The fact you had to say have a look at a mower 4hours away was a lie you were gonna get it the moment you decided to make the trip😂😂 Simms will be hopeful you load it up and take it for a trip to his place over summer👍👍
I know but you can never tell when you are buying privately however when I had a look over it, I knew it was a good thing
@@theaussielawn I have 2 rideons from impulse buying both go algood need to tidy one up and sell it but was good when I blew the tire on the 1st one, just got the other other and mowed the rest of the lawn😂😂

I live a few minutes away from where the last bit of timelapse was filmed. Plenty of nice BIG lawns around here. Enjoy the new machine

This is awesome. Looking forward to see it in action on the lawn when your growing season kicks off. The Toro triplex mowers were always one my favorites to use when I worked on a golf course

What a great machine, CONGRATS.I remember when we went from the pedal lift and cable steer to the micro switch lift and hydraulics, exciting times.
I run a 3150 at my place, these days I have my turf set up like a fairway and rough so turning after each run can be kept on the turf and not bounce onto the gravel drive, also allows me to cut the rough section not as frequently as the fairway

I remember pedals and cable steer on a GM300 we had with the rectangle steering wheel what a beast it was

How old are those hydraulic drive hoses? 🤔
Hmm some are pretty new, none are noticeably poor or cracked etc. But yeah its always a risk 😬
Yeh, I was thinking about that. Hydraulic oil is not the best lawn fertiliser

@@marqueswilsonn it’s illegal to dock a tail in Australia. Adding to that it’s really interesting with Max having his tail you can read so much about his mood by the way he holds that tail even the way he curls up upwards tells me exactly what his feeling / mood etc . I wouldn’t have him another way 😎
@@theaussielawn the docked tail can still wag and tuck and point and alert. That’s dumb that you can’t dock tails. Docked plenty of tails back in the day.

It's the old story you get what you pay for mate and you want to be sure you buy one thats in sound condition or you'll tip thousands into it. You'll pay north of $5k most 2nd hand dealers are about 10-15k for a higher hour machine. I paid bout $5500 from memory
@@theaussielawn $5500 for a 3250D that's a steal !! Unless its a typo or I am misunderstanding. Here in QLD they are going well north of 15k even up to 18k. Price may of jumped massively in the last few years I feel.
