- Experience the excellence of my Kokum Butter Face Cream, light, seamlessly absorbed for flawless makeup application, non-greasy, and a delightful addition to your skincare routine.
Enriched with Kokum butter, it rejuvenates skin, restoring elasticity and imparting a radiant glow. Unlike heavier alternatives, Kokum butter is light, swiftly absorbed, and acne-resistant due to its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Derived from the kokum tree in India, this butter, extracted from kokum oil, is uniquely firm, crumbly, and light grey or yellowish in color, setting it apart from traditional plant butters.

First time Im going to use kokum butter!! Love the fact is odourless!! And so much smoother than mango butter!!!
It's such a versatile butter, and yes, the fact that it's odourless is a big plus, especially if you’re adding essential oils. Kokum butter has a firm, smooth texture, and while it's denser than mango butter, it adds a wonderful stability to the cream. Hope you enjoy using it as much as I do
Thank you for the wonderful recipe✨
I have been trying different things with the Kokum butter your recipe is the 1st on to actually work for me thanks I am going to use it on my legs they get so dry in the winter.
I am so pleased you liked the recipe and it helped with the dry skin. Thank you for your comment.
Can i add kojic Dipalmitate and alpha arbutin to this to replace arrow root powder?
Yes, you can add kojic dipalmitate and alpha arbutin to replace arrowroot powder in a my kokum butter face cream. Follow proper usage rates, cool down the cream before adding.
@@beautybooster_diy4848 thank you ma, can I dissolve the Kojic Dipalmitate with the butter?
how much time we store it?
6 - 12 months as long as the products you are using have good dates too
Have you ever tried zinc oxide in whipped cream?
Yes, I've tried zinc oxide and it's effective. Zinc oxide soothes and protects sensitive skin, reducing inflammation and providing a barrier against irritants. Its broad-spectrum sun protection is a bonus. Overall, it's a gentle yet effective addition to skincare routines, especially for those with sensitive or acne-prone skin. Highly recommended for its calming and protective properties.
@@beautybooster_diy4848 which one do you use? And would this replace arrowroot in the recipe, same quantity??
@@nikita5919 Both tins contain the same cream I usually use. The arrowroot works well in the recipe, so I wouldn't replace it, but you could substitute it with something else if you prefer. Just keep in mind that the quantity may vary depending on what you choose.
Will this stay creamy after a week or month ir will it harden?
The texture of this face cream will remain creamy, it won't harden under normal conditions. However, in colder climates or if stored in the fridge, it might temporarily harden. But in regular room temperatures, it will stay soft.
@@beautybooster_diy4848 thank you!! Very beautiful product!
Mine hardened over night it's not that cold is there something you suggest
Can we add bees wax as a substitute for cetyl alcohol
No, it would not work.
Yes it will as you don’t need cetyl alcohol on your face
have you had any problem with product crystallization?
Hi, no never and I have been making these creams for years.
@@beautybooster_diy4848 great! Thanks
Heyyy...could you please share the recipe in tblsp or cups measurements
How long is the shelf life
Approx. 6-12 months maybe longer depending on the expiry dates on items you are using, you could add a preservative if you wanted to, this does contain Vitamin E which prevents the formation of free radicals, which are what cause oxidation and rancidity in oils.
Ok great thank you 🙂
From where will we get cetyl alcohol
Lots of online shops, also Amazon, Etsy & Ebay sell this.
What If we don’t add alcohol ; is it going to effect the process or texture?
yes, it will, it prevents creams from separating into oil and liquid, it's an emulsifier and makes the product thicker too.
@@beautybooster_diy4848 any other natural option?
Yes, Cetyl alcohol helps thicken and add texture to this cream.
No it won’t it’ll just be creamy and you don’t need to have it emulsified to use it on your skin/face.
Why do we need Cetyl alcohol in there?
Cetyl alcohol is included in my face creams for its emollient, thickening, and stabilizing properties. It improves texture, locks in moisture, and enhances the overall quality of your skincare routine.
@@beautybooster_diy4848 Can we replace it with something else or not to use it?
@@rawsunnata829 Yes, you could use cetearyl alcohol or stearyl alcohol, if you leave it out it would change the texture and stability and consistency of the face cream.
