Mr Ken Dodd how this year of 2020 during the Coronavirus Pandemic could we of done with your wit and humour! Even this video lightens mood all these years on from when this was first recorded. Thank You for the tickling laughter 😀
Not many comedians can make other comedians laugh - here's the greatest comedian OF ALL TIME - making everyone laugh....a very rare talent never to be heard again.
When I see so called comedians on TV, and so called singers on TV, I thank the Lord for Ken Dodd, and U-tube that he can still be enjoyed today. Thanks for posting.
Absolutely brilliant! I saw Ken at the Liverpool Philharmonic a few years ago, within seconds of appearing on stage he had destroyed the audience into fits of laughter, and this continued for the next five hours. even at the age of 80 he is still performing 4 or 5 times a week, if you havent seen him already, you must GO!!
I saw Ken live in Liverpool a number of times many years ago. If you were in the 'last house' you had to make sure you had alternative traval plans as he finnished when he finnished which was normally at least an hour longer than was billed. I was usualy more concerned about breaking a rib from laughing so much than missing the last bus.
I met ken again recently in Blackpool and he is one of the nicest people that you will ever meet. His show was sidesplitting and the voice is as good as it ever was. His Knighthood is long over due
Bless this man and all who revere him, he truly has helped Britain be great and as long as he and his predecessors are remembered, Morcambe and Wise, The Two Ronnies, Tommy Cooper, then life will be that much happier, ohhh baby ths answers that age-old question...WHOS THE DODDY!!!:D
I seen Ken for the first time live at the Glasgow Pavillion 2 weeks ago it is and will be one of the most memorable and happiest memories of my life. It was amazing to see a real comedy legend of such calibre and energy perform to such a high quality. ONE OF THE HAPPIEST MOMENTS OF MY LIFE..TOTAL HAPPINESS
ken Dodd is one of the all time greats he is so funny, and a lovely voice when he sing Love me with all of your heart it always makes me cry but keep up the good work ken your one off a kind xxx
OH MY WHAT A GREAT VOICE......and laughter too ! I've loved this man since I was a nipper and I'm pushing seventy now......but I keep pushin' it back heehee
What an AMAZING talent he was. No matter how many times I keep coming back to watch this, it never gets old. They just dont make them like Ken Dodd anymore !.
I'm 19, I don't think your sense of humour has anything to do with age, I find this man immensely funny, he's just pure talent and greatness with a wicked personality.
Y'know, it doesn't matter what type of comedy you like, I personally I like frankie boyle and Jimmy carr, but I like most comedy and sir ken was a giant amongst legends
What a Comedian, he not only mastered the art of comedy, if the truth be known he could sing. Imagine if he had appeared on the Masked singer, nobody would of had a clue, until the big reveal.
Always remember when he came out to the audience right after he was caught for tax evasion. His light hearted and absolutely funny outlook to the tax office was priceless. A true master of adversity turned round for laughs would endear him in our hearts forever.
I love the song he sings ''Love is like, an ever spinning wheel, round and round again'' thats how it goes does anyone have a video of him singing it or the track
I once had the honour of being a lowly supporting act to Freddie on the pier at Great Yarmouth. At the time I remember thinking what a very underrated singer Freddie was. RIP Freddie.
Ken Dodd is the last (serious) clown you'll ever see. Treasure this clip. Even if your watching this in an "ironic" manner. Ken was a solid entertainer from the 1950's onwards, and always channeled a sense of the houmous about him. The man knows comedy.
The average age range of the audience in Bradford i would guess ranged from 15 to 95 .. Kens humour tickles your chuckle muscles .. regardless of your age ..
Hi Ken Hope you are still keeping well, I would like to write to you could anyone tell me where I would send my letter to. Hoping to get over to see you in Birmingham, thanks KEN for all the pleasure you give me .thank you
pity i didn't see this years ago. I live right near his house in Thomas lane, Knotty ash. Hope you found that address and was able to send him a letter.
If you're a bit down in these strange times, play this clip and start your day with a smile, I still do,often, and it does me good- thanks Sir Ken, you are still with us
One of the funniest men in the world and what a great voice. Was so surprised last weekend my 8 year old nephew was staying with us, when we watched an audience with ken dodd and my nephew actually put down his IPAD and sat laughing his head off at Ken! Proof that good comedy is timeless :)
Ken Dodd is he last of the great music hall/variety performers from an era long gone. That's what accounts for the extraordinary range of his talents. Quite apart from his knockabout humor which was very English in style he was a considerable tenor and sang many a memorable ballad. I was a regular listener to his radio show in the early sixties. People like him are nothing less than an everlasting national treasure.
I used to listen to his BBC RADIO shows here in Ireland in early sixties with the regular catchphrases, like "wheres me shirt", "they can't touch you for it",etc. On one occasion, the show had an Irish flavour......This motorist pulls up to Ken and asked,"whats the quickest way to Kilkenny?".....Ken replied "just push him over a cliff!" Kilkenny is a small medieval city in South east Ireland, probably the smallest in Europe and has a fabulous castle open to the public. It was made a city by Royal charter hundredes of years ago
he is the brightest and greatest spark to happiness that i have ever had the privilege to have seen and to be quite honest there should be no dislike button
What a genius. Talented beyond belief. If ever you are down watch this. Works for me every time. Doddy and Freddie Starr both have the same effect on me. Two brilliant Scousers.
I first saw Ken perform live in Blackpool when I was 10. I saw him a couple of years ago in Plymouth and he had tears rolling down my legs all over again! I wrote him a letter thanking him for such a good show and I got a personal reply. An absolute legend.
I'm always impressed with how good his vocal abilities are. He has terrific breath-control, great intonation ... can start a note bang on pitch at full voice, very well placed sound and a nice tone. A very underrated singer, in my view.
Such great lines in this song 🎵 a true masterpiece by a brilliant British artist rest well Victoria your still missed and loved and thanks for all the great memories
I love this so much, have played it over and over. My husband and I went to Ken's show at Eastbourne recently, we had never seen him 'live' before. I can't hear Ken's Cuando calienta el sol too many times, I'm totally addicted to it. Desperately hoping there will be another opportunity to go to another of his shows. What a lovely lovely so talented man.
Stand-up, you cannot beat it when it's good, and goodness Ken was good at it. No stopping him, wind him up and off he goes And what nobody realises - well, perhaps they do - is what a very fine singing voice he has
People forget, but his song "Tears" was the best selling non Lennon and McCartney song of the entire 60s. That on its own should he worth his place in history - yet so renowned as his comedy it totally eclipses that.
love him my parents saw him live he started at 8 at night didnt finish till 12 at night and they said he didnt repeat anything it was completely original
Ken Dodd was the great master of comedy. Rest in peace.

