It's so great seeing the kids home and helping. I'm excited to see what's coming to your wood yard. I'm glad your sales are going great. Thanks for taking us along.
Todd with this latest blast of weather those face cord racks are leaving in a hurry. It still amazes me how firewood customers wait till the very last minute for the most part. I'm thinking it's winter people it happens every year. Take care and be safe.
Yeah the last two weeks have been record breaking sales for our roadside stand! Like you said though I had people here at 10-11 Pm the other night during the storm loading up firewood😂 Thanks for stopping by Ben👊🏻
Hi Todd, been a while since I watched and commented. Now if I could both a lift and auto cycle, I take that splitter for sure. I be 73 this May and I think the wood rounds are getting heavier then last year Take care
Yeah this splitter optioned with both would be a no brainer! I’m still leaning towards log lift because I’m not getting any younger myself! I appreciate ya taking time to watch and comment Larry👊🏻
Great little splitter. I really like auto cycle. I got the 35 ton compact commercial it Definitely slower then that one it about all one guy can keep up with. Be watching to see what’s coming next. Keep up the good work.
Yes it was! Fast and mobile! Great splitter for our operation! Big change coming?!? I’m excited for whatever Norm wants me to showcase next! Thanks for watching 👊🏻
I hate to see it go but I’m excited to showcase another great splitter for Norm. The 22RS is a very impressive splitter and the new owner is going to love it! Thanks for watching 👊🏻
Y’all split a lot of wood in that short amount of time! The 22RS is definitely a smooth machine. I can only imagine the auto cycle being a huge benefit! Great video and safe travels for Evan and your daughter!
Definitely need a light out there so ya can keep splitting after dark this time of yr . Crazy how many folks wait till the last second to buy dry wood but that’s a good thing for us wood guys .
Stay tuned…..😂 Yeah these short days are a struggle! I had customers stopping by the roadside stand at 10pm last night!😂 I shut down face cord rack and deliveries yesterday. Got hit hard right before this storm! Thanks for watching Phil👊🏻
Todd, I am 76 years old and have been heating my homes with fire wood for 45 years. I want to address your dilemma with what splitter is best for your operation. I, like you in my younger years would go out cut and haul my firewood from the woods. Then I hurt my back lifting these heavy oak rounds into the truck, Todd remember once you hurt your back things will change drastically for you. FYI, I have the Wolfe Ridge 28 Pro (5 years old now) with hydraulic wedge and log lift (auto-cycle wasn't available at the time). I am a subscriber to your channel and watch all your videos and many other firewood channels. In my opinion the best splitter for your operation, if you want to remain loyal to Wolfe Ridge, would be one of their splitters that have auto-recycle, hydraulic wedge and log lift (again, remember once you hurt your back life as you once knew it is gone). Keep the videos coming.
I couldn’t agree more Joe! I know that age and my body will change everything! Right now if nothing changed I would be leaning towards this 22RS with a log lift simply because I want to be mobile and keep the splitter under roof! I will say if I had a separate structure for storing a bigger splitter the 17 VS would be my choice. Love that machine. An addition of a tractor would change everything too. My opinion is just based on where I’m currently at with health and equipment. I appreciate ya always watching and supporting. Again I totally agree with your thoughts👊🏻
Morning Todd. The 22 rs has a reak nice cycle time. Not too fast, not too slow, lots of power and nice work station. You did a great job explaining the 22 and the auto cycle feature. Good to hear yas are busy in the wood sales. See ya when ya get back Evan
This 22RS Is amazing for my operation. Perfect speed! I will maybe do another video on it before it goes back. Just an overview and an upgrade that I was planning on showcasing! I appreciate ya watching Kenny👊🏻
That 22 rs is a perfect splitter fast with plenty of power especially when you have the good help that you have had recently great kids there’s a lot of pride in your wood yard great video
Yes it is! This 22RS Is great! We all have really enjoyed running it! If you have help feeding it with this auto cycle valve option you can crank some wood through it! If ya can’t take pride in everything ya do, it’s not worth doing! I appreciate the kind words Robert 👊🏻
Splitting can be done by yourself but it isn't as much fun. As you get older and the young help starts his life, the log lift will be invaluable. From an old guy with no regular help, get a log lift.
Good Splitting by everyone 👍 Sorry to see the splitter go, but like with the others I'm excited to see what's next 😊 Great promotion video, I'm sure it's helping sales.
Thanks. We finished up all the rounds except for the big ones that I will let set until I need it for the restaurant customer. This colaboration has way blown away my expectations. The goal was to bring awareness to the Wolfe ridge dealer network especially Widman Cycles and the audience has taken advantage. Numerous viewers of the channel have went to Widmans and purchased splitters. It’s been great for all of us. We will continue to colab together as long as it’s being beneficial to folks! Thanks for watching Lyle👊🏻
