace. good space in the kit/diner/lounge, folding doors are awesome, if putting the hot tub behind the garage a path along side of the garage, my cloakroom is also big one, the hall is a meter cupboard with fusebox, put a shoe rack in the bottom, fit some coat hangers and a shelf for hats scarfs and gloves. workbench in garage is always useful, as unless you drive a mini wont get car in it, Uk has a lot to learn about sizing of a garage and what they are used for.
Doesn't matter if you have a mansion or small house, it's yours and you've worked hard to get it... And that inspires me a lot

Hey Alex, a good cinema room uses surround sound and a projector, and blackout curtains. Plus if you did go the projector route, the screen would pull down and cover the window it would block that window, which currently stops you from mounting that tv on the wall.
It genuinely is a nice house, modern, nice size and clean. Obviously he hasn’t finished, but over the next few months things will progress, the technology will look tidy and flush. This house has great potential, and I can definitely see it happening with Alex over time

Dylan Muller that's is why he shouldn't have made the video because the house is bearly finished yet he called it a "full house" which is why it is contrite and slighty clickbait. He should have given the vid another name because with all the "projects" he'll do in this house as well will be half arsed for a while also as he didn't even want to do anything in the house yet he has just began already because he felt forced by his fans in the comments to star. So technically we have caused this issue and you can tell alex is very stressed.
fair enough, but full house tour doesn't necessarily mean the house is complete. he was just trying to give everyone a sense of what each room looked like and what each room would be used for....i have personally taken my friends on a tour pf my house long before i even started moving furniture or anything into it....just so they knew what the house looked like and what each room was for

Open up the wall in the lounge near the hallway so you can see towards the garden. And put black sliding doors in there. Great for an upcoming cinema room and it will create so much more space. Btw: Love what u have done with the house!

My only advice should be to install a small rack in the boilerroom where you could install something like a Homey orso to get some more home automation going and possible switching from that single space.

Alex - I used Blinds2Go for some amazing white wooden slatted blinds. Get the wide ones as they look better. Really easy to fit, bright and airy to go with your overall look and feel and it will also help to protect your awesome gadgets. Gives your house some extra security. D

Your downstairs toilet in the house I think you will find it’s built with wheelchair users in mind. You should find that door and maybe other downstairs doors are a tiny bit wider than the standard door again for wheelchair access.

if you're gonna get a larger patio, get astroturf - its expensive but a lot less maintenence

Nice house. Bit sparten, but you are just starting out and things will appear as and when. As for the TV, I reckon it's way too high when sitting down - bit of a pain in the neck for extended viewing. Ideally the middle of the screen should be level with your eyes.
Probably next is a surround sound system. Tip: Angle the Kef's in a little, to improve stereo image.
