I got 98/100, but I studied European history and geography in college, and have visited over 100 countries, which is a great way to remember places around the globe! Didn't know Les Bleus and a Chinese dynasty, but some of these questions were ones I had heard before, maybe 10 of them.
@@XavierChavez-k2u I too made dozens of "educated guesses". The thing is, this series helps with such thing as they don't often include deceiving questions/choices for example if they ask about a historical figure from a Latin American country it's often safe to exclude names that doesn't sound Latin and so on!
I got 93, but half of those were (slightly) educated guesses. I guess that means that I "learned" those at some time but couldn't tell you when or how; the answers were just "in there somewhere,"
Only 52/100 but im happy that i got to test my knowledge. Im only 16 right now, but in 10 years i will have studied history in a university and do this quiz again. Then i will score better
TO SIR HARDO, Well done! I am a history PhD and I can tell you at 16 I only knew much history of one country. I would have been lucky to get 10 or slightly more correct then ✔️.
The wonderful thing about history questions is that people pride themselves on knowing every detail of a certain culture and time frame instead of asking history questions that deal with the broad strokes of significant parts of what we should all know. Maybe the history professors should just stay in a classroom with each other. You would have fun!
My pleasure! Are you the Davy who sent me the questions? If so thank you, I will be using them in an upcoming video and will give you a mention 😁 You should do well on that quiz 🤣
What fun! Did a bit better this time than in the Geography and Science ones. 89 vs 82 and 84. I'm kicking myself for getting the Suez Canal one wrong, could have broken 90.
Excellent quiz, covering a wide range of years, people and places. My score: 90/100. Thanks for the possible Star Trek answer to the Titanic question. 🙂 Not sure how I missed this when it first came out but glad I found it 2 months later.
80/100 A great quiz, Ben. The music gets me going, the knowledge keeps me coming back for more. Always an exciting quiz. Tysmfs! Have an amazing weekend❣️ 👍😁✌️
92/100 I learn something new every time I take one of these quizzes! Thanks for all of your hard work writing and presenting your fascinating content on this channel!
Correct me if I’m wrong but on question 10, I believe the Mayan civilization was gone by the time the conquistadors arrived. I believe the question is talking about the Aztec Empire.
79 - I liked the quiz. I'm always curious how people do on these things based on their age. You learn more as you get older up to a point, and then you begin forgetting things...
It’s not 100% wrong, because the agreement that the Austro-Hungarian Empire was based on was that it would be a dual monarchy between the Austrian Empire and Kingdom of Hungary
Enjoyed the quiz, did well in the first half but downhill towards the end. 87 I think. I'm blaming the two glasses of wine between the start and finish! ...
The leader of the Spartans at the Battle of Thermopylae was King Leonidas. Here's a story about his legendary stand: In the summer of 480 BCE, the Persian Empire, under the rule of King Xerxes, was on the march, seeking to conquer Greece. The Greek city-states, normally fractured and at odds with one another, united against the common threat. Among them, the Spartans stood as the epitome of martial prowess and unyielding courage. At the forefront of this resistance was King Leonidas of Sparta. A seasoned warrior and a shrewd leader, Leonidas was chosen to lead a small force to the narrow pass of Thermopylae, the "Hot Gates," a strategic chokepoint where the vastly outnumbered Greek forces could hold off the Persian army.

Missed 7 but made a lot of correct guesses, so...

Only 52/100 but im happy that i got to test my knowledge. Im only 16 right now, but in 10 years i will have studied history in a university and do this quiz again. Then i will score better

95/100--Nice Quiz! James Tiberius Kirk was too funny!
Glad someone noticed my humour 😁👍
As a Trekkie I enjoyed it :D

85/100. I loved that you used James Tiberius Kirk as a choice!
Glad you noticed 😃
And Captain Haddock.... gotta love that Tin Tin
Kirk would have cheated to avoid the iceberg.
Yip and Haddock. Made me smile there.
71/100 I'm happy with that. Good Quiz.
81/100. American geologist. Not good at ancient civilizations 😊. Ancient rocks….yes. 😊
88/100, not bad for an oldie who has been out of school for 50+ years! Always liked history and reading, keeps the little grey cells active!😊
I'm a stone mason from Mt who didn't go to college and has never been out of the country. 81/100
84/100. History was never my best subject, but didn’t do too badly for an old lady. King Tut was a teenager when he died.
You did great 😁
83/100
That one threw me. Knew he died at 19 but didn't know if he was crowned at 9 or 15.
I thought it was 15 and 22, not 9 and ???
Mine was in the lucky guess category for that one.
Great quiz as always Ben - thank you so much! 🙂 I scored 97/100, Tutankhamun was around 18 when he died an the plane is a Supermarine Spitfire.
Oh, perfect. Thanks for checking in 👍😁
Only person that beat me; congratulations 🎉
I achieved 85%, therefore I learnt 15 new history facts today! From Australia

64/100, I'm a 13yo with a higher interest in eastern history than western, despite that I think I did well enough.
I wasn’t counting but roughly 1/6 wrong, mostly questions to do with popes and South America. I enjoyed this quiz.