I will say the more I watch you guys with the auto cycle. I’m starting to agree it might be better than the long lift. Just don’t handle the big logs 🤣and you can’t go wrong with that Honda motor for sure. Hope you guys have a happy new year. 👍
Tom this machine made it easy to fall in love with auto cycle!! In your situation having equipment I would definitely say pick the auto cycle over log lift! When I get a tractor things will change for me! Thanks for watching and commenting 👊🏻
Don’t hold your breath on that🤣 You caught that FedEx was doing a slow roll in my video😆 Snow is falling now! We will see. Thanks for watching Jeremiah 👊🏻
Thanks Del. Ya never know? I’ll just bring home what Norm has available and wants to put a spotlight on! This colaboration has been great for both of us! Thanks for watching 👊🏻🇺🇸
Thanks again for making my decision on which splitter to buy even more challenging! 😅 As always an enjoyable video. I called Norm last week and might be pulling the trigger on a 28-Pro here soon! The hydraulically adjustable 4-way wedge is a big deal for me
Awesome Matt! The 28 Pro is a great splitter. Little slower but more power and options in the same footprint! Norm outfits them 28Pros with most of the upgrades. Make sure you tell him I sent you if you purchase one and you’ll get yourself a free TOA T-shirt for doing so! Appreciate ya watching Matt👊🏻
Thanks Todd! So good to hear the positive feedback! It’s what keeps me going! Definitely gonna be hard seeing Evan go again but he will definitely come out of school with a wealth of knowledge! Thanks for watching 👊🏻
Your review of various types of splitters has been great for potential buyers. I’m anxious to see what’s coming next. I know you’re going to miss Evan in the woodyard!
I do my best! Norm and Tom has sold a lot of splitters from viewers of my channel. It’s awesome to see that my reach on UA-cam small as it may be has helped some people and also helped Widman cycles get recognized. That’s what it’s all about! Thanks for watching Dick👊🏻
The log lift for me was the real key. Mine did have auto cycle, but it's out of adjustment, and i have been lazy in not fixing that. Sill a win-win for production. Travle safely, Evan 😉👍
🤣There was another truck in the video getting bundles. I think I must have edited it out😂 That’s what it’s all about. Ya gotta move it out to have fun making more. Thanks for watching Jdubb👊🏻
I’m about 45 minutes from St Louis on the Illinois side of the River! That’s what made this colaboration with Widman Cycles possible! Thanks for watching and commenting 👊🏻
Nice splittin! Looking forward to seeing what's comin! In the beginning of the video, I was thinking you were going to say, "My name is Todd, and I'm outside again!" 😂 Sounds like your collaboration with Norm is working out well! 👍🤜
We got a couple different options lined up! This colaboration has been awesome for both of us. My goal was to introduce my audience to Widman cycles as a dealer and a lot of them in the area have went and patronized Norm and Tom! We are gonna continue to do it! Win win! Thanks for watching Tim👊🏻
My wood yard is mud that is just today covered in SNOW ❄️. But I will keep working through it . I run out of wood every year . I hope to do 75-80 cord next season .
We are just about out of seasoned wood too! I have a lot of bundle grade left but I won’t sell it in bulk. I’ll be ahead on it next year but I’m getting behind on bulk. Thanks for watching Jason👊🏻
Well the hydraulic wedge is definitely useful. I thought it would be a big issue losing that on the 22 RS but I t really didn’t bother me! One less lever to run. I never moved the wedge on this 22RS either! I left it at the lowest setting and just flipped the top two pieces back to be split again. Thanks for watching 👊🏻
Vertical is probably my favorite! I just don’t want to leave a splitter that cost that much sit outside. A small carport might be an option but for now I like the mobility of a smaller horizontal! Thanks for watching Joel👊🏻
Hey Sam, i like the idea of your delivery method. I've seen a fork lift trailer that will hold two pallets at one time. Used mostly for delivery hardscape products. Im not sure of the brand. I'll do some research and let ya know. Your math on the totes + the firewood for $100.00 is confusing. The more loaded totes you sell, the less totes you'll have for the next firewood season. Now your stuck buying more IBC totes. Costing somewhere between Free -to-$100. Each. The more popular they get, the more the cost will go up. Just stating facts here. I've been selling 330 gallon totes of mixed hardwood for $95.00 each + a $75.00 per tote deposit if returned within 3 business days. And i still have people keeping them! Other's have bought totes and swapped me even-up to evade the deposit fee. You may want to rethink your plain. Your leaving money on the table , that's truly yours to start with. Best wishes to ya, my brother 🙏🏻
Hello Ron although I read your entire comment, and it was great, I believe it was intended for another channel😂 I’ve done that before! I appreciate ya taking time to comment on content. It means a lot to us to get feedback👊🏻
It's so great seeing the kids home and helping. I'm excited to see what's coming to your wood yard. I'm glad your sales are going great. Thanks for taking us along.
It’s great having them home!! The hard part of watching them leave is coming soon😢 Not looking forward to it! Thanks for stopping by Jerry👊🏻
Todd with this latest blast of weather those face cord racks are leaving in a hurry. It still amazes me how firewood customers wait till the very last minute for the most part. I'm thinking it's winter people it happens every year. Take care and be safe.

