Brenda here. I am so very grateful for this video. You see this was on my bucket list but my back is so bad it will never happen. You gave me a gift by showing us this from your perspective. I sat and cried during this video due to joy. I just watched it a second time. Thank you! You just have no idea how much you impact others lives by showing your adventures. Bless you both.
Oh my goodness I did not want this vlog to end! It was your best one yet❤. I have been a subscriber from the beginning and y’all just get better and better every week. I loved that you showed the whole process of a balloon flight , from filling to finish. The views were stunning, great camera work. And the pure joy on y’all’s faces was a joy to watch. Dropping down on that river, holy smokes! Now I know I need a balloon ride in my future ❤. And congratulations on almost having 100,000 subs! Won’t be long till you get that silver plaque!
I watched this yesterday and cried. I have alot of health issues, anxiety and a disabled husband. I will never do these things in person but i enjoy you having so much fun Every time Cody laughs it warms my heart Thank you for sharing this with us ❤
Holy SH*T!! That hot air balloon ride though!! What an awesome ride! Absolutely beautiful scenery from up there! Watching Cody freak out when you all hovered over the river and then to see the big horn sheep was EPIC!😂This episode is going down as one of my most favorite Cody & Kellie vlogs! Landing in that tribal community was way cool too! Taos, here I come!!
2:50- Fresh cacao in Taos not only kinda rhymes but it also somewhat hearkens back to the fact that archaeologists in Chaco Canyon have found traces of cacao on Native American ceremonial vessels dating back to pre-European times. Yes, that means that the Native Americans of what's now New Mexico had communication and trade with Native Americans in what's now the central part of Mexico and considered cacao to be a special commodity! Thanks for this!
Taos has always been a very special place to me. That was sooo interesting seeing the process of getting the balloon ready to fly and then Sol explaining how he navigates. Man, let me tell you……that guy has some incredible SKILL!!!
My wife and I have been following you for quite awhile now and your videos just keep getting better. My apologies for not commenting and complimenting you sooner. Your videography skills continue to inspire and improve. It seems like you both have found such a great balance of relationship, life and keeping work fun. I must say I was not very excited about New Mexico but WOW, we are definitely planning a trip soon! Thank you so much for sharing!
This was the best hot air balloon experience video. The drone footage added a layer of 3D to all. We have followed this channel through all its incarnations and its taking to super professional level of narrative and cinematic storytelling.
That was amazing!! That man is a wizard, I loved the toast at the end! Codys description of the man with the childlike wonder described everyone in that basket, what a special adventure!
Thank you Kellie for always looking so good and Cody for the history lessons. Love your restaurant tours and the foods that you order always looks so good. Those fries that Kellie ordered that came with her steak look so good that i wanted to eat off her plate, like Cody did. That was a pretty cool chocolate shop as well and wondered how different those chocolate varieties tasted using those different types of coco beans. Inflating that balloon looked so cool. Another stellar video you guys, Thanks from Canada.
What a great adventure🎈🎈We did the hot air balloon ride with Saul. Going down into the River Gorge was the most exciting part. You both are great tour guides....keep up the great work 👍👍🥂
This video brings to mind one of my very favorite memories. We spent our 15th anniversary, just about 15 years ago on a hot air balloon adventure over Sonoma Valley, CA followed by a delicious outdoor brunch picnic and wine tasting at a local vineyard. What a beautiful day that was and what a beautiful day you’ve shared with us. Thanks for taking us along!
The tiny stick "holding up" the bolder was hilarious 😅. Great paddling you two & tour of Taos. I have several friends that recently moved there & love it. The hot air balloon ride, going down into the gorge & spectacular views was simply epic
You guys are the bomb! I look forward to your videos so much. Watching how the hot air balloon gets ready and takes off -- next best ever! Keep on playing -- I love coming along for the ride!!
You guys are awesome also what a beautiful place with some beautiful people ❤️ I'm also telling my friends and family to subscribe to your channels love you guys
The footage of the balloon with the sunlit mountains in the background and the God rays and river gorge was gorgeous. I've always wanted to visit Santa Fe and Taos and this video sealed it for me. Definitely Cody's best day ever. 😅
Cody I am impressed. I love hot air ballon's but I am also scared of heights so I prefer watching them from the ground. Also GREAT drone work the video is epic.
This was by far the coolest video I've watched on UA-cam. The wow factor was off the charts. Dude, she wants to settle down. Written all over her face.
Just WOW!! 😮 the adrenaline of rushing to get in that balloon and then the views of it lifting up and away!! I’ve now added this to my bucket list of adventures! Thanks for sharing and taking us along with you 😅
This was amazing the views were incredible and now I’m convinced that a hot air balloon ride will be in my future. Great episode guys thanks for taking me along.
Taos is one of my favorite places. Taos mesa brewery makes excellent beers, we go every time we visit. I’m going to book with big river raft trips and rio grande balloons for our next trip there. Thanks!
This makes me so happy to see! You got some amazing shots. I am originally from Louisiana. I moved to Taos in 2017 and worked as a raft guide on the rio grande for 6 years. Best job ever! I worked for New Mexico River Adventures (NMRA). The boat house was just down the road from Vivac. I've spent many an evening there with loved ones. I loved seeing y'all enjoy some of my favorite spots, and getting suggestions of where else to go! As a chocolate lover, I can't believe I haven't been inside chokola yet. I'll definitely be going soon! And I wasn't aware the Tap Room had NA beers, I'll have to give one a try. Almost every morning I see a hot air balloon from my home. I always thought "No way! That would be terrifying!" But I have to admit, that experience looked incredible! I had no idea they got so close to the river! And you're right Kellie, that was basically no man's land. The only way people usually get down there would be via a boat on the river. If ever you're back during peak water, I highly recommend checking out the Taos Box! It's a full day rafting trip, class 4, and you're down in the gorge just as you were for 16 miles. Another great spot to checkout for hiking (or skiing in the winter) is the Taos Ski Valley area. Gorgeous views and great skiing (or snowboarding for my husband and I). Thank you for this! Especially the extensive footage of the hot air balloon experience. Felt like I was there! I sure love this place!
Hey, Kellie and Cody. I’ve been thoroughly enjoying your adventures this year, thanks for taking us with you. Hot air balloon ride is a bucket lister for sure, sadly may not happen in this lifetime. I was moved to tears by the drone shots of the sun rays spreading through the clouds gently touching the mountains and land and even on my iPad screen it took my breath away…twice. This may be my favorite video you’ve posted. I loved virtually sharing the joy and awe of your experience🙏❣️
Awesomeness!! The whole video from the start to the finish. That toast at the end topped it off. The music during the float was a petfect fit and also the music for the ballon ride was beautiful and so calming. So happy for you both and keep on keeping on! 😎❤
Been following you since camping with the Bearju in Arkansas. This was the best yet. That hot air balloon ride was a spiritual experience. Thank you . Beautifully done! Bravo!

The drone footage of the balloon in flight....perfection! Some of the best I've seen on UA-cam! ✌️😁
Wow, thanks!

Great video, I lived in Taos for 3 years and enjoyed, the winter can be trying, but a beautiful place.😊
This awesome episode should easily push you over 100,000 subscribers! Congratulations!👍
Wow, thanks!
Cody always love you giving us part of the history of the area
Kellie's reaction to Cody saying to get rid of one of her other hats was so funny! Love you 2!

I’m so glad you were still out truck camping and sharing your adventures on UA-cam.
