"not good enough" - yea, i'm familiar with this one - the real pandamic, if you ask me ;) I'm glad you guys don't give up and keep your unique style. It might not be for everybody but i'm digging it so much :D
Opinions of others and what people around us compares us to really gets into my head. Being in a position where I'm still struggle to get to where I wanted to be is not an easy one. Thanks for sharing this and making this video! Give me something to look to, and remind myself to focus on my own growth once more. Your videos might not be the best in the world, but it sure means something for others! ❤️
Don't let opinions get to you...you can listen but if it doesn't resonate for you and your own life, let it go. "To thine own self be true." I suppose this also works for, stop comparing. Good advice, thanks for the video!
And definitely also important: it's not a race, it's a journey and everyone's journey and way of travel is different ❤️ some choose to travel together and some rather go solo, but you'll meet other journey-takers along the way :) Beautiful video, thank you 💕
Those who make fun of others are generally very small people with their own insecurities. I'm loving your videos .... keep up the great work .... it's inspiring!!
2. Opinions. When you mentioned "even the opinion of the people closest to you, the people that you love and care about, may not always be ones that point you in the best direction".. I guess you must have gone through a lot. Btw, everything else resonates too. Thank you.
HL and Glo have really stepped up their visual storytelling game! The “long exposure” effect during the “don’t let opinions get to you” rule, the card games throughout the “don’t compare” rule- I’m always delighted by how you’re able to shoot creatively. I personally struggle with comparison most and I’m working on recognizing we’re all in our own “starting points” and “finishing lines.” Thanks for another thought-worthy video, Thoughtworthy Co!
I liked when you said: Don't let opinions get to you. I guess this in not easy when you put your live into the internet. What people say about you, sometimes says more about the people than about you.
I love this content! very relaxed and informative. I appreciated the extracting juice from the orange with the "extracting value from the right opinions" what resonated with me the most was point number 1. I remember one time I said to my parents "I want to fail, and I want to fail a lot!" They looked at me like I was insane because inherently no one wants to fail. What I forgot to mention was the principle behind my failing statement: with more failures, there's more learning opportunities and more steps towards what we want to achieve. It also trains your mind for future failures and 'out of your comfort zone' opportunities.
Haha for sure, nobody goes into something "planning" to fail. Failure is just a natural by-product of trying. Gotta embrace the process! 🙌 Thanks for the comment!
I just discovered your channel and am watching all your videos. I find them to be calming, inspiring and full of wisdom explained simply. Thank you for your work. 🙏🏻🕊
Ooh that would be an interesting video that we can consider making, although our creation process is all over the place, tbh 🤣 Anyway thank you so much for the nice words! 🙌💖
Great lessons, than you! I found your channel today and it is a jackpot for me! I am 53, living in Germany, and looking for my way to live better, healthier, happier....and you guys are helping me. Great!
Hello, thank you for these lessons. I appreciate these, guys. Please don’t stop making these kinds of content because you are helping many ppl thru these vids.
I just discovered your channel and I love the wisdom and experience you share to help individuals and couples grow where it matters. Great content, narrative. Keep up the good work!
I fail all the time in my job. Sometimes I need to in order to find out what not to do or what doesn't work. I am an artist/crafts person/ repair tech in my shop and I fail all the time but I don't let that get to me because it forces you to look for solutions to the problem. Also, your early videos are not bad. All of your work has had a certain polish to them and they look very good.
The first two points are very obvious (but hard). I was still surprised that you took your channel and art as examples that make or made you insecure at some point. To me, your work seems so sleek and thought through that I would undoubdtedly take you as an inspiration if I ever tried to start a channel myself again. You are doing great!
Thanks for that! 🙌 Every video and every piece of drawing that's been published had to be done and redone many, many times before we can feel confident and comfortable about them 😅 Yikes, the hours spent getting over those insecurities - we are our worst critics! But we're always very happy that there are people out there who enjoy and appreciate our work 💕 Yup, actually, we would even say that all four points can be considered obvious (but not easy, like you said) rules to follow. We're hoping they can be reminders for ourselves and our viewers on some of the things that most of us already know we should be doing, to keep our minds healthy :) Best wishes and Happy New Year!
