What if instead of all the things aev adds to protect the undercarriage . Some company came out with things that made the vehicle way more durable as far as longer lasting . Like super durable bearings or components that last like 400,000 miles . Cause what really sucks is worn out broken parts after only a few years . I mean the depreciation on these trucks is insane.

I agree. I had a 2002 2500 HD Silverado Duramax for 20 years, and ran Royal Purple in the eng., trans., differencial, and power steering unit all those years. I it was never in the shop once. It finally developed a transmission problem that turn out to be a dirty contact that was sending the wrong signal to the trans. whan I started the eng. I now have a 2022 3500 Silverado Duramax Dually and run Royal Purple in it. I towed a 15,000 lbs 5th wheel RV with the 2002 model which was right below it towing capacity for 12 years, and never had a problem.
I think that if you guys could get the brand new F350 Tremor vs. the HD 3500 Rebel vs. the 3500 AT4X 3500 and then test the heck out of them, it would be an amazing series. Gas(diesel) mileage vs. offroading vs. Driving experience, etc. it would be a very popular series....

For me personally the Ram is still the best looking. My 23 Ram Mega Cab lifted with 35’s cost 81500 it is my third HD Ram and I have really good luck with them. The cumins has enough power to pull my 12k travel trailer over any hill in this country at the posted speed limit don’t need more.
The cost of the mods alone to the Dodge, was about the sticker price on my 2000 Silverado 2500. 174k miles still does everything I need it to and no $934 a month payment for 8-10 years or whatever these rolling mortgages cost! 🤑
Yes I suppose IF someone can actually make money with a $104,000 truck but, I see a lot of the high trim levels that are just daily transportation. And also in 1/2 ton in only the $78,000 range... Yes I will definitely keep my old Silverado to haul my tractor/backhoe around and make some coin as well. The new trucks are very nice to be sure and can handle a lot more than my old Chevy but for me, I don't want to work that hard to justify buying a new one. That's just me though. I've been working for over 43 years so my high energy days are long gone!

No way. The RAM looks way better. The front billboard that Ford put on the front is ugly a/f. Also RAM always ahead of Ford and setting the standard in performance trucks. From the TRX which ford had to come out with a raptor r and the power wagon which Ford is trying to duplicate and the RAM rebel which made Ford come out with the tremor. RAM the obvious best truck out there.
I have the AT4 3500 to pull my fifth wheel. It has been an amazing truck so far. I am a Ford diesel guy, generally(still own 2 diesel Ford trucks), but they told me 1 year order time for a new F350 Tremor...

Awesome truck and the 6.6 gas and 10 speed Allison is more than capable for my recreational towing and a great daily driver. It's also the best looking HD IMO.
These things are realistic hardly anyone’s gonna spend $125,000 on the truck. I’d be a lot more excited about the stock versions and equal comparison. The people that can afford to buy these it doesn’t matter anyway if you don’t like it for whatever reason they’ll just go buy a different one.
As an owner of a 2023 Silverado 2500 HD, I agree these trucks are stupid expensive. I never would’ve thought my $70k truck was a good deal until I heard the Ford costs $120k and still says F-O-R-D on the front. 🙄
Here’s a good thing to know about the new ford. I’m a tech at ford, and I have 5 6.7 power strokes out back all with holes in the side of the blocks, and all with less than 7k miles. Completely destroyed….

Happy Thanksgiving. I like heavy duty pickups, but it’s kind of funny that mine gets stuck in our field because of the weight. A Jeep or side by side does better driving up to the barn. The truck excels at payload and towing but heavy duty trucks have their limitations when off roading. I guess that’s what we get for having a barn on the side of a mountain with a soft soggy soil.
I'm not a Ford fan but i do agree that those are some big headlamps. Then again it is Ford after all. They always seem to have that "mine's bigger than yours" mentality.

Ram wheel wells are perfect for large tires. The RAM and Jeep infotainment system are better than most other manufacturers. I just want to scream. Stelantis could have taken even more market share but they just keep resting on their past rather than making these trucks all new and cutting edge. You cannot loose with any of these trucks except $$$$. They all are ridiculously expensive by collusion and government allowing this collusion to subsidize EV development and production. The profits from these trucks and the large and mid size SUV’s are all that keeps these companies out of bankruptcy
With these trucks you can impress all of the passers-by in the shopping mall parking lot with the tens-of-thousands of dollars of off-road parts that you paid for and will never, ever use. I take that back: The bumpers can be used for fending off those pesky shopping carts in the Walmart parking lot.
TFL have really been using the Ram Trail Hound off-road!! They are testing them off-road. My Ranching buddies all use their brand new Raptors, TRX and yes HD trucks as their off-road vehicles in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies. They also use them shopping and for Sunday and as road trip vehicles. The theory that they are too expensive to use off-road doesn’t generally hold water. These people can actually afford the trucks and as such they use them to their fuller capabilities. The true playtime off-road use by most of them is with a Wrangler, Bronco or custom off-road vehicle. Mine is a 79 GMC High Sierra K15 short box, 5” lift on 33s with front & rear ARB air actuated lockers. Fuel injected 383 stroker and 6 speed Chevy automatic transmission running just 4:10 gears. It’s just really hard to seriously play off-road in a HD truck. They are long & heavy. Some private places don’t even allow them because they tear up the trails so bad.

