I picked one up in DEC-2022. Love this bike. I just got back from Bentonville (Apri 2023) where I finally got to take it out on it's first ride. Mostly doing laps in Coler, and a visit to the Railyard. Watching you ride definitely helps reassure that this bike can do plenty more than I'm willing to throw at it.
He’s still got it!! Everyone doubted you, they all said “cobra can’t come back, he sucks now.” Well I always believed in you!… You make me want a hardtail, great video!
You're talking about a "dream bike", when I see NX stuff on it, made me very confused. Then you said the truth: "it pays of to have really small dreams" =)) You made my day :)) Thanks!
COBRA'S BAAACK!! 😆 Great to see a new video from our favorite UA-camr! Congrats on the new hardtail, good to know what bike I'm getting next lol I bought a Nukeproof Reactor, most recently a Trek Top Fuel...only a matter of time before the trend continues 😛 My back isn't the best either, actually sold my only hardtail during winter...was shocked when I realized it was my most ridden bike (thanks Strava) but am already thinking of replacing it. Love Knolly as a brand, they make quality bikes - almost bought a Fugitive instead of the Top Fuel...almost. I digress, welcome back Sir! Sorry to hear about the concussion, stay safe and hope to see more 🙂
Stumbled across your channel as it landed in my recommendation feed. Even though I am now riding a full suspension bike, I definitely would agree that hardtails are more fun to ride. I do miss that harsh feedback and the snappy feeling of a hardtail sometimes, but I also enjoy the softer, more forgiving riding experience a fully gives. 👍
I just bought the green Tyaughton. It’s on layaway but should be riding it this spring. The superboost the geometry and slack and a xl bike is just right for a 220lbs+ 6’1” guy like me.
Nice Rig Kyle. HCHT (Merida Big Trail) and a Norco Sight are my weapons of choice. Couldn't agree more, HT makes you a better rider - at least in my case.
@@CobraKyle yeh its a shame - you're stuck with the Specialized fuse which I believe is a worse bike. (i mention that as its Merida who owns Specialized and is the reason Merida aren't imported there which is DUMB!. The reach on them are short for trailbike standards but upsizing solves that with the short seat tubes.. something I love about the Norco also. I usually ride a small but I'm loving the Medium in the Norco.
I'm a massive HT fan from Indonesia n currently ride 2022 Patrol 094 (29er). HT got less love here because the hype of FS but I guess some guys are just like us, it's more gnarl n easy to maintain 😁
I ride a Knolly Tyaughton Titanium and it could be the last bike I ever have. And I ride full North Shore gnar with it no problem. It is not the bike but the rider, and hardtails have a lot going for them. No pivots, great climbing and they teach real riding skills.....body english, line choice, poise.....sure, FS has a place and I like it but my HT gets 95% of the riding time.
This bike interests me as well. Currently I am riding a 2022 Rocky Mountain Growler. Its a great bike but the geo is a little off for me. Mainly around reach etc. I have really long arms. Before my purchase I watched your review of the Growler and was pretty stoked. Over all the RM has been great but a steel hardtail with better geo is tempting. I'm seriously considering buying the frame and moving everything over. Any thoughts or suggestions?
Just ordered a frame to swap out from a Meta HT (and upgrade some parts). The only thing I find a bit weird is the dropper post cable routing, where it goes under the frame (outside) and then through to the back of the seat tube. Not sure why it doesn't just go in through the front of the seat tube and avoid potential damage by having it external below the BB
Lived in the mountain biking mecca of southern Utah for 25 years and still here, also lived in the Carribbean for years. Born and raised in KC MO. Did my first Norba race in Larwence in 93,,,, blah blah. MO is still the best when it comes to culture, food, and legit people. Would have never left if there were mountains and oceans back home. I'd be stoked to go back and ride. And, I think I'll hold out for the Super Duper Boost 200mm😎
Very nice. Hope it's all you want from a bike. I agree, I prefer hardtails. I don't do much real downhill and avoid tricky teck. So... Name for your bike? Spanky? Promise I won't do it again 😅😅😅😅
How can that be a dream bike, no internal cabling, ugly cables hanging everywhere, they'll get caught on everything, pulled and stretched, no thanks! 😆
Knolly reached out to me and sent me the missing dropper post cable grommet. Now that's service!
Just found this on my fyp page, how do you not have more subscribers?! The production quality is awesome, awesome bike, good jokes, great video!
Thanks so much! That's very kind of you to say!

