The magnetic drain plug makes sense, so do those drawers, along with the other things you mentioned. One of the things I did was replace my radiator with the CSF all-aluminum version. It eliminates the plastic on the OEM and increases the capacity by almost double. Plastic does fail over time, especially in hot and freezing environments. The added capacity is really helpful when going off road. Thanks, Paul!
They were just released about 6 months ago so they’re still relatively new to the market, but they have quickly become one of my most popular items 😁 If you’ve got any questions don’t hesitate to reach out!
Magnetic mounts pre-installed on the drawers & ready to install in a few minutes. I used N52 magnets so they’ll have a bit more pull strength than typical Neodymium magnets!
I went with the egr in channel window visor I'm happy no noise and covers the whole window. Recommend getting a transmission skid plate not too heavy and extra insurance if you hit a rock or something you don't damage the pan. ❤❤❤ Great video man those magnets on the drawer is pretty cool
Thanks for the video. Figured I would run down your list of accessories: 1) Magnetic Cubby: I too think they are a great solution, but I haven't tried to put anything in that area yet. 2) TRD Skid Plate: I'm planning to get a skid plate, I love the access plate on this one, but thinking of going with steel (RCI, or Cali Raised LED) 3) Center Console Organizer: One of the first things I did! Got mine from Runnin4Tacos. Love it. 4) LED Bulbs: my 24' basically has LEDs exterior (except DRLs), but did upgrade my interior lights to LED. 5) Window Visors: Just got my visors from 4Runner Lifestyle. Didn't know about the ones you show, but 4RL are similar in they hug the curves. 6) Magnetic Drain Plug: Sounds like I need to look more into this from this trusted technician. 7) All Season Floor Mats: I had to buy the Toyota ones, they "came" with the vehicle. 8) Radio knobs: WHATTT? Those are cool! Other accessories I did that you didn't mention (or more like mods): Painted front and rear valances black (I have the TRD ORP) Exterior emblems (and the steering wheel emblem) blacked out with Yota Expedition's Topo design. I'm a sucker for topo! Also did the front grille with the YX pro style in topo. Ring from oil pan guess Can't be a piston ring, too small or rather too thick? crankshaft ring? bearing ring? For something that big to be broken in the pan would scare me! Thanks again!
I appreciate you taking the time to respond. The ring is for the outer race in the idler gear for the timing chain 😬 Gear was holding on for dear life.
Now considering switching my rain guards to those, I like those much better. Have you considered switching the 12v socket to a dual usb fast charger. Toyota makes it, plug and play. I think it's worth it
@VikingsGarage i just did it on my truck a few days ago. Not too bad. Took me like 15 mins. Do they make one or something similar for the usb to the left of it that hooks up to the radio?
Great video as usual. I would say mods that I have done to the wife’s, airbag man airbags for the rear springs. A 12 V solutions remote start all plug-in. Play uses factory key fob. the other mod any of the Trd parts I color matched the Trd logo to the body color of the vehicle instead of running red TRD.
@@VikingsGarage What is the name of your dealership, and can I request that you will do the job, but I don't know your name. Would they let you do the work if I'd request it?
My 2024 4runner has USB-C ports in the back seat and USB-A ports up front. Is there a way to replace the USB-A ports in the dash with USB-C ports? Does a part from the RAV4 or Highlander maybe work and fit? Just like to standardize them all and not have adapters. Thanks.
How's the thickness of the knock-off skid? I've heard they tend to be thinner and under perfom on any kind of actual wear. Though that may only be with rough off roading😅
Im ordering those vent shades you got now, I like how they cut them to fit around the mirrors! That ring looks too small to be a piston ring.. I'm thinking it's from some kind of bearing? I'm curious to find out!! P.s. your 4runner is looking sick!! That Army green color is awesome 👌 especially with the bronze accents. When I bought mine, they didnt have any on the lot so I reserved a black sr5 premium that was "in transit". I ended up noticing a few days later they had a white 40th anniversary one "in transit" and changed my reservation to that one. I love it! Only thing is... I cant hide! 😅 Everyone texts me saying where they passed me or saw my 4runner lol Sometimes I wish I had the factory sliding tray in the trunk. I'm wondering if I can order one and install it? 🤔 Take care brother, All the best to you and yours!
Ok so I know it doesn’t matter, but have to ask brother….the magnetic drain plug you’re holding is coated in some black coating, but the drain plug linked to Amazon is just stainless….is it a different manufacturer that you have compared to what you have listed? Great video as usual brother! Appreciate it! Soli Deo Gloria~
Excellent point, so I’m holding a Greddy magnetic drain plug ($40), that I bought on eBay a while back. Same one is nowhere to be found anywhere else. The one I linked in Amazon, is the correct size and pitch and from the reviews it’s good quality and also only ($24.99). 🤷🏼♂️
@@VikingsGarage ahhhh ok, makes sense. Yeah i saw that it was the correct pitch, but wanted to make sure it was what you intended to list. I actually meant to do this when I got my 21’ Runner, but I got sidetracked on those valve style ones, but ultimately didn’t want to put all my faith of my 1GR-FE not blowing up on something I don’t want to be worrying about if that makes sense. So, I will be getting this one prior to my next oil change & oil sample. Appreciate the clarification brother 🤙
Great stuff! Nice to see you grabbed those AJT knobs, they are out of Traverse City, Mi. I grabbed some for my FJ last month :) I did get my ass protector installed (Nilight Hitch Step), very high quality and was actually surprised on the build. Great video I always enjoy your work. I love the drawers. I tried a magnetic drain plug, but the threads were not perfect. I did not want to damage the threads in the oil pan and cause more problems. so I went back to my original. I am looking for a quality magnetic drain plug. Can you suggest the one you used? It’s also the one that fits my tundra so it would be fantastic to have magnetic drain plugs again.
I appreciate your support, the one I got it’s like$40 from Greddy. Try the one on the videos description, lots of good reviews, plus it’s the correct one.

Hey I got a question. I replaced my rear window regulator on 2011 Toyota 4Runner. Do you know how can I reset the rear window? It goes up it will close and then it comes down.
If you hold the switch up for 5 seconds and down for 5 seconds (once the window is fully closed and opened) If that doesn’t work, then something else is going on. 🤷🏼♂️
Great content again, will look at that cubby holders.