She definitely holds her own! 😂 Thanks for watching 👊🏻
Hi Todd, been a while since I watched and commented. Now if I could both a lift and auto cycle, I take that splitter for sure. I be 73 this May and I think the wood rounds are getting heavier then last year
Take care

Ready to see what’s next in the Little busy wood yard!
Well we have a couple different options coming! Whatever Norm wants to send out I’m going to put it to work! Thanks for stoop by Matt👊🏻
Great little splitter. I really like auto cycle. I got the 35 ton compact commercial it Definitely slower then that one it about all one guy can keep up with. Be watching to see what’s coming next. Keep up the good work.

Good morning Todd, I’m really stoked to get that splitter. Thanks for taking care of her and great video.
You are gonna be so pleased with your purchase!! Great splitter and what a pleasure to run! Take care Nathan👊🏻
Thats a great splitter. Sucks to see it go! Bit cant wait to see whats next. Good luck Evan back at school!😎
I hate to see it go but I’m excited to showcase another great splitter for Norm. The 22RS is a very impressive splitter and the new owner is going to love it! Thanks for watching 👊🏻

Yeah it’s a whole new world using this splitter! Very impressed with it and the auto cycle! Thanks for stopping by Jacob👊🏻

Hey guys. Interesting what’s next for a splitter. Nice to have family helping out. Always fun to watch.
Thanks Al. I have really enjoyed the help! Stay tuned for what’s next. We have a couple different options. Thanks for watching 👊🏻
I sure hope so. I’m excited nonetheless!! Hope to meet ya someday. Take care.
Hello Todd, nice family therapy. Stay safe, my friend.
Family and the outdoors is all I need! Thanks for watching Larry👊🏻🇺🇸

Let me know when the FedEx check comes in!😂 The 22 RS is the perfect splitter!! I hope your not buried is snow… Drive safe Evan👍👊🇺🇸
Don’t hold your breath on that🤣 You caught that FedEx was doing a slow roll in my video😆 Snow is falling now! We will see. Thanks for watching Jeremiah 👊🏻
Sounds good!
I love the way your face lit up when you saw Evan coming to help. 🥰
You picked up on that!! It’s always a good day when Evan shows up! Thanks for watching and commenting Jessie!
Morning Todd and Evan and Molly , nice splitting . Can’t wait to see what’s coming next . Safe travels for Evan . 👍🏻🇺🇸🪵🔥

