chicken wraps for lunch..... back in '98 I helped with Africa's first wrap shop called Naked on Kloof, in CT. It was interesting to have to educate the people who came in as to what a wrap was and that it was not a pie, necessarily....🙂 looking to do a road trip next April and Baviaanskloof is in serious consideration, thanks! great work.
Hi Matt, Video was simply brilliant, absolutely fantastic scenery and the Hilux performed superbly (haven't yet bought my new set of tyres as you previously said in reponse to my enquiring). Love the way you both enjoy the outdoors and isolation in the wilderness. Thank you so much for your efforts and the camera-wife's given that she must have trekked long ways for some of the shots of you and the vehicle. Toyota ought to use your material to sell Hiluxes. Take care.

fyi, another more simple solution for a shower I have used is to use maybe a 15 liter, pump spray canister normally used to spray insecticide. Just fill with water, pump up some pressure and away you go.... cheers!

Toyota Hilux is reliable
Awesome footage just a small correction you find a lot of 'ghhs' because these names originate from the Khoisan languages not Afrikaans.
How much ground clearance does that Hilux have
Suspension lift? Matt I'm in Australia and my son had a Hilux some years ago and rolled it but drove it home. When he reported it to the police and they asked the make of the car, on being told it was a Hilux they said "Oh a Rolux". Admittedly to roll out it on a roundabout he was being stupid but it appears they have a reputation? So I can see you're careful but maybe that's something to stash in the back of your mind
If you add as much weight as I have, regardless of vehicle model, it will handle worse. You just have to drive responsibly. The suspension is critical as it needs to be beefed up to handle the weight. If I hadn’t upgraded the suspension it would be MORE susceptible to rolling.
One of the strange phenomena I've noticed in these posts is how the slow motions shots are so loud while they are just a whisper at normal speed. I can't think of an explanation, any ideas?

Hey Matt. I got a quick question that I really need your help with, what sort of air rifles or barrels are capable of shooting copperplated slugs?
I would love to start hunting deer here in Michigan with an air rifle but only want to use copper plated slugs.
I saw in one of your videos where you had a copper slug that looked like the slugs you have for for your huban, the ones that have the supper good bc, but instead of being pure lead like the normal huban slug they where copper plated lead I think.
I would love a huban but I work a minimum wage job and cannot afford it lol but I would give my left nut for one.
as long as it shoots reasonably accurately with copper plated slugs that’s all that matters to me. I i’m thinking about getting an AEA bullpup challenger in .45 or .35 but I don’t know if it will work or I guess more specifically what type of barrel is capable of firing them.
I’m guessing you wouldn’t want to use a choked barrel due to the possibly of damaging the choke or at worse getting it stuck but I don’t think that will happen if you don’t have a choke.
getting out into the woods would do me a whole lot of good, so any information you have would be great.
