I was searching one sentence "how you doing" and I found your lesson. I just watched your one lesson and I decided to learn Arabic. The way you teach is fantabulous. Wish me all the best to learn Arabic. And thank you very much.
I wish you a good journey on the way of learning it, it's an amazing language, I've been learning it for more than 10 years, and I'm still in love with it!! So happy that there are more and more people who decide to study it ☺️
I am a native Arabic speaker . If you want to practice and learn Arabic, contact me on Instagram: instagram.com/mala___k___/
I've lived in Khaleej for the last ten years and this is the best Arabic teaching style I've experienced! Keep it up Maha
Eib is used almost in whole of south Asia and south east Asia. Great lesson.
+anatolia
By which languages?
I speak to people of alot of southasian countries and am southasian myself what are you talking about nobody does that here
I loved this lesson. The amount of personal experience and insight reflected in you demeanor and energy. الف شكر
I learned a few arabic from you for 1 hour watching. You pronounciation is very clear.. I liked it.. God bless you teacher Maha..
Thank you very much for all the dialect insights you've shown us on this crash course; I started studying arabic out of keeping my palestinian granny memory alive 25 years ago. She died when I was a child of 8. I get by in fusha quite well; I grasped a bit of dariyah in Morocco as well. But I hadn't had a chance to get acquainted with 'ammiye yet. Thanks again for all your good vibes and mediterranean spirit .
Thank you for opening your heart and your stories to share with us.
أظن أن هذا الدرس جميل جدا! ألف شكر يا مها! 👏👏👏
Love your energy! You're a wonderful teacher Maha!
Thank you Maha for teaching this " expression"
Thank you very much for this interesting and funny way of learning Arabic. I very much enjoy learning more about this beautiful language and culture. Very useful lesson again :-) !
Hi Maha, thank you, that was a fantastic lesson. Your ability to communicate ideas clearly using ‘real world’ examples is very effective. I congratulate you on that, and hope to join one of your courses in Palestine when this horrible virus is under control. Greetings and best wishes to you from Ireland.

عيب عليك
thank you teach Maha. i enjoy lesson from you. :)
Great lesson, Maha!!
Arabs are one of good functioning civilizations despite they live mostly in deserted terrain. It is my opinion.
I love watching you.... Very informative, very helpful, interesting...... Because I have many friends Arab people..... And also my son is half Arab...... 😍😍🙂❤️❤️❤️
Oh that's nice
Best wishes from India ☺
Thanks for your teaching
I used to see your videos on learning Italian ages ago, hope you are doing well.
Hi miss Maha.. I'm a Filipina. And I've been following your teaching for a year already.. You are a good teacher.. I really want to speak Arabic. Love lots. I hope you can see my comment now.. 💞
Hi maha I am from Burkina Faso in west Africa, I really appreciate your job,God bless you in Jesu's name, amen.🙏
my palestinian friends say this and i never knew what it meant lol now i can say it to them when they do something 3eib 😂

