Ah yes, Eddie Murphy's Dr. Dolittle, a "remake" of the Rex Harrison version just as everyone thought it would be! I'm pretty sure these movies have zilch in common beyond basis in the same intellectual property and production studio.
2:17 - "Or be involved with Cats" - As sad as it is that Gene Siskel tragically passed away 20 years ago, I think he would of been glad to avoid what happened with both Cats and Dolittle latest flops.
ALRIGHT, LOOK. I WILL ALWAYS LOVE THE 1998 "DR. DOLITTLE" WITH EDDIE MURPHY, BY THE WAY. I ACTUALLY HAVE BEVERLY HILLS COP 1 & 2 ON VHS MOVIES IN MY BEDROOM CLOSET. SO YEAH. 🙂👍✌️❤️🎥📀📼🎞️🎬🇺🇲🍿⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
He was dying from cancer. That’s why his hair was like that plus you can see and hear that he is talking really slow and it’s very sad he died way too soon at age 53. RIP Gene Siskel.
“The rectal thermometer sequence was HILARIOUS!”

My favorite joke is "CPR? I can't even spell it" and I also love the Eye of the Tiger reference scene! :)
I agree with Ebert
Me too. It's not Murphy's greatest movie but it's a ton of fun! :)

I agree with Siskel.
Siskel hair looks weird here.
