I would love to see more of this type of content. How do you actually organize and deal with all the produce coming in! Share all the mess and kitchen tips and tricks. It can be overwhelming to find the time to deal with it all coming in at once, would love to see more of how you do it!
This video brough me tearful joy. This is where I *should* be... BUT, my husband suffered a seizure, diagnosis of glioblastoma (aggressive brain tumors) radiation, chemo....and passing away....all within 9 months this year! Fortunately, we have a massive pantry, orchard, perennials...and children that could "get us through". This is a very quiet harvest year for us. Solemn is the word. We know what to do moving forward. And channels like yours keep visions of our future "bright". Thank you for sharing this vision as a reminder!
Love the glimpse of a crazy busy harvest day. Love seeing working kitchens in action. Makes it real and not lights and camera. Cheese and sourdough look amazing. Thank you
I agree with everyone! I loved this look inside your harvest time. So inspiring and as a young mother, it’s amazing to see how your girls are helping and doing their own thing. It gives me something to look forward to!
School of Traditional Skills has been so wonderful the last few days.❤ it's a free online school that Josh and Carolyn and friends are doing this week. Lots of great speakers and information on how to improve Homesteading and life skills.
I just received your freeze drying book that had I pre ordered. LOVE IT! Even though I’ve been freeze drying a couple years now I’m learning. And I’m only on page 18. It’s beautifully done. This is going to take me a long time, I’ll have to take on vacation to read through. And can’t wait to start using the recipes. Thank you so much!
WOW ladies (and gents in the background) what an incredible bounty you have! So inspiring! Thank you for sharing with us all!! Much love from the Midwest US 💖
I just received your freeze drying the harvest book in the mail! I pre-ordered it months ago and it is finally here… and it is absolutely gorgeous! I cannot wait to dig into this book!
God bless y’all! Love to see working together! Pray for Justin’s wife (Rebecca) mom! Pray for everyone to get closer to God and to trust in his Mercy! Amen!❤
Great channel. A quick gland through some of your videos and I don't see one on honey bees. Wondering how you have such great gardens and crops without having bee hives.
Everything looks amazing. The garden and the food and the house, littered with the real life of harvesting so much stuff. Everyone helping with something. Love this so much. ❤ I'm going to pick my raspberry leaves thanks I never thought to do that
I so enjoyed your video. Reminded me of what it was like when I grew up in my Italian farmhouse. I’m still in a farmhouse but being in our seventies we can and I bake and support our local farmers 😊thank you for sharing.
It's nice to see another vidio is been awhile for me so I'll need to go back and see if I've missed something! That triple screen is hard on my eyes though lol i hope it stops soon!
Ohh so much fun! High desert living doesn't lend itself to such harvest. This week I'm drying mullein, grape juice-48 quarts so far plus another 12 today, graoe fruit leather should be about ready in dehydrator-first time trying that! Married daughter made a double batch of chili and after eating on it for 4 days we are canning up the rest. Also making up/canning 2 soups for my mother with dementia 😢
I really need to get back to trying to make cheese. I have your class and bought everything and never did make cheese. I'm waiting for the papers to be signed so we can buy raw milk in our state!!!
Just trying to get a message through about the classes today. Many of us in Florida & Georgia are busy cleaning up after Hurricane Helene & won’t be able to watch today. Will we be able to watch replays?
Did you enlarge your kitchen from the original? It’s nice sized and looks very well organized. We went from a country kitchen to a small kitchen and my equipment is spilling over into the living room. 🤷♀️
Pesto grilled cheese!!! Making me hungry.😊. I think I'll make one later today with tomato soup or broccoli cheddar soup. Question - that is a lot of Sour Dough, what do you do to keep it from becoming too hard?
with smaller batches of veggies I put together a vegetable soup and can it. with fruits I can freeze and use to make smoothies or small cupcakes size tarts or mix into making ice cream Freeze dry into powder or dehydrated to add int oatmeal for breakfast.
Love you Gies but not this video. The Cell phone pic in middle of regular screen was too busy.Would rather have just regular screen to see all the harvest. Many Blessings

Praying for you and your family right now!
Prayers and hugs. May you feel God's comfort during your season of trial.
Glad to see a productive family homestead. Reminds me of canning day at grandmas. Made me smile
Nice seeing the difference between your working household kitchen and your area where you do videos usually.

I agree with everyone! I loved this look inside your harvest time. So inspiring and as a young mother, it’s amazing to see how your girls are helping and doing their own thing. It gives me something to look forward to!
The best part of your harvest kitchen are the many hands helping. That also is your gift to your children.
So great to see all the bounty! And those many hands make, fairly, light work. :)
Goodness, how wonderful to have so many things happening at once! I'm a solo backyard homesteader and have quite a time trying to get everything done!
Wowza, awesome momma as you have taught your daughters life skills from garden to kitchen . Lovely team-work !
I love how everything is hanging in the kitchen! The bounty!
It’s fun to see all your harvest and the kids helping you put it all up. Have a great week. Cheers!❤

I love the herbs hanging overhead in the kitchen!
Great channel. A quick gland through some of your videos and I don't see one on honey bees. Wondering how you have such great gardens and crops without having bee hives.
Oh my goodness, just wanted to mention your freeze dry book, just took a glance and it is the best book I have ever bought on freeze drying.

I have raspberries n never heard of that
Funnest video ever
Homemade parmesan?!!! ❤
That was amazing!
How do you get your kiddos to help and be respectful and kind?
I really need to get back to trying to make cheese. I have your class and bought everything and never did make cheese. I'm waiting for the papers to be signed so we can buy raw milk in our state!!!
That corn "silk" is a good source of silica.
Interested in the corn silk silica can you send me information
You can do raspberry leaves!? Don’t have a video on that?
Yes, raspberry leaf tea is good for uterine health. ❤
Yes, we make tea with the raspberry leaves.
Hi! What corn variety did you grow!? Love this!!

Everything looks fantastic. What was the fruit in the last basket shown?
It may have been plums.
Pesto grilled cheese!!! Making me hungry.😊. I think I'll make one later today with tomato soup or broccoli cheddar soup.
Question - that is a lot of Sour Dough, what do you do to keep it from becoming too hard?
Beautiful! Curious what you do with some of the smaller batches and odds and ends of things? Not enough to preserve necessarily . . . ?
with smaller batches of veggies I put together a vegetable soup and can it. with fruits I can freeze and use to make smoothies or small cupcakes size tarts or mix into making ice cream Freeze dry into powder or dehydrated to add int oatmeal for breakfast.
What’s the name of your purple green beans? I’m growing them from seeds that I saved from a friend but neither of us know what kind they are. Thanks!
Love you Gies but not this video. The Cell phone pic in middle of regular screen was too busy.Would rather
have just regular screen to see all the harvest. Many Blessings
What do you do with all the radishes?
I think those might have been plums that you saw.
What do you do with all those radishes?!?
Those were actually plums. We will make jelly with them.