Not totally a washed up hack yet....yet. I knew you always believed in me!
Who said that? What a 💩 thing to say to anyone. What happened?

Glad to see your back out there making content, really appreciate it.
Thanks so much! It's nice to be back
Congrats on that nice bike, Kylester!!! Great to see you on here!
Thanks mom. Now everyone knows my real name!
wow one thing I saw on this video that I need to get for my bike is the internal post grommet. Mine is missing. Have no idea where it went.
I need to order one too haha. It's only 2 bucks, but I never really think about it.

Thanks Evan! Sounds like I influenced your bike purchasing decisions lol. This Knolly is an excellent machine, so I hope you end up with one!
Just bought mine yesterday... can't wait to take it out from the box when it's delivered
Congratulations! It's such an awesome bike. Was riding it last night.
@@CobraKyle it came today 😄 don't have time to try it now but it looks great. Quality of the frame is fantastic
Congrats on the Knolly and the Spot!
Thanks so much Tommy!
Great to see you back, please don’t leave us waiting like this again.
Thank you! I hope not to have to take such a long break again.
Glad to see you're back! I credit your channel (specifically, the Teal Steel series) for helping me discover a love for mountain biking.
Thanks Mark! That's super cool I helped get you into mountain biking...especially from such an old bike! Thanks for being around so long!
Thanks for the tip on the tire brand, hadn’t heard of American classic but I’ll definitely give them a try. Screw overpriced maxxis.
Congrats on getting your dream hardtail *and* the free Lyrik upgrade! 🎉
That "thank you" made me laugh. You got a sub. 😁
HE’S BACK!!! Heck yeah Kyle that’s a nice bike congrats!
Hey Gino! Thanks dude!
Awesome hardtail. Enjoy your new bike.
Beautiful bike
Sick bike! Acetone will get the spank billboard off those rims.
The man is back!
Good to be back!
Wow! I forgot we filmed the build a bit. That was a while ago! Love the crossfire Easter egg. 😂
Yeah that was in August I believe. I take forever to make videos haha

I'm in the same boat haha. Whenever I go to some trails where things get sketchy I bring out the full suspension.
Sick... Dope color 🔥
Wow what a great deal at $2000! Looking forward to some shreddy footage.
Yeah probably the best deal right now for $2k. I saw on their website that offer ends tomorrow. Better buy one Michael!
@@CobraKyle Ah man, no dice for me. I have 5 bikes- 3 of which are hardtails!
They also make a titanium hardtail frame I wish I could have it is 1 of the most beautiful titanium hardtail frames iv seen.
Yeah it's super nice! Out of my budget for sure though :(
@@CobraKyle I know me to man around 3000$ 😬 lol
I need to take it for a spin. That bike looks so good.
You're welcome to! I believe you switched to SPD's, so now we can swap bikes easy

Oh very exciting! I'll have to come check them out
Insane deal??? Dude a bike over 250.00 is too much for me, I'm just city commuting 😳😳😳

$250 is the baseline you need to get the worst Walmart hunk of junk. So congrats on having your cut off limits being “Used” or “Next” brand lol
@@magnusley9336he does have a point, this video isn’t for city commuting bikers, being as it’s about frame material and hardtails lol

Are full suss bikes relevant in this modern hardtail world? 95% of mountain biking can be done on a hardtail bike.
Kyle. HELLO.
Morning Harry!
i have a stupidly slacked out hardtail ....im offended.
34LB! That's like 10LB more than my XC bike 😅
"More fun to ride"???? DEFINITELY
