This is a great video! Regarding the water build up on the Fedders unit in the kitchen, I can help with that. There's actually two channels to drain condensate under the bulkhead to the back of the unit. For this reason, I drilled three drain holes in mine - 2 on each size, and one under the fan. I filmed the details of this modification on my A1M10E2A unit and it's on my ch@nnel.
On your large Carrier, use stainless steel screen to fill those large holes in the bottom and apply fiberglass to the top and bottom of the screen. This will make for a very solid repair. On your Friedrich unit, let it run a good long time to allow the oil to work its way through. Depending on the compressor, the oil helps seal for higher compression and a long run time will cause a unit that sat unused to “wake up” in sorts.
Did your family love your house upgrades at your party? Were they impressed with all the work you've done? You've done a fantastic job in my opinion and I've haven't been in your house.
Your installs look great! Good choice of units too! Hope to see that old EQK installed someday!

Good video on running vintage fans and air conditioners during this humid day I can't wait for more videos coming soon bro
Throw in the carrier international 7500 in the computer room it could be the perfect size.

I feel the Friedrich is a bit under sized for the computer room it's cooling, I would probably upgrade to a larger unit.
I would switch out the Friedrich for the 1996 Carrier or perhaps the 1970s EQK.
It will be staying for a while as it's the only unit I have that fits in that window well, but eventually I'll figure out something else.
i like it
