I lived in Huntington from the Late 60's to the late 70's. AWESOME place to grow up in. Still consider HB my hometown. It's where I went to school, and grew up. A surfers absolute PARADISE !!!!!
Lived there in mid sixties where the surfing craze was gettin it's first wind. Good times, no beach or park reservations needed then. Free parking along the coast road, open BBQ pits, hot cars, girls, wonderful memories.
My biggest dream is to go to Huntington Beach ♥, I have never seen the sea in person, and I want that to be the first one. What a beautiful place, there was born my favorite band. *(Avenged Sevenfold)*

+DanM Gillin They ruined it by allowing the big hotel chains in and creating a monoculture of corporate greed. The old beach front stores and shacks are all gone. Sure it was run down but today it would have been a treasure.

Hunting Beach is the best.. Been there a few times. Best beach with huge waves and lot of shop and restaurants to boot.Todd