Hey have you guys tried to turn off esc on the rams. Holding the traction control button for ten secs while in 4 lock or 4 low. It actually locks both front and rear differentials. Love the videos guys.

Everyone says they don’t need a big 4x4 EXCEPT WHEN you need to make your own exit on the freeway when traffic has stopped because of an accident, every time during rush hour, and cops don’t care that stuck, they are like: too bad so sad.
7% failure rate on the CP4 injection pumps here in the USA means that 7 out of every 100 Fords will fail prematurely. Just so they can have the biggest woodie on the block! Friends don’t let friends drive Fords! Been there, done that.
I really like the GMC but money wise you can’t bet the price of the Ram. The prices of the new trucks are going through the roof and lowers there sales. You can update everything on the Ram and never meet the price of a new truck.

There just isn’t any real difference in the Ford gear ratios currently offered with the diesel. I’m kind of surprised they aren’t offering the 3:73 with the tremor as so many buyers will be installing 37”.
My 2022 2wd silverado is already so tall i cant check the fluid levels without a step stool and it barely fits in my garage by 7 inches and the antenna hits the garage door opening
You’ve got no rear gear ratio left after you put 37” tires on it, unless you started with 4:56’s. Since I don’t know what was there originally can’t do the math. It won’t tow nothing unless you leave it in third gear. The lag is the tire size. The durability of the Ford 6.7 should be questioned pushed out like it is. Andra just loves Fords.
I’ve never been more impatient and excited for Rams heavy duty answer. It’s either going to be the top of the food chain again… or a massive disappointment.
The only way one of those 3 would get me to pay that much for a truck would be to have a 5 year bumper to bumper warranty and a 10 year powertrain warranty!! They are more than what my house cost me 20 years ago and my old RAM is now 20 year old and needs replaced BUT I wouldn't pay that much unless they could guarantee it would last that long without any major issues and we all know they can't do that because their products today while improved isn't going to last.
I’m a big fan of you guys but this comparison is very ??? A luxury factory off road worthy truck vs two that are built via aftermarket. I want to see you guys do more with stock vehicles the average person can afford to buy. Show us how well a lt z71 Silverado or f150 xlt can do chores in a muddy field or make your snowy commute. This channel is starting to branch out into stuff that is no longer relatable. We need more cheap truck challenges, review the newest mid grade truck (lt, xlt, big horn)

Have you thought about real world testing for a FARMER? Pull max load on Ike with a load of fat cattle. Live load moving around. I would find it interesting to see the results of that.

These people can actually afford the trucks and as such they use them to their fuller capabilities. The true playtime off-road use by most of them is with a Wrangler, Bronco or custom off-road vehicle. Mine is a 79 GMC High Sierra K15 short box, 5” lift on 33s with front & rear ARB air actuated lockers. Fuel injected 383 stroker and 6 speed Chevy automatic transmission running just 4:10 gears. It’s just really hard to seriously play off-road in a HD truck. They are long & heavy. Some private places don’t even allow them because they tear up the trails so bad.

Hey have you guys tried to turn off esc on the rams. Holding the traction control button for ten secs while in 4 lock or 4 low. It actually locks both front and rear differentials. Love the videos guys.

I really like the GMC but money wise you can’t bet the price of the Ram. The prices of the new trucks are going through the roof and lowers there sales. You can update everything on the Ram and never meet the price of a new truck.

There just isn’t any real difference in the Ford gear ratios currently offered with the diesel. I’m kind of surprised they aren’t offering the 3:73 with the tremor as so many buyers will be installing 37”.

You’ve got no rear gear ratio left after you put 37” tires on it, unless you started with 4:56’s. Since I don’t know what was there originally can’t do the math. It won’t tow nothing unless you leave it in third gear. The lag is the tire size. The durability of the Ford 6.7 should be questioned pushed out like it is. Andra just loves Fords.

I’ve never been more impatient and excited for Rams heavy duty answer. It’s either going to be the top of the food chain again… or a massive disappointment.
The only way one of those 3 would get me to pay that much for a truck would be to have a 5 year bumper to bumper warranty and a 10 year powertrain warranty!! They are more than what my house cost me 20 years ago and my old RAM is now 20 year old and needs replaced BUT I wouldn't pay that much unless they could guarantee it would last that long without any major issues and we all know they can't do that because their products today while improved isn't going to last.
To me.. the GMC is the best looking. But they’re all amazing.

Actually, CHEVROLET wins once again. ram’s towing capacity is A LIE. Chevy / GM has 36,000 lbs, while ford and ram are only at 35,000 lbs. So Chevy wins there. And, ram has the most HIDEOUS exterior AND interior in the world, soooooo
Definitely going for the Ram because theres more room if you need to work on it. When I had my 2020 Ram 2500 the 19 mileage was pretty good as well after you delete it.
