While bicep curling I don’t feel any pain however when I let go of the weights I have extreme forearm pain for 3-6 seconds
the same happens to me, when gripping or doing curl nothing but when i stop gripping is a sudden pain for a couple seconds
@@lucasbenitez4470 I think our biceps are too strong for what our forearms can handle. I started working out my forearms and It’s feeling much better slowly slowly the pain should fade away 👍
@@shqiptari1699 i started doing some stretches but working out the forearms seems like a good idea, im going to give it a try unless it hurts lol, thx for the advice :D
Any updates? I have the same exact problem but lately it's getting really disturbing
@@mynameismalion rn the pain reduced a lot in my case, i just did some stretches and the pain went down by the days
That stretch gives me instant pain release. Thank you!
It really works
Ive been having problems with this exact pain ever since like 3 months ago when I jokingly egolifted like a 55kg weight on a bicep curl when I havent trained for a few weeks. Cant believe the stretch helped this much. Cant thank you enough doctor ;)
Same deal here... went too big suddenly. How long did it take to recover? I've done nothing for the last month, and it still hurts like hell when I lift even relatively light things in the wrong way
@@JaydenLawson I feel like it hasnt healed, since I stopped working out like a piece of shit
@Lola1654455kg barbell?
@Bxbblet3a279probably with the easy barbell. I curl 50kgs for 12 reps with it
I always have a sharp pain when I release the barbell on the ground. There are multiple things that helped me.
1. Use an ez curl bar
2. Do partial reps (don't go all the way up because this puts strain on the forearm)
3. NEVER curl the wrists towards you (up) while going up during a rep. Leave them in a neutral position
4. Try to relax your forearm more during a set
5. If you release the bar after a set, do it slowly and not rapidly letting go
6. Use lighter weights and focus more on bicep contraction
7. Do reps more slowly
I think you should also train your your forearms aswell because I'm pretty sure your biceps can curl more weight than your actual forearms can handle
I’m other words:don’t workout because it will do the goddamn thing it’s fucking supposed to
Dumbass
its litterally worse for me when i do easy curl reps then when i do normal reps
Thank you so much! This pain in my forearm I've been dealing with years now, and all my doctor said was "it's growing pains". I aspire to be a doctor who seeks answers and tries their hardest for their patients, always putting the patient before anything else (I couldnt care less about the pay, it's the work I do that's important to me).
Did you cure it?

