  • Experience the excellence of my Kokum Butter Face Cream, light, seamlessly absorbed for flawless makeup application, non-greasy, and a delightful addition to your skincare routine.
    Enriched with Kokum butter, it rejuvenates skin, restoring elasticity and imparting a radiant glow. Unlike heavier alternatives, Kokum butter is light, swiftly absorbed, and acne-resistant due to its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Derived from the kokum tree in India, this butter, extracted from kokum oil, is uniquely firm, crumbly, and light grey or yellowish in color, setting it apart from traditional plant butters.

      It's such a versatile butter, and yes, the fact that it's odourless is a big plus, especially if you’re adding essential oils. Kokum butter has a firm, smooth texture, and while it's denser than mango butter, it adds a wonderful stability to the cream. Hope you enjoy using it as much as I do

    Have you ever tried zinc oxide in whipped cream?

    • @beautybooster_diy4848
      @beautybooster_diy4848  10 місяців тому

      Yes, I've tried zinc oxide and it's effective. Zinc oxide soothes and protects sensitive skin, reducing inflammation and providing a barrier against irritants. Its broad-spectrum sun protection is a bonus. Overall, it's a gentle yet effective addition to skincare routines, especially for those with sensitive or acne-prone skin. Highly recommended for its calming and protective properties.

      @@beautybooster_diy4848 which one do you use? And would this replace arrowroot in the recipe, same quantity??

    • @beautybooster_diy4848
      @beautybooster_diy4848  5 місяців тому

      @@nikita5919 Both tins contain the same cream I usually use. The arrowroot works well in the recipe, so I wouldn't replace it, but you could substitute it with something else if you prefer. Just keep in mind that the quantity may vary depending on what you choose.

    Will this stay creamy after a week or month ir will it harden?

    • @beautybooster_diy4848
      @beautybooster_diy4848  Рік тому +1

      The texture of this face cream will remain creamy, it won't harden under normal conditions. However, in colder climates or if stored in the fridge, it might temporarily harden. But in regular room temperatures, it will stay soft.

    • @beautybooster_diy4848
      @beautybooster_diy4848  2 роки тому

      Approx. 6-12 months maybe longer depending on the expiry dates on items you are using, you could add a preservative if you wanted to, this does contain Vitamin E which prevents the formation of free radicals, which are what cause oxidation and rancidity in oils.

    What If we don’t add alcohol ; is it going to effect the process or texture?

    • @beautybooster_diy4848
      @beautybooster_diy4848  2 роки тому +1

      yes, it will, it prevents creams from separating into oil and liquid, it's an emulsifier and makes the product thicker too.
