I'm currently working on a new one set in a new "zombie genre" world which sits somewhere between these and The Walking Dead but is my own content. It's 10 years since we made this and I know that there's much that can be improved.
D. B. Cooper working on it right now. Had hoped to shoot some of it in January but its gonna be a big undertaking so I want to sharpen the script as much as I can before shooting. Started gathering props etc and seeking brilliant people to work on it. All will be well 😃🎬
I think if there were able to do so it would have to start a month or so before the out break and it would have to center on more then one group of people
I think if there were able to do so it would have to start a month or so before the out break and it would have to center on more then one group of peopl but I could see it happen
I'm really glad this mini-series exists. Also it's really nice to see the rage virus from the soldiers perspective too, because in 28 Days later you don't get to see much of the British army. or is that just me?.. oh well love this series mate.
Too few TV series, movies and videogames show us how the military is handling the outbreaks. I don't get it why, because I find those scenes to be the most interesting ones. I guess they are finally understanding that people want to see military versus zombies/infected scenes since the new Netflix series, *All of us are dead* featured few pretty cool scenes where the Korean Special Forces were cleaning up places and fighting against the infection in different ways.
@@whathappenswhen3017 Yeah me too mate, sorry it took me this long to reply. I didn't receive a notification which is why it took me this long to even answer sorry about that. I have heard a lot about that series so might have to check it out at some point.
Wow 16 years and it’s still here still just cool as I remember. I’m really looking forward to 28 years later coming out theaters next year. Did the film makers of 28 days later ever reach out to you? Do you plan on revisiting this project?
There's only 1 error in this film,at 1.57 the Ford Focus's tax disc reads 05 05 meaning May 2005,when the 28 days later movie, was set in 2002.Still Im overlooking It,as its a superb series& I appreciate the hard work, gone in to making it,happen. One of the best fan films,by far, that I've ever seen in my life.Well done to you.Danny Boyle would be very impressed indeed.
Just watching it you can tell that an endless amount of effort has gone in to this, and with little or no money you did an amazing job! You should be up there with Mr Boyle himself, esp. if you can make a work of art like this :-)
that captain was definitely a very professional, well trained officer. lol his earlier order to get that ambulance workin practically saved everyone's lives

15 years to get this reply. Will it be worth the wait? probably not haha. Yeh, I probably should have thought that out before trying to shoot it. Id got the uniforms from 28 weeks later butt hey never billed me. I blagged the helicopters and the airport for free. We were never actually in a helicopter. They were flying in and out and we just pretended. The cars lying about were crew cars. The ambulance was free. The actors did it for the fun of it. My first film. I had some brass neck back then lol. It cost about £800 in food and transport and other costs. Shot it on my 1st camcorder a canon XL2, with a manual lens which I had. Had some great crew on it. This is based of the 28 Days/Weeks movies and no zombies and the Rage Virus aren't the same, the infected in the 28 Weeks later are infected with the Rage virus while zombies are flesh eating walking corpses.
The infected were still alive they have to die and reanimated liking living dead. That explains a lot such running n jumping zombies. There no way they could do that after bein dead because of Rigamortise factor. . That takes place after being dead for 8 12 hrs
Kick arse mate! I'm so impressed with this - the hard work you put in really shows, not just in the big things (like the helicopter, empty streets, props, etc) but in the classy way it's edited, the look & feel & the great character moments you've got already, just in this episode. If this is the kind of work you are producing then someone in the industry will have to notice! I can't wait for the next episode... so I'm not going to. Gonna watch it right... now!
You've got to look at where the story is regarding changing mags. Is the action worth including on screen in the changing of a mag or is the dramatic chase and shooting of an infected better? If the story was about them running out of ammo then I would have included shots of them with mags changing. Perhaps in your own vision of the same story that would be important but I opted for the action lol. We shot on an XL2 and an XL1S. We also ran on a few handy cams here and there. No cash you see...
I think you did an amazing job! It's difficult enough to create a decent film with some sort of budget, but you guys have done a fantastic job with next to nothing. It would probably be an amazing sequal to 28 Days later, instead of the not-so-amazing 28 weeksn later. I personally think you deserve to be up there with Mr Boyle himself!
