Mr. Thomas Dan Hougaard knows how to show/sell a boat. Not just one person with a GoPro; most professional of you Mr. Thomas Dan Hougaard. And bye-the-way, what a fantastic yacht!
I disagree. Helmsman is way too exposed to elements, the double cockpit means loss of space, the interiors do not convince me. Check the Sirius 40, that's a much more clever design!
Beautiful boat Perfect aft cabin amazing how much space in 42 feet feels like a 60 foot boat The finish looks very high quality, there was no creaking of the floor or anything else when opening the drawers and cupboards I haven't even seen a review of a boat while it's being built in a factory, practically while it looks like a ˝floor plan˝, I think that this is how every advertisement for a boat should look.

There's a few sailboat builders in that part of the world that use steel frames to connect the keel & mast loads etc. One of them actually has a lifting eye bolt arrangement whereby the entire sailboat can be raised by one lifting cable through a hatch above the keel. No slings required.
Lovely boat and so well thought out for distance cruising. Adding things like a generator, water maker and lithium ion batteries for solar should have been standard at this price point
@@atakd A lot more tends to "go wrong" with the quality of water available in many parts of the world, than with good quality water makers. Their biggest practical advantage is that the water they make, is clean. Get either 2 small, low capacity 12V units or, if you insist on showering despite floating around in the middle of the world's largest bathtub, a 110/220 high capacity unit AND a small 12V backup. Use them to keep tanks topped up.
Oh man.... This is how boats should be built! Yet few still are, unfortunately. Wonder if it would be possible to have them change some of all those heavy cupboards high up, for Frenchie style lightweight, cheap netting; so they could instead put the weight to use in giving the deck salon windows openable frames? While retaining the sea worthiness, centre of gravity and hence sailing quality. Wouldn't make sense in Denmark, but for summers in The Med, openable windows in the deck salon would be perfect! Out of the direct sun, yet fresh breezes.... Regardless, these look like the bees' knees for cruising more varied climates.
Love that beautiful lady would be great if you wanted to loan one to a disabled guy who would love to sail Australia could be a great way to show off your designs over here if you haven't already but other than that she looks amazing and comfortable with all amenities shame that water makers are not standard and lithium batteries also so when anyone wants to go extended sailing they just need to attach panels and more batteries if needed
Absolutely gorgeous boat. Love the many modern features, like how the windlass is below deck and the chain comes through the front and right into the locker so it doesn't get the deck dirty. The self tacking jib is nice too! But that old style bi-fold door that stows against the cockpit wall? Unbelievable. Not only is it totally inconvenient and unattractive, but it seems very weak and easy for someone to break into the boat. You really need to update the entry door. I was going to buy one 😖 but that door is a deal breaker.
"I was going to buy one" No you weren't... But if you were it would be really easy to modify the door/hatch in a 600k yacht. They probably would even do it for you since they're a semi custom yacht builder.
Thank you very much! We build every boat according to the wishes of the owner. It is indeed possible to install a double sink! And you can have the fire blanked wherever you want.

Considering they are a semi-custom builder and the boat can be had with a custom layout, lifting-keels, twin keels and double rudder etc they could probalby deliver it with a shaft drive as well...
I've never seen a better or more complete boat tour. I must say that the nav/settee chair idea is brilliant- so simple and yet ingenious too.

Very impressive for a 42 footer. Actually the layout and space optimisation is the best I have ever seen.

Wow 😮! Unbelievably gorgeous yacht. I just love it. So impressive.
The Pinnacle of a boat walk through.. every single manufacturer should copy this .. perfect.. and I want one ..
Incredible boat! I’ve been on the 360 ds and was blown away by the quality.
Very pretty boat! I like the idea with a steel frame. It was a surprise you have a second salon on a 42 sailboat :)
That looks absolutely fantastic, well done on a great design.
This is very cozy and spacious, the lower saloon was a total surprise
The best danish boat i have ever seen.
I feel right at home! Like an extension of my workstation, but with much better comprehension of space, it feels like overhead I could live with.
Beautiful boat

Bravo for the excellent tour. Good speaker, straightforward and very convincing.
8:55 the metal plates that support keel bolts are incredible...

That is a real sailing ship, not an Ikea store that happens to have sails. Refreshing to see!
❤️ pure love! Superb Boat, top tour of if. I like every second of the tour and started saving money already ☺️
Thanks for sharing this tour with us.
Lovely boat and so well thought out for distance cruising. Adding things like a generator, water maker and lithium ion batteries for solar should have been standard at this price point
Personally I wouldn't want any of those things for blue water cruising - too much to go wrong. Best left as options.

I am speechless. Congratulations!
Stunning.
Incredible design, and the highest quality.... 👌
Very clever boat i have ever seen
She's a beauty
Very elegant yacht. And well thought out
Looks like a mini Oyster - and that's not bad at all...!
Good video, nice beautiful and safe boat. Many thanks.
Bravo! I have 1.95 meters height (6’ 5” more or less). Can I move about the saloon and sleep in the aft bunk comfortably?
It looks so nice! I really like it!
Which one is the black/blue one in the background in the first 5min?
Well spotted! That is our Nordship 500 DS. See more here: www.nordship.dk/en/yachts/custom-line/500DS
Is it possible to add a wheelhouse inside?

Perhaps a little optimistic Rob.
Very impressive! What is your anticipated number of annual builds of this 420DS?
6.
Nr.2 and nr.3 are currently under construction in our shipyard :)
Price brother price at least a number for a well equipped boat.. Like island packet do..thank you..
€622k inc. 19% VAT without extras. What you would expect comparing to Rassy / X Yachts / Contest.

I'm trying to understand what's the difference between 420 DS and 430 DS. Seems like the same boat...
Very sma😅rt boat. Congratulations. If I may comment? Fire blanket shoud be on the wall left of the cooker. I would insist on a large double sink. !!!

Great boat, but copy of the Nauticat?
15:50 Thanks for showing an unfinished boat.

Move the traveller, get rid of the wood decks, and the wood interior and yes it could be a good boat.
I'm sure he'll sack his naval architect and interior designer and take you on after such splendid opining from your sofa.
