So you’re concerned about your gums bleeding when you brush your teeth. My name is Dr Neeta Patel and I would like to give you some tips to help resolve this problem for you.

Bleeding gums can be painful and sore in some cases. It is no fun brushing your teeth and spitting out blood. When teeth are maintained well by visiting the dentist and hygienist regularly this problem can be resolved.
We can show you how to brush and floss effectively and explain how to prevent further bleeding from happening. Bleeding gums can also exacerbate other health conditions such as diabetes or heart problems.
We recommend that you brush your teeth at least twice a day, morning and night. Like our Facebook Page / dentalcosmeticsherts an electric toothbrush can be very helpful. Cleaning in between your teeth with floss or interdental brushes is also important.
Build up of plaque and tartar on the teeth is the main cause of gum disease and by removing this regularly you are more likely to keep your teeth for life. Follow us on twitter / @dentalcozmetics