Thank you, guys for your uplifting videos, it’s always a pleasure to watch! Sunshine is contageous, so pls keep spreading it! Everyone needs it 🤗 It takes maturity not to care too much about others’ opinion or to let yourself fail without feeling bad about it. I’m not sure a sense of humor is something one can learn, but hopefully it comes with letting things go. 😌
I found your site today and can’t stop watching. You guys a wonderful, insightful and a joy to watch. Very inspiring. As I age, I can see I need more exercise and how you use your home for exercise helps me to figure out ways to use my home for exercise. Thank you so much. Ann from Vancouver , Canada 🇨🇦
It's our life, so decide to do what we want at our own pace. We don't need to be conform to the norm as each of us is an unique individual, a Masterpiece! So there's no fall back, no need to catch up. We just need to really Live our life, and enjoy it.
Thank you! 😁 Enjoy the rest of of the year and all best to you for 2021 as well. Oh, but we'll have one more video for 2020 so hopefully we'll see you in that one too!
Great video and a nice motivating topic! One question I ask myself now is: How to "not care" about other people's opinions? How to get more comftable with yourself? Is this concentration on yourself just egoism or is it a good armor for protection? And the last question: Are all those questions before just a sign of self doubt? Greetings from Germany and stay healthy :)
Very good questions. Would be interesting to know what sort of answers you find when you ask yourself those questions (only if you don't mind sharing, of course!). Stay safe, and enjoy the rest of the year! :)
I was greatly struck with number 2: Don't let opinions get to you. Most often than not i tend to rely on other people's opinions about me. I am slowly overcoming it though. And with baby steps i am hoping that i will soon be able to focus more on what fits my personality and life. It's kinda sickening to listen to everybody's opinion sometimes.
I am very interested in your table wthe legs that you can just remove. Is it from IKEA? What is the model called? Would be very interested to know - it is great and just what I am looking for. Thanks and greetings from Switzerland.
Oh so from your post - I normally click your videos VERY FAST but because of this title I didn't want to. I even tried to watch this video a few days ago but kept stopping. This for me is because 'how to be happier' type of videos all seem to have the same advice, very 'School of life' or 'Nathaniel Drew' and if I wanted that I'd go to those channels. But because of your post i decided to watch this all the way through and honestly didn't enjoy it soo much and not because it sucked. The editing is beautiful, especially the clothes throwing. I just think the topic is boring for me and not why I watch your channel - perhaps you have an older audience? Your channel is more unique for me. You produce content about topics I don't spend enough time thinking about. Like why you sit on the floor or fun ones showing you can be messy sometimes which was done in a fun way. I'd love to see a minimal outlook on finances video. Maybe this gives you some insight. Love you both! Love the channel! Can't wait to buy merch!
Thank you so much for the wonderful feedback, this is super helpful. And totally appreciate that you actually sat through the entire video before commenting 🙏 We'll be keeping them in mind. Enjoy the holiday season 💕
If it cheers u guys up, your work was good enough that Noah Kagan, founder of app sumo used it as B-Roll in this video: ua-cam.com/video/ld5csJywEXw/v-deo.html Btw I love your work and production value, and I definitely do see why u guys feel this is one of your best work!
Oh cool, never knew about that one! (maybe due to the fact that he didn't seem to have credited us with the clip 😂) Anyway, thanks for the encouraging words! 🙏

Knowing that fail is a common thing shared by everyone is the biggest learning I’m made. And it is not teach in school !
"fail more often. Fail faster, because thats how I could learn and grow faster" wow, powerful! Greetings from PR 🇵🇷.
I always feel so happy when I see a new thoughtworthy video in my feed! Looking up to you guys and rooting for you 🏋️
