I am going to make a temperature blanket this year. That is the 13th so I’m getting a late start but I have been super sick for about a week and a half and I’m just now feeling better so I’m hoping to go to Hobby lobby and get my yarn this next week as I think I’m going to use their I love this yarn brand. I really like the idea of using that box that is big enough to carry everything around so I may have to see if I can get something like that. If you do start a Facebook group, I will definitely join it. Thank you for all the helpful tips in your video.
I am working on a temperature blanket that starts last year in May and will continue until this May. My husband and i moved last May to a beautiful little Northern Ontario town named Wawa, and i am making this blanket for the first temperatures we experienced in our first year here. I am crocheting granny squares. I love your accent, and i look forward to seeing your beautiful blanket 😊❤

I'm planning to do a temperature blanket this year, was a little confused but this video has put into place. Not sure if I'm knitting or crochet it. Thank you
I am also doing my first blanket. I had a problem working out how many stitches to do. I have measured 60 inches wide I hope this will be enough!! I am using 4 weight with a 5mm hook. I am using extended single crochet which will be unusual. Thanks for your video
It's a spool net, typically used for embroidery thread. I was using old stockings 😂until I stumbled upon this mesh. Works great so far, I've only had it for a short while so I'm still testing it to see how well I like it.
U could use the yellow and brown for rain and snow , idk if u get snow there ...I started a temp blanket before ( didn't finish) and used white for snow , and black for rain ...this year I'm starting again, I'll be doing linen stitch in squares ( 12 squares)...yes Facebook please !!!
We rarely get snow but that's a great idea, I love the brown and gold so much. I think yours will be easier to execute since you are doing squares. So much more easier to manage.
I've been going back and forth over making a temoerature blanket and your video may have tilted my decision towards making it. Thank you for showing the pdf you found. That was the one thing that really helped me to decide to do one.
@@millieshandmadestore Thank you! When you do 30 rows you will kinda know how long the blanket will be appropriately. I have heard the temperature blankets are pretty long. You will be able to see how wide it should be too by taking this measurement:)
I love your colors and the linen stitch. It’s gonna be pretty. I think I’m making a 2024 blanket- it’s my ten year wedding anniversary so I may do it Feb 2024-Nov 2024 (10 months for 10 years)
I have started my first one myself this year. In my research, I found a pattern for working in Tunisian crochet and thought this would be fun. I also just found your page today and am looking forward to seeing more of your work.

Just saw your video. I like the stitch you picked to crochet. How many inches does 30 rows equal when you do the linen stitch?
Thank you!
Hi, I haven't measured yet, I did not check gauge ☺ will measure and update in the notes once I have 30 rows done. Thank you so much for watching.

I would definitely like to join a Facebook page for the temp blanket, if for no other reason than to keep me motivated.
U are welcome to come over and join my 2024 temperature blanket group page.
If you wouldn’t mind, where did you find the netting tubes to keep your yarn in control? Thank you!!
I got it from Amazon: a.co/d/9rqGhfZ it does a good job with the cakes☺

so excited for you - I would like to make one - but not this year - too much to finish first - I will be following you to learn for next year
I have too many WIPs as well😄, will have to really stay focused.
