Technically speaking, you kill or harm one, it happens to both. While the speedsters are split like that, their attacks and ability to tank a hit should be increased simply due to speed being part of the equation now.
Two things I never understood about speed mirages are: 1) how are you able to move to the exact same spot, in order to make a clean after image? I assure you you’re going to be off by a couple of centimeters. 2) how is barry making a speed mirage who is jumping? That would mean he jumps, stops midair, goes to the right side, starts jumping here as well, stops midair here as well, move back to left side, repeat.

Not only is it weird, but it also makes no sense seeing Barry attack from two sides at the same time. How is he stopping mid air on the left, and then jumping on the right? This means that at his maximum, he's several times faster than the speed of light. Saitama, on the other hand, can generate hundreds of afterimages just by jumping from side to side.

Damn straight reverse flash created a speed mirage and ran in 2 different directions while flash and Nora was chasing of him like it was nothing and it looked as if they didn’t even notice at the end of season 5
The writers of the show forgot that you can't speed mirage while jumping through the air.

Technically speaking, you kill or harm one, it happens to both. While the speedsters are split like that, their attacks and ability to tank a hit should be increased simply due to speed being part of the equation now.
Of course it happens to both cuz there's only one, it's an optical illusion, if you could perceive time slowly you'd see them moving side to side

I wanted to say about him
Two things I never understood about speed mirages are:
1) how are you able to move to the exact same spot, in order to make a clean after image? I assure you you’re going to be off by a couple of centimeters.
2) how is barry making a speed mirage who is jumping? That would mean he jumps, stops midair, goes to the right side, starts jumping here as well, stops midair here as well, move back to left side, repeat.
Also, why? Like they serve no combat purpose if he’s just moving back and forth, it only looks like there is two, why not just attack the enemy?
@@alphonsokillen3505 yes! Only instance i can see it being useful is against another speedster, which may be advantageous to deceive the fast enemy. But the moment you get close enough, choose a side. Left or right. And attack from there. Or better yet, choose the side the enemy isnt attacking (say the enemy speedster decides to attack the left Mirage, you move to the right).
Not only is it weird, but it also makes no sense seeing Barry attack from two sides at the same time. How is he stopping mid air on the left, and then jumping on the right? Just to make it look like he’s jumping from both sides?? That would mean he’s able to cancel his momentum mid air which makes no sense?????
