Where can we get em at?
How do i get one of each?
Thank you very much much for sharing!! You helped me solve the problem! I appreciate!!
OMG! Imagine the possible top end size one thousand years ago.
Hey Hans, What type of rod do you like to use for bottom bouncing?
I catch them in Ashtabula n the winter they come into feed on blankets gizzard Shad from shore ina hot water discharge .
Thank you
I’m stealing guac water lmao
The best leader right here. Nothing tries your leaders like jigging the bottom of big rivers
The best🎉
No snubbers
Never used a dipsy, ,,, but I have over-reeled into top eye a lot over the years, I love the idea of a bead and bumper at top,, where do you get the rubbery beads ?
Tchaikovsky, Bizet - this is a true classic fishing video! Plus tons of tips.
I do have a question, what size dipsy was that? The big one or the small one? Thanks 👍🎣🇺🇸
Really Smart of you! Great setup, thanks for showing that. I really learned some things watching that video. 👍🎣🇺🇸
Music is hilarious!!
Where can i pick up some of them football jigs?
Do you run straight braid to the dipsy and the your flurocarbon from the back to your bait?
How can I get my hands on some 8oz. Lead Rods ??? 🎣
No, but its an impressive specimen
Snubber?
Awesome video! Where is the sticker/decal on motor from? Love it
Straight up legend
Why not steel leader?
Got to give you your props on this one, my friend. Did everything you did, worked perfect first attempt. Thank you. I was able to whip up 5x perfect leaders with swivels and snaps.
Ok, I’ve looked everywhere, where do you find or how do you make the mold for those weights?
where do you get your lead sticks ? I need some in my life asap!
What size diver do you recommend to get down to 40'? Don't want on that's to big if I can help it but don't want to let out a ton of line either if I can help it!! Thanks!
I know it’s probably too late but if you go to the divers it has numbers and I think you’ll need 3 1-4 is a 40’
So I'm planning on going after musky and went with this setup. However, I tested this bending method on 120lbs and it always broke before the weight was off the ground at the back bend that he tells you to make at 3:55. I think this is because when the weight is on the line it's actually trying to straighten it out causing it to over stress the wire and breaks way before reaching its max tensile load. I corrected this by eliminating the back bend and rather than wrapping the wire away from the eye I started my wrap a little low and wrapped towards the eye. I didn't have a scale but I was able to lift the 120 lbs off the floor and it only broke when I jerked/bounced the weight a couple times. It is far stronger this way and only uses maybe .25" more wire so it's not much larger. It's not as easy to make it look pretty and is more technical to do.
Is 40 lb too much for a leader strength from dipsy to spoon ? Targeting browns
Great video. Well done
If I push the line back yo hook it always unravels. Like it won't bite down. Any ideas?
What speed range do you like when fishing dipsey's? Thank you for the great video
How do you calculate the depth of a crank and the diver? are you just verifying with livescope? do you normal run shallow or deep diving cranks ? seems like it could get complicated.
tell me if i'm wrong it look like female full of eggs
Oh wow i love your baits
love the video. do spoons work just as well as spinners with the bottom bouncer
I appreciate the thru wire. No short cuts like other “high end” baits. Very nice.
Great looking baits! I appreciate your attention to quality construction and the finish. Tight lines friend.
FREAKING SICK!!!! This just might get me to start trolling! Awesome!
Good Video with the extra details. Thanks from Barengate Light NJ
Great Video Captain Hans. What's your go to sunglasses and lens option. I'm going to get a pair of new ones just for the boat and I'm asking around what pro's are using. Thanks!
Omg the bs . Not caught on that lure 😂😊
Get video, what is the green bead you use?
Hey love the video! I’m new to bottom bouncing but have fished eyes on Huron and Erie for a few years now, Canada side though. :) I’m wondering what rod you using? I like the look of them.
How do you store the long ones for trolling? Just roll em up?
A long and girthy girl. A fish like that is once a lifetime for some, never in a lifetime for most.
This is for some reason maybe my favorite video I’ve seen in years. Just a perfect encapsulation of the ridiculous nuance of muskie anglers brains and the sentimental values they have. So many good stories within trips that too often don’t get told anymore.
You are a really enjoyable person to learn from thanks man. Dig the classic music in the background too lol
where on lake Erie are you fishing
