Sorry for the crappy video footage guys! I am using a new video editing software and aren't very familiar with it yet! If you liked the video and it helped you do me a favor and drop a like on this video please! Thanks for watching!
Thanks for taking the time to video this procedure! I miss the old days when you could just crawl in your trunk and change your speakers in 10 minutes!
This video you created is awesome. I had to replace my rear deck speakers on my 2012 Sentra and your video made it super easy! Well made. Great step by step detail. Much appreciated!
Hey man, just wanted to thank you for making this video. It helped out a lot today. The only thing I ran into that wasn't in the video was that I needed a short torx 15 for my speakers. Other than that, the video was great. Thanks a lot!
Doing same job and video was extremely helpful. I recommend you purchase trim removal set of pry bars from Harbor Freight to remove pins. Worked great without any deformation. Thanks.
Thank you for your great video! I had no idea this project may be so involved! My wife's 2012 has a buzzing speaker so I'll get some new ones before I get all the way Into this!
thanks for the video, just wish I would've watched it sooner....would've saved me about an hour and a half. I've never liked 6x9's so I hit the rear deck with the dreaded sawzall, then busted out the router to make a few nice purdy wood rings ...and...voila! Two 10” subs, two 4” mids and of coarse a couple tweeters. Next are the doors....again, many thanks for the video!
This vid helped me a lot good job. I bought same speakers for rear deck except I ran nice 16 gauge wire from 4 channel amp. Got infinity components for front and added tweeters where the blank wholes were. All coupled to a android double din
I don't know about you guys but after doing this job and on another day doing the spark plugs, all I could think about was getting 15 mins alone with the dude at Nissan that engineered this. After all this, I find out at the end that the screws holding my speakers down were Torx 20 screws. I had what I needed and use a ratchet with the bit, but it pretty much told me whomever designed this made it hard to work on, on purpose. I like buying used cars but doubt I'll ever buy Nissan again.
Just info for those adding woofers.,,.connecting to your current wires changes the ohms. If you add 4ohm speaker to existibg 4 ohms those become 2 ohms and can cause head unit to overheat. You can purchase adapters that connect inline at the back of the head unit to have 2 rca lines for connecting long wires to run under flooring to rear mounted woofer.
I'm sorry no I don't remember, I added a sub as well but I haven't had the car for over 4 years. I believe what I did since I didn't know either was just tapped into the two wires and turned on music. If I didn't get anything out of the sub then I just switched the wires around
My rear deck rattles, but only on the right side?? Its super annoying with my sub cranking...would I have to disassemble the entire rear deck and see whats going on under it to possibly see what the issue is?
Hey man, I have a 2.0 sentra 09 and I cant find the location of the rod assy pulldown, part number is 11380M. I changed all the engine mounts the upper one on the right, the cvt on the left and the lower torsion one, in the catalog it shows that this mount should be in the car but i cant find it anywhere and two mechanics have told me that there are only three mounts. I have changed them and my car still vibrates like crazy, the engine still rattles and moves too much when selecting drive or reverse. Thank you so much in advance
Does anyone know where I can get the speaker harness for a 2011 Nissan Sentra for the back speakers and the front door speaker which the speaker size is 6 x 9
Great video man it helped me out a lot! I have a question though, how do you pull forward your back seats, ive done the lower part but im stuck at the backside of it. Thanks for the response!
I believe near the top of the seat by the headrest there is a fabric loop poking up, if you grab that and pull up it releases the seat back so it can be folded down.
Do you seriously have to take all that out to just to put in new 6x9 speakers? I just assumed I'd unbolt them from body, take out the top speaker cover then pull it up and out, no? I'm going to try and avoid all this if I can. I have a blown speaker on left rear.
Unfortunately yes that's the only way to change them. There is no speaker cover to take off to access the bolts you need to remove. The entire deck assembly has to come out to access it.
@@nissanguru2001 ooh great, I was hoping you'd discovered another way. Okay I'll let you know how it goes, I hate messing with weather molding afraid I'll create a poor seal when placing it back. Good job at explaining everything, good video
I wouldn't be able to tell you yes or no without looking at the vehicle. However, the same format would most likely be followed such as pulling off the plastic c pillars near the rear window. I would try checking a Nissan Maxima forum online if you can't find a video on UA-cam.

Thank you so much for taking the time to show this. I had no idea this was going to be so involved when I ordered the speakers from Crutchfield!
Haha same here! I'm glad this was so helpful for you though!

Great video Thank for making it now I know how to replace my girls rear speakers
Was so weird to see someone from Hall County on a UA-cam video I searched up. Haha. That's sick though.
What a pain in the a$$ to change two 6x9 speakers. Nissan, what in the world we're you thinking? Thanks for the video man.
Unfortunately this is how you get to the rear speakers in most new cars haha I agree though its a lot of work!

When replacing the left speaker, what is that wire connected to it and it’s attached to the top of the rear trunk?
Excellent video
Where did you get the trunk lid underside cover?I've got dynamat on mine and it looks ugly.I need an idea for covering it.
i bought the same kickers for my sentra but only the door ones
Any video on rear seat belt (left side, behind driver) replacement for Nissan Altima 2014?
Do you remember what was the positive and negative wire for rear speakers? I'm trying to add a sub
I'm sorry no I don't remember, I added a sub as well but I haven't had the car for over 4 years. I believe what I did since I didn't know either was just tapped into the two wires and turned on music. If I didn't get anything out of the sub then I just switched the wires around

good afternoon it is possible to remove the front panel I mean the whole panel as you see in your video where you remove the entire back panel
Did you use a 6x9 adapter for the back speakers to help screw it on?

Does anyone know where I can get the speaker harness for a 2011 Nissan Sentra for the back speakers and the front door speaker which the speaker size is 6 x 9

Hey dude I'm thinking of replacing speakers on my 07 spec v you think it will be hard to do so?
Do u know where I could get a stock connector by any chance? I have subwoofers but I don’t the connector for it and I don’t want to solder it
Don't use a pliers to pop out those plastic plugs. Get a plastic pry tool kit.
would this be the same on a 2008 maxima

same struggle with the retainers!XDXD
Crutchfield should of included mounting brackets for free
Nissan made it hard