Todd, another excellent piece of video and work by you and Evan it’s a sad time that Evan is going back to school then you’re on your own again 👍😮😊❤
Thanks Todd! So good to hear the positive feedback! It’s what keeps me going! Definitely gonna be hard seeing Evan go again but he will definitely come out of school with a wealth of knowledge! Thanks for watching 👊🏻

I love to see customers in the background loading wood. 😁👍
🤣There was another truck in the video getting bundles. I think I must have edited it out😂 That’s what it’s all about. Ya gotta move it out to have fun making more. Thanks for watching Jdubb👊🏻
Good video Todd. Think you're pretty close to us here in St. Louis, stay safe and stay warm as this winter storm hits.
I’m about 45 minutes from St Louis on the Illinois side of the River! That’s what made this colaboration with Widman Cycles possible! Thanks for watching and commenting 👊🏻
In a few years Molly will be running that wood yard! 🤣 Take care Todd!🥃💨
You might be right😂 Thanks for stopping by Rod👊🏻
Molly does an absolutely fantastic job at operating the Wolf Ridge .
Yes she does! She really likes the 22RS! Great splitter for someone to learn on too. Its size isn’t intimidating. Appreciate ya watching👊🏻
Another good video Todd. Wishing you and the family a great 2025.
Thank you! Positive feedback is what keeps me going! Have a great 2025👊🏻
Alway great video Todd, I looking into the 22RS myself maybe we’ll see.Looking forward to the next Spitter review.👍🇺🇸
Nice splittin! Looking forward to seeing what's comin! In the beginning of the video, I was thinking you were going to say, "My name is Todd, and I'm outside again!" 😂 Sounds like your collaboration with Norm is working out well! 👍🤜

Nice splitter Todd. Big storm went south of me. Still restricted for what I can do because of surgery recovery. Glad to not have the Mrs shovel snow.
Good to hear your recovering. Yeah we are getting hit as we speak! I’m. It looking forward to this white crap😂 Take care Larry👊🏻
Even though i have both the autocycle and log lift, i believe the autocycle saves you more time!! Stay Hydrated and Have a Safe Day
Auto cycle definitely speeds it up! I cant agree more! Thanks for watching David👊🏻
That’s a nice splitter,
It is a very enjoyable splitter to run! I can’t really find any faults in it! Thanks for watching 👊🏻
Nice splitting in the banana belt!
Thanks Genin! Looks a little different here now😂
Up over 5k subs! Well deserved. Thanks for making great content
Thanks Chris! I appreciate your contribution to the channel. People like you is why I keep doing it👊🏻
My wood yard is mud that is just today covered in SNOW ❄️. But I will keep working through it . I run out of wood every year . I hope to do 75-80 cord next season .

Привет из России. Отличная площадка для работы. 👏👏👏
Well hello👋🏻 Thanks for watching and commenting 👊🏻
Hope you guys don't get too blasted with all this snow comming? I think it will miss us but my In laws and KY property are going to get hammered!
We are in the middle of it as we speak! 3-4 inches so far. Hopefully the forecast is wrong😂 Thanks for watching Steve👊🏻
What’s your opinion on the bolted wedge vs hydraulic wedge?
You’ve used both.
I thought you were going to get a vertical splitter Sooooo many to choose from LOL
Vertical is probably my favorite! I just don’t want to leave a splitter that cost that much sit outside. A small carport might be an option but for now I like the mobility of a smaller horizontal! Thanks for watching Joel👊🏻
Best of both worlds get a auto cycle and a lift. Or start with auto cycle and add lift later if possible
So what are they sending next????
Well auto and log lift would be great on this 22RS but it’s just not an option. That would be a perfect splitter though. Stay tuned for what’s next….
@toddsoutsideagain why not??? Iv seen other brands that small with both.
@ I’m not sure? It’s a price point limit that they are trying to stay under.
👍👍
Thanks for the thumbs Bill👊🏻
Someone will get a nice splitter
Yes they will! The new owner is a subscriber in the comments. He is gonna love this 22RS! Thanks for watching 👊🏻

I hope so too. We are getting hit as we speak. All snow so far. I’ll take it over the ice! Thanks for watching Ken👊🏻
