Thank you so much for your kind words on our robot! Although our 30 hour design was somewhat practical and innovative, we are currently working on a new and never seen before (at least we haven’t) design idea! This year, especially with the ascent, I bet there will be many different crazy types of robots in the future competitions. Good luck to all teams!!
Thanks for the kind words about our robot! Given that this is the first time we've ever made an RI3D, and that our main goal was to make it as cost-effective as possible, even being 11th place is better then I was expecting!
Thanks for your analysis! I'm from the ri30h team. Don't be fooled, the transfer looks simple, but it took a long time to get working. If the hopper and collection aren't lined up just right, it'll shoot the sample up and out of the bot as it lifts, or if the slot is too wide the samples will fall back out. We added a bunch of flexible fingers with zip ties and cut foam to hold the sample from failing back through the slot. And we made the collection really thin to make the slot as thin as we could. I would recommend teams prototype it if they can before deciding to go with it to make sure you can make it work.

Go Volta!! Can’t wait to see it!

Great analyses! We are honored by your ranking of us, good luck to all teams this year!

We're not in the description but the robot from the first ten seconds is ours!
i think screw it's is underrated. The result is insane!
Thanks for sharing🥳
26:18 wouldn't that build break the horizontal stretch limit of 42"?
I also saw that video uploaded by a channel named robot in 30 hours
omg we got top 3
What about gearheads, great Scott, and dynamite social club?
Impressive.
20:44 if i am not wrong you cant take more than one sample in the controlled stage and can only preload two samples in autonomous.
Yes the robot only ever has one sample. Also you can only preload one sample in auto
