- In this eye-opening video, we dive deep into the striking statistic that suggests there are 27 empty houses for every homeless person in the United States. With approximately 17 million vacant housing units and around 600,000 individuals experiencing homelessness, this ratio raises important questions about the state of housing in America. But is this statistic as straightforward as it seems? Join us as we explore the complexities behind this claim, including the condition and location of vacant homes, the geographic mismatch between available housing and homeless populations, and the broader implications for addressing homelessness. We’ll uncover why simply reallocating empty houses isn’t a viable solution and discuss what it truly takes to create affordable housing where it’s needed most. Huh! Nomads before colonialism and hundred thousands years ago work and moved with their community and they chose, majority, to be nomadic due to their position in the planet's eco system. To not abuse the very planet that provides to them. Today's capitalistic society is the opposite of all the above.
This video reminds me why we have a 2nd Amendment.
but captilism is great for the economy, and real estate is booming sorry cant just give shelter for free. supermarkets would also rather throw food than give it away for the same reason
