Escaping Lucas is awesome. The chase is amazing with the game rules. Smart enemies in video games is scary because the player can lose if he doesn’t build skills. Imagine two Lucas chase in different world levels. The creepy mood makes it more funny.

I have to admit, I kind of prefer this version over the new one. I really like how the level has a moderate size but requires the player to actually outsmart MX in order to progress and dodge him. Not to mention the horrifying transition between the "small" MX and this abomination jumping out of the void. Don't get me wrong, the new version is alright. I just think these elements that lack now, in the new version, had a stronger impact on the player than just running and dodging everything in one go.
Imagine playing this as a kid in the 80s with only the light of the tv in your living room. And you warped into a wrong pipe. I wish they made this the minus world stage....

That came to be when Lucas received a birthday gift of Super Mario Brothers back in the 1980s. Unfortunately for Lucas, he received a Super Mario Brothers cartridge with an evil spirit housed into it, known as MX. After Lucas has beaten the game, he died and ended up trapped inside the video game with MX. And now for eternity, Lucas is doomed to play as Luigi, and to be perpetually chased by MX throughout the game while given infinite lives so MX could kill him infinitely in the game with great malice and sadist.
