Beautifully done by Eddie Huffman. Sam Cooke wrote this many years ago, and it still sounds fresh. I am blessed to have seen Sam Cooke with the Soul Stirrers twice in 1955. I also saw Johnny Taylor and the Soul Stirrers in 1959 and in the last decade, Willie Rogers and the Soul Stirrers. They all maintain the Sam Cooke sound.
The Soul Stirrers went through many member changes but, from start to finish, managed to deliver great performances no matter the lineup. I never get tired of listening to them.
