This vehicle was fitted with a NoJack only two days prior to the carjacking.

EVEN SERIOUS CRIMES THAT INCLUDE CIT ROBBERIES, HOME INVASIONS AND OTHER SCHEDULE 1 CRIMES THAT ARE IN PROGRESS ARE RESPONDED TO AS BACKUP TO AS PER THE CRIMINAL PROCEDURE ACT. WE ALSO GIVE ASSISTANCE TO VARIOUS LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES WHEN ASKED TO DO SO.
Our actions are in line with the South African Criminal Procedure Act, The PSIRA Act, The National Road Traffic Act and other relevant regulations.
Under certain conditions such as displayed in many videos the responding members may seem to contravene certain laws. However when responding to these crimes there are grounds of justification provided for such acts, however these members will always take into consideration the safety of those around them.
ARRESTS BY PRIVATE PERSONS
Any private person (not law enforcement official) in South Africa may arrest someone for “any collaborating, enticing to commit a crime” [2|3|5], such as within the list schedule 1 offences as per the Criminal Procedure Act of 1977 , Law 51 [2|3], and Criminal law amendment of 2007, section 3 and 4.
42 Arrest by private person without warrant
(1) Any private person may without warrant arrest any person-
(a) who commits or attempts to commit in his presence or whom he reasonably suspects of having committed an offence referred to in Schedule 1;
(b) whom he reasonably believes to have committed any offence and to be escaping from and to be freshly pursued by a person whom such private person reasonably believes to have authority to arrest that person for that offence;
(c) whom he is by any law authorized to arrest without warrant in respect of any offence specified in that law;
(d) whom he sees engaged in an affray.
(2) Any private person who may without warrant arrest any person under subsection (1) (a) may forthwith pursue that person, and any other private person to whom the purpose of the pursuit has been made known, may join and assist
therein.
(3) The owner, lawful occupier or person in charge of property on or in respect of which any person is found committing any offence, and any person authorized thereto by such owner, occupier or person in charge, may without warrant arrest the person so found.
Manner and effect of arrest
Criminal Procedure Act 51 of 1977 Arrest - Art 39
(1) An arrest shall be effected with or without a warrant and, unless the person to be arrested submits to custody, by actually touching his body or, if the circumstances so require, by forcibly confining his body.
(2) The person effecting an arrest shall, at the time of effecting the arrest or immediately after effecting the arrest, inform the arrested person of the cause of the arrest or, in the case of an arrest effected by virtue of a warrant, upon demand of the person arrested hand him a copy of the warrant.
(3) The effect of an arrest shall be that the person arrested shall be in lawful custody and that he shall be detained in custody until he is lawfully discharged or released from custody.
SCHEDULE 1 OFFENCES
Treason.
Sedition.
Public violence.
Murder.
Culpable homicide.
Rape or compelled rape as contemplated in sections 3 and 4 of the Criminal Law
Sexual assault, compelled sexual assault or compelled self-sexual assault as contemplated in section 5, 6 or 7 of the Criminal Law
Any sexual offence against a child or a person who is mentally disabled
Trafficking in persons for sexual purposes
Bestiality
Robbery.
Kidnapping.
Childstealing.
Assault, when a dangerous wound is inflicted.
Arson.
Malicious injury to property.
Breaking or entering any premises, with intent to commit an offence.
Theft, whether under the common law or a statutory provision.
Receiving stolen property knowing it to have been stolen.
Fraud.
Forgery or uttering a forged document knowing it to have been forged.
Offences relating to the coinage.
Any offence, except the offence of escaping from lawful custody in circumstances other than the circumstances referred to immediately hereunder, the punishment wherefore may be a period of imprisonment exceeding six months without the option of a fine.
Escaping from lawful custody, where the person concerned is in such custody in respect of any offence referred to in this Schedule or is in such custody in respect of the offence of escaping from lawful custody.
Offences referred to in section 4 (1) and (2) of the Prevention and Combating of Torture of Persons Act, 2013.
Any conspiracy, incitement or attempt to commit any offence referred to in this Schedule.

Well done guys and brilliant driving skills, awesome. One thing that really bugs me though is the attitude of the Saps when they arrive. Almost every time, they seem to not give a hoot, just another day and another crime. This is why this country is in the mess it is in!!

I love you guys oh so much, thank you for always putting your lives on the line. It seems the SAPS have gotten better too in helping others. I have an expensive suggestion for Cops, Paramedics, Fire departments, and of course No Jack and others trying to make this country safer and better. All your vehicles should mail tickets (fines) to every vehicle driving in the line of fire, if you are ignorant enough to slow down an emergency vehicle, then yes, you should get that fine in the mail, three of those fines and your driving privileges should be revoked. Please stay safe and keep doing what you do, thank you.

I grew up in this neighbourhood and the things I've seen made me leave that place. It's just sad that some of my family is still there.
The problem is South Africa is that that the residents in Alexandra are so resentful of people that have possessions that they will offer zero assistance and often hinder law enforcement. The South African Police are no better. For them, police work is an option not a job requirement.

Yes guys I agree with you, addictive to Anton and his teams exceptional work! It's just fair that they should have sirens on the vehicles. After all they are truly keeping these crimes under control, sacrificing their own life's for us everyday! If you watched the video with the fake disc's, clearly I would have lost it. Absolutely. I'm sure I've heard them use a siren in some cases, but I'm not sure if there's a difference in the law between when they're on their own and when they're running with a SAPS vehicle. But yes, a hooter is just a rude irritation that can be ignored if you turn up your radio's volume, while a siren is someone on an emergency mission, to be allowed to pass as soon as possible…!
Anton had explained in one of his older videos that it's illegal for them to use the siren and that the sirens you hear in some of the videos are either them being followed by a SAPS vehicle or Anton's ringtone which is set to a sound of a siren

my dream was to be a police man but end up studying IT (Software Development), i so wish to work with NoJack 😪😪😪
You should take it one step further guys , the jackers are leaving the car there to see if it will be tracked while they keep an eye on it , you should set up a sting with units nearby and keep watch with a drone or unmarked /tinted car and wait for them to come back and collect the car .