ah man I've had it since I was 14...I've been working out for years....the pain never goes away...its mainly when I release the grip
Had it for several months now and after time off working out I now know it’s permanent. U reckon it’s anything arthritis related?
@@BuffToonzdid you try doing the stretches he said to do in the video?
@@BuffToonzI have it too I believe it's a forearm weakness problem or your biceps much stronger than your forearm like in my case easy way to see is if you can curl more on a preacher curl then on normal curls because its focusing completely on your biceps in preachers.
This is exactly what I have too. I hope this helps! The stretching does feel really tense in the art that hurts.
I found the solution. I witnessed the same pain while biceps exercies.
The best solution is do not leave the bar immediately once you complete your raps ...just release the weight and keep holding the bar in the same position for 5 seconds...you will surely get rid of this pain ....believe me , It helped me alot.
Oh my god, my problem vanished in a span of just 10 minutes can't believe these tutorials actually can work
did this exercise and had instant relief. Thank you so much!
Thank you this helped a lot
You are awsome man! Can't tell you how much it helped.
Very good advice, after the first time I stretched my hand/wrist and arm, I noticed a pain decrease, on the crease side of my Elbow/forearm. I also believe this could help my shoulder pain. And doing these stretches make me realize the lack of mobility in my wrist I have.
Thank you so much, this is the first helpful video about this problem
I was doing 75 lb bicep curls which is normal weight for me
My right arm was fine then I switched to my left arm and I felt the strength slip as the weight went down and as It went down I felt something tear inside my bicep
No bruising no swelling
First night I was in so much pain if anything touched my bicep I wanted to cry
Then it faded but persisted where if I flex and pretend to do a hammer curl there is sharp pain on the right side of my bicep
It's been over 5 months and It still hasn't healed yet
I've been able to do bench press and push exercises just fine, but I cant do any pull exercises
When It first started I couldn't even pick up weights with my left arm, even now I try not to move weights with my left arm
Idk if I need surgery to fix this or if its something that's just gonna take a long ass time to heal
My gym gains have lacked severely and I have a hard time doing any serious workouts as I cant do pull exercises with my left arm at all
Thank you!
Fantastic when from 100 to 0 pain, thank you!
Stop lying you fucking dumbass sped
Thank you Dr. Roddman, that was very informative and interesting.
Bro I do arm wrestling and this gives me very problem . I rest for 2 weeks and do 2 arm wrestling and rest 2 weeks.
Thank you very much ❤
Waaawww thanks a lot doc
Was suffering for months
Thanks so much, instant pain relief! Also now I notice my arms being crooked haha. Thank you!!
Thank you , i will definitely try the remedy
Thank you sir!
Thank you for this video.
Thank u for this vid doctor this helped me so much
awesome! ive been having this exact pain
Thank you so much
It is very annoying it hurts like hell, not only this but also my shoulders blocking me from enjoying my chest and biceps exercises.
Thank you sir helped alot
but what if i get pain around mid ulna from heavy bicep curls and bench press
Any explanation as to why any time I pick up a barbell of any sort and start doing curls I feel some pain in my Ulna and when I let go of the weight the pain shoots to a good 9 for like 2-3 seconds. Whenever I do curls with dumbbells doesn’t hurt as much and even with hammer curls I don’t get any pain at all but it’s feels like it’s specifically the bone that really hurts not the muscle
Did you fix it? I have the exact same issue.
Thanks a lot ... 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks!
I'm 41 and never realized my LFA was pronated. I've known since about 13 that my L shoulder didn't have the same ROM as my R, but my L ulnar area has been killing me on a cambered curl bar.
My forearm has only been hurting when I pick up something 5 lbs or heavier or turn my arms sideways. It's been like this for 3 weeks. I just did the stretch and I guess it helped a little but I'll continue doing the stretch every morning
When doing curls, my forearm feels like it's going to explode because the much pump it has, and hurts right in the middle of the muscles. But as soon i finish the sets 1-3 it will go away.
It's been a month since I have injured my forearm while bicep curl ...the muscle of that particular point pains a lot I can't even do a single push up now .my muscle kinda swollen in that area I can feel a bump.. i have already seeked doctor ...even that can't help me 😢I don't understand what should I do.!!! 😭😭
One of your tendons may be broken. Not sure exactly. But you should get help form a specialist
I will try this and see if it helps. My current issue is all around the elbow with the forearm and bicep. then shooting pains on occasion up my arm to my shoulder. I know it is all related. The most pain is from when lifting a water bottle in a hammer curl position. Mainly the upper 5% of the lift. Also pain when I rotate my from palm up to palm down. As far as I can tell it is mainly a forearm muscle issue. I have been using a thera-band and doing curls and rotations. Trying to move slowly and going through full range of motion. I have also been doing some forearm stretches because that one muscle does feel sore and tight. The majority of the pain is in the lower bicep fully curled upwards making me very weak in the arm.
Any suggestions for exercises and or a sleeve to help support the muscles and tendons??
Great vid
THANKYOU
i get sharp pain in my wrists when i do wrist curls

If this works for me I will be so grateful

My pain higher up finding it hard to find info on this area
I have been doing 500-700 reps with 15lb dumbbells for about a year and keep feeling more frequent tingling on my thumb tips and index fingertips that often lasts most of the day. The only other exercises I am doing are bodyweight arm swing squats and riding a spin bike.
Can high repetition dumbbell curls cause tingling in the thumbs and index fingers similar to carpal tunnel?
How can I exercise my biceps and arms and not cause these symptoms?
How can I reverse the symptoms?
I can't hear a word of this on full volume.
What? Can't hear you.
I feel pain in inside forearm
Same is there anything that helps?
@@jackmariscal2381 nope
That’s muscle getting stronger but u can massage the forearm, do it a little roughly while pressing with your finger
think that’s tendon pain, it goes away after you workout for a while
@@jackmariscal2381 maybe you need a augmented forearm.
