There is so much history on the construction of that road system. At certain times of the year, some stretches are completely not useable (impossible to pass--floods and the mud is so soft and deep it is like melted soap). I wish you luck and lots of fun in this new adventure. NOTE: I know you are on a budget but you can find lots of small simple places serving amazing food. Don't waste opportunities. You will remember those forever.
Ludacris progress on those bikes, honestly im amazed with your results! Honda but never the less 300cc! So those tiny 4 stroke bikes managed this load, 4 days 500km per day on Transamazonica. Its not the bikes, its the riders! Well done Pavlin, i cant wait for the official series!!!
That was a good synopsis of travel here. In the 1990's I found a trip report on the HUBB website with someone on a single cylinder Ténéré. He went in the wet season and had some pictures which would make anyone cringe. He made it through, but considered it worth an olympic medal. Reading ahead on weather is great for roads like our Dempster highway in Canada. If you get caught on one end, you should really have a plan for letting it dry or whatever alternative. According to NASA, the Amazon Rainforest is home to some of the darkest night skies on Earth. This is not because it's been declared a dark sky preserve and light limitations have been set around it, as is the case for most dark sky areas in the United States and Europe.
As they say, luck is when preparation meets opportunity. Clearly you prepare and take advantage of opportunities. It also applies to those who claim they’re unlucky. Poor preparation and missing opportunities.
There is an American couple Chad and Rose that go by Two Wheels Three Sheets who rode the entirety of the Trans-Am as well as crossed the Amazon on boats from Brazil to Ecuador. I don't think they've uploaded their videos yet, but you should reach out to them if you need any information. I know they've helped a lot of people plan routes through the area and are very knowledgeable.
@@samhill3496 Tough go? I don't think they've posted those videos yet. I like Pavlin's channel for what it is, but in my opinion Two Wheels Three Sheets is the best motovlog channel on youtube.
@AnchorAdventures-w7s My best did the ride to the indiginous people at the endvof the road a few years back. I think Pavlin is skipping part of that. Really good National Park and animal rescue center up there as well. Hot summer is when she went. Rain heat tough.
Thank you for the great information .
Glad it was helpful!

Don't breakdown, I'd say. Would you do this ride if you were traveling alone?
Yes
Make hay while the sun shines. I'm an old farmer. Friend Ron Bedard did the ride. Be ready.
