- The initial checkout of a Super Vac Ventilating Systems 16" Smoke Ejector fan, model P164S. This unit is designed for use by firefighters to ventilate buildings under hazardous conditions including smoke and carbon monoxide.
The unit is rated for 3,200 CFM and is very heavy at 44 pounds. It utilizes a centrifugal-start shaded pole 1,725 RPM General Electric motor with sleeve bearings. It is rated at 5.4 amps running current.
It is an extremely powerful fan for the size. The blade has quite interesting aerodynamics. It runs very smooth and balanced with relatively low noise considering the performance it achieves. - Наука та технологія
Damn, what a powerful fan. Definitely a well made fan
That is one beastly looking fan. that would make for an insane Shop exhaust fan.
Indeed.
Dope ass fan hope you can clean it up and oil it soon - impressive performance
Fun starts at 3:16
That is one hell of a fan! Sure blows up a storm! I love the sound of it too.
Indeed.
Pretty cool fan bro and it’s super powerful I enjoyed the video
Thanks bro glad you enjoyed it.
Oh yeah I see those monsters everywhere particularly online and a few in public. I'm sure it's pretty dadgum powerful with that GE motor on it. This almost looks like my Wizard box fan with the blade style and guards. It would be cool if you could find one of those I guarantee you would like it lol. I enjoyed the video of this Vac exhaust fan Jordan.
Got one of these at the fire department I volunteer at
The only purpose-built exhaust fan that would be on par or maybe even better would be an antique ILG fan. Those were beasts and it would be nice if Jordan could get one of those.
Thanks for letting me know.
Excellent initial checkout of this Super vac ventilating systems fan I enjoyed it bro
Glad you enjoyed it.
Now that’s an aggressively powerful fan. It sounds like a leaf blower when it’s running.
Indeed.
👍🏻
I like it
That is the most craziest fan I've ever seen I never knew those existed If I have seen one maybe it's in a workshop area But I think this is a first My mind has been blown away LOL just for a joke but this is totally awesome I don't know where you get some of these things that I have never even heard of
When. GE was made properly
This is a good quality motor.
I have never seen a fan like this before. Where did you get it?
A private estate sale.
They use a fan similar to that at the base of grain storage bins that blow air up through the bins to expel flammable gasses that generate in the decaying grain or corn.
Thanks for letting me know.
Now that's a fan for you how many rpms does it spin?
Watch video/read description for that information.
Now that's a box fan
This is beyond a box fan.
I realize the fan was spinning backwards
The fan was not spinning backwards.
@@JordanU I thought it was supposed to be blowing out the front
❤