I'm the 700 liked on this video
well that worked it's back well done to who ever
For Haaben, he is about as amusing as sitting on a nail and realising you are wearing your favourite undertrouser.
who do you like?
"AUNTIE MARY HAD A CANARY"......"up the leg of her drawes" "PLEASE!!"
Classic, lol
he was once known as Professor Yafult Chuckabuttie, Operatic Tenor and Sausage Knotter.
shows you dont have to be rude to be funny
what is it they say back to him when he says "auntie mary had a canary"?
The average age range of the audience in Bradford i would guess ranged from 15 to 95 ..
Kens humour tickles your chuckle muscles .. regardless of your age ..
You are correct. - Haaben
Hi Ken

Ageless humour and no filthy language. Most so called comedians today are not fit to clean Ken's shoes.
The lady in question - It's Pam Rhodes
Anyone else see Frank Carson in the audience? :D
Average age of that audience - 84.
His face must not fit
Still class without it
14 people missed the like button
i have seen him live the never fin till 2 in the morning

This man is a genius.
I can't take credit for another mans work! ;)

I saw him three times at Bolton's Albert Halls. Unequalled entertainment.

This show was the first time I ever watched Ken Dodd and I've loved it ever since. The most memorable moments are this medley and the ventriloquism
Well, i must addmit, that he has a amazing Voice.

Can you remeber the days when an icon of entertainment could make a hilarious routine about foreign people and no one would cry about it?
Just in the top 3 of comedians of all time irreplaceable r.i.p ken
