I came to know myself by asking God if He is there, if I'm important, and if He loves me. Than I've asked Him if I can be with loved ones, and Him forever. He told me in my heart, and mind that these things are true. I know that you and your wonderful family are very important to God, and that He loves you very much! I'm sealed to my family, and to God. Being sealed is like having an powerful bond with our loved ones, and to God, that even death can't break, unless we want to break that bond.

I am a relatively new convert to the church, I was baptized and confirmed a member almost two years ago, and I received the Melchizedek Priesthood about eight months ago. No other member of my family is a member of the church, but I have begun my family history, and will, in the near future, go to the temple to perform the work for my grandfather :)

One month before my first wedding anniversary with my husband, our first baby was stillborn. In our devastation and tragedy, we reflected on how grateful we were to have made the effort to marry in the temple for eternity. I never would have guessed on that day that I would have NEEDED "eternity" before we'd even been married a year. I am so grateful for this principle and the peace it brings to my life. (we've since had 2 more healthy babies and one on the way)

He loves each of us so much to provide a means for everyone to be able to live with Him, and our beloved family forever! Since baptism in a requirement for us to have eternal life with loved ones, we can perform proxy ordinances for them, and obey what Paul taught to the Corinthians, which is proxy baptisms for the deceased being an important act of love we can show God, and our loved ones by performing these vital ordinances for them.

I have seen the devastation that addiction can bring into a life of a person as well as the family. I testify that I have witnessed first hand that thru the atonement of Jesus Christ miracles still happen today .

My family recently moved to Australia, from America. I didn't want to leave, because my cousin who I love with all my heart got in a serious car wreck before we left, and is now in a coma.Before we left for Australia, my family had a family reunion/farwell for my family. I knew at that time it was my last time seeing Hannah. I was really sad the entire time, I simply didn't want to leave. And then we sang this song..and I cried, I remembered that it's okay. Maybe people who can't be part of eternal families according to church doctrine such as LGBTQ+ people for something they didn't choose to do. This song brings back trauma for me because of being a former member of the church and being LGBTQ+ and was told that I couldn't be with my family because of it. It can bring sadness and trauma to a lot of people that had that type of experience like that in the church.

I love this song so much! almost 3 years me and my family got sealed in the salt lake temple and they showed me and my sisters this song and i had the best feelings there I got close to god, Jesus, and the Holy Ghost ☺🎶

I am grateful that God has a plan for us to have our families be together forever through the plan of salvation, families can be sealed in the holy temple. Am grateful that am sealed to my family. I pray for all people to experience this as they seek to learn the gospel as taught by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

This song is one of my favorite primary song. It seems lyrics is very simple but it's really powerful.
My family recently moved to Australia, from America. I didn't want to leave, because my cousin who I love with all my heart got in a serious car wreck before we left, and is now in a coma.Before we left for Australia, my family had a family reunion/farwell for my family. I knew at that time it was my last time seeing Hannah. I was really sad the entire time, I simply didn't want to leave. And then we sang this song..and I cried, I remembered that it's okay. Because I will be with Hannah forever.

Maybe people who can't be part of eternal families according to church doctrine such as LGBTQ+ people for something they didn't choose to do. This song brings back trauma for me because of being a former member of the church and being LGBTQ+ and was told that I couldn't be with my family because of it. It can bring sadness and trauma to a lot of people that had that type of experience like that in the church.
only beautiful if you like people using fear tactics that tell you to be exactly like them otherwise you're personally responsible for your entire family's demise

Amazing truth, we have our HEAVENLY FATHER, & our beloved HOLY HEAVENLY MOTHER. And so as, our EARTHLY FATHER'S & MOTHER'S.
How powerful it is to me that we have a Heavenly Father that loves us so much that's He's blessed us with families here on this earth, but above that, has blessed us with a way to be with them through all eternity because of the Atonement of Jesus Christ. I encourage all members of all faiths to share this powerful message with others, that is, that families can be together forever.

I have a very strong testamoney that we will be family's forever, and that each one of us was put on this earth in the place we were put for a reason.
