    I know all of this, this was part of our curriculum nung college, Communication Skills 2, this was 2nd year 1st semester. Then nung OJT ko sa SITEL Baguio more on tongue twister and Vowel sounds, pronunciation, how to pronounce correctly the 52 states of america, and numbers and Alphabet, high and low intonations, correct gramar. More on mock calls atvthe end of my internship 😅

    Yeah. Idioms, most of the time, helps with building rapport. For example, what Sheena said about "on the same page" can be used for clarifying customer information.
    "Just to make sure we are on the same page, the order you are referring to is this one?"
    Very useful also for information that you have difficulty hearing like names, transaction numbers, or dates.
    And yes, would be awesome if this has a part two. ❤️

    I think this won't really happen in a call from a customer... If some one call and using an idioms would probably hindrance to the main point of services really meant to be. Anyway, this would help somehow....and person using a slang or dioms is a way of hiding it's true meaning... It's like an HR try say to the applicant to find another career somewhere..technically meaning. You are not qualified.... Same as I call you.

    • @Kwestyon
      @Kwestyon  3 роки тому

      It did happen to me with cup of tea but the cs clarified himself after I was unable to respond. But most of the time, i think you'd understand the meaning once it's used in a sentence. But i wouldn't have guessed it for cats and dogs. Imagine if a customer talks about the weather and she suddenly says it's raining cats and dogs and you suddenly laugh because you think it's a joke. 😊 Same with cold turkey. Daylight robbery though is easy to guess.

    • @josemarieteomale5791
      @josemarieteomale5791 3 роки тому

      @Kwestyon indeed, when a customer or caller uses these parts of speech, perhaps the client doesn't need an Assistance instead chit-chat... --> annoyance. . .
      Sometimes agents proceeds to main issues and so on. Specifically, if the agent has ordained as technical support or receiver of complaint….
      And you did well for the beginners.it has a good out put to tackle, specially nowadays. Slang, pronunciation varies from the origin of languages of a certain person… Furthermore, if you are a pure Filipino and your native language is Tagalog or any local dialect. This definitely difficult for them.
      Kudos
