    I'm loving the new format with keeping the head sheets diagrams in the corners! it really helps me understand the shape you're creating.

    Love it! I tried it a couple times on heavier hair types. It looked and styled pretty cool, and it even looks great on wavy/curly hair types.

    Awesome! Gonna try this on one of clients coming in that has thick, wavy hair. I love the haircut, but I kind of don't like how the back length of the hair looks a little thin and stringy. I will use this cut but probably go back and point cut a little off the length to make the base look a little fuller.

    this is GREAT! I can totally see where the weight is and it does make the cut look modern, which is very important because traditional layered cuts can seem outdated and that's when the client says, "I'm not sure what I don't like about my cut"....I just had an epiphany lol thanks for the video, I have a client I'll be doing this on, her hair is so thick sometimes all the color doesn't wash out and I need to wash again! love this video

    I wish I could find a stylist that actually sections the hair like this. Everyone seems to just grab sections randomly and starts whacking away- like Edward Scissorhands.

    I'd like to see more layered haircuts for thick asian hair! I find it hard for me to give a very blended haircut for that kind of hair so if you guys have any tips on how to cut asian women's hair it would be awesome ! Thank you☺️😅

    Really pretty and a cut I will be using in the future! My question is, when you're blow drying do you make sure to blow dry the roots completely before round brushing? Thank you! I'm sorry of a new stylist again.

    I cut to the major rounds and dips of the head, as well as the texture of their hair. Weight can build up easy in these areas of the head. Also if you're not paying attention to their hair texture, you can take too much weight, then the haircut won't have enough support.

    Looks awesome the way you dried it too. I do not want the bottom so layered on long hair, it appears to look stringy and thin there. Why no perimeter shaping, is that too old school?

    I was wondering about your body positioning. You said you always want to keep your combing going towards the guide. The first side you are pulling the hair to the guide, and the second side you are pushing it to the guide. I was wondering if you ever have any problems with consistency. I was always taught to switch my body position so the guide is always on my side, but I hate it! I would much rather work around the head like you do.

    Is there a difference between layering with the round of the head and round layering? Or is just the way we all choose to look at it?

    • @braydenmcgowan95
      @braydenmcgowan95 6 років тому

      wasdwasd24 Round layers are a shape of layering created with concave and convex sections around the head. The round shape will travel from short in the front to long in the back. Layering with the round of the head is a Milady 90 degree, also known as convex layers.

    And again, I'm really curious is to what your thought of a concave layer is. So far I don't agree with you on that. It looks more like a convex, not a concave to me. It does look like a concave in the blueprints, but your finger angle in the video doesn't look like that.
