Really enjoyed this coaching session. TJ made some great points and exhibited a style that challenged and encouraged his players, and you made some key points about the nuances of the purposes behind the drill. Loved the progression, too! I'm hoping to use this in my own sessions.
Hey coach. I love your videos. Today I was playing basketball and I saw a dad in the stands that looked exactly like you but a bit chubbier. I was really confused because I live in Australia.
Hi Coach! I think your breakdowns are amazing. I have one request, do you think it is possible that you could do individual player breakdowns or point out a certain player in each game. Thanks! Once again, I love your videos.
The in n out is actually one of the progressions in this drill, but I didn't cover it. When d is closing out after retreat dribble the in n out is a great move to have.
Hey coach, I am training my son for middle school basketball. Would you say that this drill will be helpful for him in understanding the defense and learning how to read and react at the middle school level?
Coach next time please show us some defensive drills, how to play lockdown D, post-up D, how to steal the ball without losing your man, how can you improve your block timing, do you need to watch your opponent or the ball while you defend and other details.. I enjoy watching D and playing D. Last wednesday on our pick-up game, our offense was running iso's on 2 guys so i was pretty inactive so I decided to guard opponent's best man and it worked a lot. I put much more effort than most of the guys and it helped getting a W. Staying in front of your man, challenging every shot, not giving good looks to an offensively gifted player consumes a lot of energy. A lot ! Defense is overlooked in the NBA and when you play basketball but i think it's the most important thing in basketball. If you play real good D, you can beat anyone.
BBALLBREAKDOWN Do it coach!! Eurobasket and fiba ball in general is always very fun. Most teams actually run offensive sets and dont always rely on isolations like the US
E yo coach Nick man, how is that possible for shorts and a shirt not to become heavier. Does sweat evaporate to another demansion or something? that sounds 2 good to be true dog.
Jesus. His release starts at his chest, followed by a wrist flick in front of his face, and then stretching his arms over his head as a follow through. Why the hell is no one helping this kid fix his mechanics?
Now that the playoffs are over can u do more history and your predicts I think ad will be mvp and also do u think curry wood win mvp with out klay to get him shots and assist and his team 37 points. and also in

Glad you liked the video and found it beneficial. There's a lot of different ways to run this drill. You can really get creative.
Great video coach! Very important points discussed

Well, I've never been in Australia, but hope to get there one day!
Chris Paul & Tony Parker are probably the best at this skill dribbling around the elbow retreat jump shot or drive to the basket.
Yes they are
kyrie is good at it as well
If only a person wins all lose, your game is for all to be winners with wisdom 🙏
that dude at 3:30 needs to retire

I love attacking with an in-and-out move off the retreat dribble.

Great suggestions! I'll have to put this on the list...

B Ballr subtle? lmao
The guy with the white/red top was the best. Good drill
Where do you get your NBA game film +bballbreakdown
Nice video coach, there were like 10 shots missed in a row in this drill :D it's kind of funny
Yeah, the guys were struggling. We shot a lot of videos that day.
NBN Basketball I believe so, most of the shots were short, that explains why :)
Coach are you planing to do breakdowns on Eurobasket 2015 games?
If they are broadcast in the US. When are the games being played?
the games start on spetember 3rd i think

Anyone else had to pause the video at 3:59 and just think to yourself "Wtf did i just watch"

And also I'm in
Like for example how the Spurs get there core over the years like the draft Tim d and d rob trading for the finals mvp
I don't get it they say they're in but they drop the ball
LeBron with an uncalled travel or two gets down the court with three dribbles.
Damn they gotta be able to make those shots😪
Advanced after wards, short memory being human😁🥰.i promise I will lose for a better understanding 😃😄😄😁😆😅🤣🤣😂
dafuq was dat release 3:35
lebron can go down the court in 3 dribbles, then he travels all the way to the basket
That dude's jumpshot is so crusty
Lebron will make it court to court with only 3 dribble and 2 travels!
That's cause LeBron travels the whole way haha.
He travel all the way to Miami and back in 4 years
First
nice coach im in.