Thanks
Good work MAHA
Thank you so much, it’s always fun to watch your videos
I hear this on MBC soap drama trailer. This sentence is very clearly heard and written in your ears.
Thinks, sister maha ,
Very useful lesson found here
Thank you bella!! I would like have your book!!!
I am ashamed of myself. Why didn't I learn Arabic then. I had roomates from Palestine when I was younger.
Never too late :)
In Indonesian language, we also use that word 'aib as a badness
its arabic loan word ?
@@ICanSpeakArabic hmm maybe like that. But some Indonesian words are same as Arabic
bahasa indo/ malayu took many words from arabic. i guess its because of the religional influenced
We also use Arabic word "3yb olsun sene " -" let it be 3yb on you" in Azerbaijan
@@ICanSpeakArabic the slavemasters were arab
Asalamualaikum ma'am we always use Eeb in Urdu n also in kashmiri in the same way as you r teaching ☺️☺️☺️☺️
*شكرا و يعطيك العافية.*
Good work, keep on doing.. hope you are doing well...God Bless You
We says also عيب in bahasa Indonesia Aib, same meaning
Salam from Chaudhry sufyan, madam, really i always love your way
energetic, charming , and fun teacher !
في العربية الفصحى: عارٌ عليك.
قال الشاعر:
لا تنه عن خلقٍ وتأتي مثله *** عارٌ عليك إذا فعلت عظيم
نعم و لكن اضن ان 'عار عليك' معنى أقوى كثيرا من 'عيب عليك'
You are great ...Assalamou Alikoum to you from Virginia ...I,am Moroccan & can speak most of Arabic dialects + French & English ...
I know it all...
Shukran Maha, u are a great teacher. May God bless u
Miss you maha 😢
Very nice video
Eib is for shameful things but glad I learned the verb istiha now.
I love your videos! I learn so much just watching! What films do you suggest to watch to practice listening to spoken Arabic? I’d love a video on best films and music to listen to so I can improve Arabic!
You are very beautiful, dear Maha ! No matter Arabic lesson today for me. I m just watching and listening 👂! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Maha nice teacher very funny joking smiles, make lesson amazing
Such an interesting lesson... Teaching shame isn't the first thing that comes to mind. Lol I suppose it's cultural.
I love her Wallahi.Maha enti halwa
شکرا جزیلا لک یا مها! انت معلمه جمیله و جباره ....انا اتعلم کثیرا منک، الله یحفظک:*
I think by aeeb ! Its closer to the English word behave ! As in like behave yourself !
3eib means "Inappropriate", not necessarily "Shame". So whenever a situation isn't appropriate, 3eib is the best adjective to use.
Your script of the letter "^ayn" is good.
Another awesome lesson
Wow, just learned so something new! I speak Syrian, Masri, Iraqi, and Tunisian Arabic at home. We just say "عيب عليك"😅
Love u my sis ❤️
I am happy to learning with maha.
Salaam Maha! hadahi Alicia. Shukran ila darras. For the next darras, could you teach us how to tell the time? Shukran.
good idea, i also strugle on telling the time in arabic.
We use ''3eb'' in Turkish literally with same meaning. Also we conjugate it different ways, additionaly we use this word as a verb. İ think we Turks have advantage to understand many of arabic world due to we use these words with literally or close meanings.
Maha Happy new year
Nice!! In Moroccan arabic you hear "7hshouma" (7ha-SHOU-ma) a lot, but I dont know if other Arabs also use it
Nice!!! I love u Maha, hope to see u in Miami at least once!
Excellent
Thank you for another great video Maha! Your story of your grandfather had me laughing really hard! I could picture him laying there, 😂Thanks for sharing that. 3ndi su2al. Mumkin Tisdaqdem kaman il mustalahat : “y3ib ishoom alayk”?
Smae3t hadil mustalahat min abel bas ma Kent ba3rif shou il m3ena il kelima “ishoom.” Ya3ni except that it means altogether shame on you.
Hi Maha, can you do a video about common Proverbs we use? Specially include "هذا موت و خراب ديار "😁
Hi Maha, I just sent you a comment in your Easter video, and then I found this new one. I'm very frustrated trying to find your Palestinian arabic videos. It seems you don't give this course with the same name, that is Lesson 1, Lesson 2, Lesson 3, etc. I can find lessons one and 2 but not 3+. So it's hard to find all the videos in a course. I seem to be the only one having this problem. How can I find them all since they aren't named consecutively? Thanks.
maashallah yaa okty
Jazakallah khair
Jesus is Risen!May He bless our families and our souls!
God we bless us not jesus
@@algerianmermaid yes my friend,God,through His Son,Jesus.
Thank you I totally forgot tgat word. Are you still in quarantine in Italy? What do you mean Latin
It sounds like عيب (Eeb) kind of means rude. Like "it's rude not to go" or "it's rude to eat with your hands."
that's only one of the meanings of the word
@@AysarAburrub Are you saying that the meaning is more nuanced than just "rude"? (If so, could you please explain so that I understand better.) Or are you saying that there are other completely separate meanings for the word? If you could provide a few examples that might help.
@@hannayaklin1233 Eeb is more nuanced than just pure rudeness, and it's a more encompassing term that touches on the topics of morality and social/cultural taboos. For example, a woman wearing skimpy clothes is Eeb because it's socially unacceptable, not because the woman is being "rude" necessarily. The Arabic word for "rude" is وقح waqeH in Standard Arabic, or we'eH in Shami Arabic ... rudeness is only one type of socially unacceptable behavior, so it's goes under the big umbrella of Eeb
It can also mean taboo or socially unacceptable
Thank you so much Maha, these are some of the words I want to use when I work. Shukran also for the sense humor you add in the lessons. This makes you my best teacher because you make it real.🙏🙏
i hope that you will not use this kind of word to your co-workers :)
but to some close friends, for sure you can. :)
Assalam Alayikum Maha. I am Shahida here fro India. I attend ur lectures. And I enjoy ur teaching. My small request, when u say something then can you let it appear on the screen? It wud b easy for us to U/stand. I attend ur lectures for pronunciations. Maasalama.
Your dedication to teaching is examplary.
@LearnArabicwithMaha ...you said ara' at 18:46 and we say alak in tagalog and arak in ilocano here in the philippines for any alcoholic drink but especially factory made whisky or rum type drinks
There’s also isthe 3aLa Dem-Mock.. (have shame for your blood) or something like that
Hi i am your new subsriber😊
Please upload more videos 🙏
I'm arabic native speaker and stimm confused why i'm watching these videos 🤣🤣
Hello. Miss Maha , i have a cuestion to you? What about people from Egyp , they'r speek same dialect.?
No, they speak Egyptian Arabic. It's a little bit different, but understandable
@@ArabicSpeakingCats Salam, Miss Maha sokran, I like your videos , you are so great,. ✋😉💐⚘⚘⚘

Thank You very much for all the videos!!!
Just like in Maltese we say "isthi" for shame on you
Omg I just randomly came across your channel
I was subscribed to you on my old channel like 10years ago😂😂
I don't know what 3-letter word it's going to be, but I remember this one song where it said, "7aram 3alaika min 7aram."
"7aram" (حَرَام) is four letters, so I guess it's not it.
I am Somali Muslim Alhamdu Lillahi
IF YOU are masih say Alhamdu Lillahi.
مرحبا مها
In Arabic, is there any politeness level like while chatting with strangers/ with elder people? How can I chat Arabic with strangers in more polite way..!