98/100 I love history!
60/100 so not my best day but I still enjoyed it. Thank you
Correct me if I’m wrong but on question 10, I believe the Mayan civilization was gone by the time the conquistadors arrived. I believe the question is talking about the Aztec Empire.
If Im not mistaken, the Myans were still around, just past their peak. You are probably right though
Well Wikipedia says Mayans until 1697AD.
79 - I liked the quiz. I'm always curious how people do on these things based on their age. You learn more as you get older up to a point, and then you begin forgetting things...
So true. 😁👍
I got 83 and only went to 9th grade, reading pays off, library cards used to be free.❤
90 out of 100. multiple choices saved me!
Hi again from Namibia. I got 85%!
63/100. I did better than I thought.
97/100 but I love History. Should have got bonus points for question 82, knowing Captaian Haddock is from Tintin and Kirk is Star trek.
I’m 14 and got a 91/100 but I’m a huge nerd and spend half my time watching history videos
excellent
got my score a bit confused but I think 76/100. Supermarine Spitfire. Many thanks again, Ben. Fun and educational.
Nice one!
90/100 but this is all the knowledge I acquired 15-20 years ago, never revised.
79/100 not bad.
93/100. The supermarine Spitfire, Tutankhamen was 18 nearly 19 when he died.
For a scientific mind I'm pleased with my score.
Excellent
87/100. I like these better than the science quizzes.😊 thanks.
Excellent! Next one will be a different subject. And then back to some general knowledge questions. I like to mix it up. 👍😁
92/100 The 8 I missed were total guesses. So were another 5.
80/100 was my score today. I don't know the bonuses. I would guess King Tut was a teenager when he passed. Thanks for another great quiz, Ben! ♥
Thanks for playing. He was about 18/19. There is no definite record
@@Quizzes4U 👍
91... and reasonably happy about it
81 found a lot of them so tough . Enjoyed it so much though
Great quiz, I got 89, but I'm 79, so a lot of them occured during my lifetime. Otherwise, I have to thank books and PBS :)
I love this! What counts isn't that something happened in your life time, it's that you have nurtured a lifelong interest in current affairs!
83/100 for me, good quiz
89/100. Great quiz with some real toughies, & many others which we learned in elementary school back in the 1960s. Many thanks Ben, from Ben.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Good quiz. I got 89/100.
Prête ☺️ super 👍

My pleasure 😁
98/100 One I didn't know, one I got careless on.
On #25; That was the Austro-Hungarian empire that declared war on Serbia!
It’s not 100% wrong, because the agreement that the Austro-Hungarian Empire was based on was that it would be a dual monarchy between the Austrian Empire and Kingdom of Hungary
96 correct out of 100
92/100 for Team Harlow Tuesday morning. A really good quality quiz. Thank you Ben 😢
Great job!
Good quiz
98 out of 100 i got. Right but do have history degree that helps.
84/100 nice
C- 71 correct. The last half killed me - I was doing so well before that!
Only 85 right, gotta go back reading my books.
92 including a few educated guesses i.e. process of elimination rather than actual knowledge... still taking those points though! 😅
83/100, though I must say, I guessed about 10 questions and answered many via the process of elimination. “Live long and prosper.” 😂
Some tough questions. I narrow down the answers to 2 and got most of the questions right.
A lot I knew
100/100 I am 12 years old
Nice stay in school buddy you may can be a poor depressed man drowning in debe like the rest of us one day
Amazing congrats there.
Fabulous. Well done.
Enjoyed the quiz, did well in the first half but downhill towards the end. 87 I think. I'm blaming the two glasses of wine between the start and finish! ...

Excellent, and correct on the bonus 👍😁
67. Good one. A little tough.
92/100. Need to improve my Asian history.
96/100, but a couple were lucky guesses.
History was my worst subject in school. I got 74/100, so I am happy with that. Great quiz as always 👍
Great job!
That was fun. Sorry 24 wrong, and I thought I knew my history. 😛🤔🤨

The Supermarine Spitfire shown is possibly a Mk IX (9).
I got about 80%
79/100- got lucky with some guessing and educated guessing, and for some reason I didn't say Roman's for the roads question, no idea why.
