Can't wait to try your apple pie recipe! I used to be a pastry chef and I have a little tip for you on the butter. You can use a cheese grater to grate your cold butter into your flour mixture. I works really well! :) Loving your autumn recipes!!

A step up from leveling the flour is to use a kitchen scale 😊 metric measurements, especially in baking, yield the exact way a recipe will come out! As a pastry cook I only weigh ingredients and I’ll never go back to using measuring cups, even with home baking. I promise you’ll notice a difference when switching to weighing! 😊

I truly love them all lol I can't pick but for the most part, apple is one of my favorites 😊 I like pumpkin around the holidays and pecan too! I also have a recipe on this channel for a blueberry pie and I love that one in the summer! And key lime pie! lol so many favorites, I can't choose 😂

Thanks Julie! I'm glad to know that was helpful! The biggest thing is letting it cool completely because that allows the filling to set. If it's too warm, the juices will be too thin and run out when you slice the pie which leads to a soggier crust. It's worth the wait though! Hope you enjoy 😊😊
My favorite apples, out of the ones that i tried, which aren't many, are McIntosh apples, however, i haven't had them in decades because i mainly buy organic, and i've never seen them organic, which is strange, because they are quite flavorful, more than the others, i think....i don't know if they still have non-organic McIntosh apples...It's a shame that they don't make those a priority for organic...They also might make really good apple pies....i think they are better than Granny Smith, but everyone has a different palate...The Granny Smith i always come across are very starchy, but your's look really good and vibrant....🌸🐝🌼🐇🥬🦋🍅🥕
