Yeah, that's a great idea! Imagine what they would sound like after proper rehearsals and more work put into the overall sound and production. This could be one hell of a semi-cover band.
It's obvious that Corey, John and Fred are having a great time but Mikey is enjoying himself just as much as these guys. Great performance, I'd love it if something more came out of this jam.
Mikes voice has been 40 years consistent and Corey sounds like old school Roth but with the precision Roth never had. I'd kill for couple of off shows where Taylor joins the circle to jam some old school VH with Hagar
While God & his brother figure out there next move, I would pay to see this. Outstanding...Saw Ed & Roth on Jump tour 84' One the greatest live shows ever...
For all the Roth haters out there . If you ever bashed Dave you were never a true Van Halen fan. Van Halen was Dave,Ed,Mike and Alex period. End of story. Would Led Zeppelin be the same band if the singer from Air Supply replaced Robert Plant? FUCK NO!!
I agree sounds good but lots of singers sound good. The spirit of van Halen with Roth is why we as are even listening to this.. nothing will ever compare to DLR. I mean come on. I heard heart do stairway to heaven and kill it. Plant couldn't do that today..its the band Van Halen we love..and let's face it without DLR it wouldn't be the same.
I can´t tolerate Corey Taylor music, it´s surprsingly irrelevant, like he got stuck in the late 90´s/00 scene but i got to say his voice has a great versatility. He can emulate whatever he wants like Roth in this case. He needs to be in a major band or with new talented mucisians to develop better his voice talent. John 5 it´s an extremely overrated guitarist IMO. Never liked very much with the exception on those David Lee Roth Band interventions.
@Richard Skipper His vocal "clean" tone it's really remarkable! I'm still remember him paying tribute on Chris Cornell(there's some vids there on YT) and thinking wow! this guy has something more interesting that screaming in that joke called SlipkShit and those generic Stone Sour... He could be amazing in a great major band or doing some alternative stuff like Mark Lanegan with his raspy voice.
@@toms4442 I heard his solo stuff some things works for me, some other's NOT lol! I like him playing with another people, I find his solo stuff too excessive in weirdness & wankery and not too much into composition as people like Plini, Govan, Nick Johnston..just to mention a few.I didn't listen that stuff with Halford so thanks for the recommendation bro!
Corey just like mike patton and phil anselmo reincarnation. But i agree with u, he need to make a new project. I mean, c'mon he need heavy metal and thrash metal band 😌 he need some real metal band!
Mike Anthony should take this band on tour and do VH “covers”, they sound great.
Yeah, that's a great idea! Imagine what they would sound like after proper rehearsals and more work put into the overall sound and production. This could be one hell of a semi-cover band.
Yeah, especially if they got a drummer who could sing along with Michael Anthony.
@@stanknugget They might be able to get Deen Castronovo...
FFUUUCCCKKKK YYYEEEAAAHHHH!!!!!
I was thinking the exact same thing.
It's obvious that Corey, John and Fred are having a great time but Mikey is enjoying himself just as much as these guys. Great performance, I'd love it if something more came out of this jam.
JOHN5 keeping the 70's Alive!
Haha...he was born in '71
Michael Werbick but he loves the 70s greats like Van Halen and kiss , he’s incredible love watching him play
i think is not about when you were born, it`s about how do you sound : )
Mikes voice has been 40 years consistent and Corey sounds like old school Roth but with the precision Roth never had.

Hell yeah!
Van Halen’s show in 2015 wasn’t even close to this.
I’ll buy this all day long.
Super awesome 👍👍🤘🏿🤘🏿
REAL PROFESSIONAL musicians at its best. None of that lip syncing that u see nowadays. Great song, great performance.
Sound quality is awesome
I would totally love to see this live...be one of THE best concerts of the great Pandemic...I mean 2020. Music studs right here.
more...need more of this....this is awesome
While God & his brother figure out there next move, I would pay to see this. Outstanding...Saw Ed & Roth on Jump tour 84' One the greatest live shows ever...
Always been a John5 fan, Loved the Roth/Hagar eras of VH, and now,I think Corey Taylor has great vocal chops. Gonna check out more Stone Sour stuff.
Also the front man of slipknot
John 5 is so precise, my idol. He has made myself an amazing player but man is he so damn good.
These Van Halen jams sounded surprisingly really really good. Thanks for sharing
Im liking this...a lot.
John 5 always kicking ass. Eddie would be proud or....jealous Haha
HE WOULD DEFINITELY BE JEALOUS PROBABLY CALLING HIS LAWYER NOW TO SUE MIKE AND CORY!
I don't think Ed would be jealous. John 5's tone is shit.
Really Respectable and a kick-Ass version these guys did! tone raven
damm.. the people who got to see this.. hear this..lol.. live... lucky fucks..
Only by the magic of John 5 could this have worked out as well as it did.
Shawn T. Bell incredible guitar player
Man.. I can dig it.. I'd go to this show I'm a second..
Sounds awesome
Uh, okay!!! This is Badass 👌💪
John 5 was a guitarist of DLR band, which means that he played classic VH songs live a lot.
That's so cool.
Look how happy John 5 is!
Who would have thought, any of these guys jamming with the drummer from Cinderella..
It's cool, right
John5 really nailed every note
Zig Zag yes he did
Awesome!
Way too tru 🤟✌️👌🤙🤝👍🙏💪🤘
Better job then vh in 2015
by a MILE vocally. corey taylor sounds great here
Phil Moore And no videos of DLR’s dogs prancing through the hills during the show.
It’s good to hear the Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!! Again made the songs rock!!!
Michael Anthony really missed playing these songs.
You can feel the energy on the stage! These guys are monster musicians, still my fingers are crossed for a Van Halen reunion tour....
@@robertburks2187 :-/
I'd really like to have a beer with Michael Anthony one day and just talk about stuff.
Same! But I would also want to share a bottle of Jack Daniels with him!
awesome
Them guys were looking like they were having to much fun.
That fucking bass tone! Absolutely killer.
One hell of a bass rig.
John 5 is one sick, bad-ass MF'er! He is so fluid, crisp and flawless in his playing. From what I understand, he is one cool dude too.
No need to practice, you knocked it out of the park!
John 5 💥💥🔥🔥🎸
I'd buy tickets right now. Take my money!
I agree
THESE GUYS SHOULD GO ON THE ROAD FULL TIME.
John 5 rules.

Fred Coury kicks ass on the drums!
I might get some hate for this but I would really like to see John 5 and Wes Borland play together. Especially both dressed up.
When are they hitn the eastcoast ?
🎸🔥👏🏆
hell yea LLLOL
I was waiting for corey to do a flying split and it would have been complete!!!
John 5 sweet
Michael looks pretty good for his age.
Again vocal coaches / critics never those on stage will have that "ese don" or gift that David Lee Roth has
I miss the Jack Daniel's bass

He sang better than Roth
Corey Daves better than Dave WTF!

Come agree with you more on Corey Taylor! Disagree with you about John 5, check out the two album he did with Rob Halford! Or any of his solo albums!
